Reiter who are based in California, USA.

In an area with more bands per square foot than perhaps anywhere else in America, Reiter has rapidly become one of the most popular original artists on the Southern California music scene.

Taking their name from vocalist/guitarist/keyboard player Jerry’s surname, Reiter’s unique sound is a culmination of all the band members’ different influences ranging from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.
Since their formation over a decade ago, the band have paid their dues on the club circuit and gone on to support the likes of Alice Cooper, Great White, UFO and Y&T to name just a small few.  Reiter have also had success in writing songs for movies and TV shows, where they had a song featured on HBO series True Blood.

The band have most recently released their 3rd studio album titled Rider Rides Tonight and you can find further information on this along with gig dates on their website www.reiterrocks.com

Suburban Myth are proud to announce the release of “Crashed and Burned”, the second single taken from the band’s debut Album ‘Welcome (If Only)’. The band is in the ascendance following the release of their first single (the album title track). This single delivers a fresh dissonant rock sound with a big melodic chorus that brings out the best in the vocals of Derek Daisey. Suburban Myth will release ‘Crashed and Burned’ on 31st October.

“Suburban Myth “offers a melodic rock sound blended with lyrics that have meaning and depth and this second single is destined to be one of the bands anthems during their live performances.

“Crashed and Burned“ was written spontaneously and recorded after the band saw “Muse” live in concert at Madison Square Garden   Derek’s  composition and arrangement came naturally and seamlessly to Phil’s lyrics and with the live show in mind , wanted to introduce a conflict and an edge to the developing sound of Suburban Myth . When you listen to Crashed and Burned you will hear that Derek, Nicholas and Nick have succeeded in doing exactly that.

Since recently supporting “Dylan Taylor” and “Anyone’s Guess” at The Windjammer, the band is going from strength to strength. Suburban Myth are quickly establishing themselves in their own right and with their own style of rock music and have recently received radio play on a host of stations across the UK , including BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio . “Suburban Myth” are

Derek Daisey – Lead Guitar & Vocals

Nicholas OKelley – Bass Guitar & Vocals

Nick Lomma – Percussion

The new single from KAV - "Free Spirit" released October 20th.

It's featured on the new album "The Man with No Shadow" which was released at the end of August 2014 via Wild Echo Records.

The Man With No Shadow has been picking up significant radio airplay all over America, debuting at #20 in the top 200 CMJ most added chart with 25 adds this past week.

“KAV is one of those one in a million artists that just exudes talent… Imagine if Bob Dylan was young in modern times and he had an addiction to sleaze and you’d be half way to understanding KAV’s sound. Simple, perfectly executed sleazy rock & hidden depths. Sick” Alex Baker – Kerrang! Radio

KAV is a Rock n’ Roll solo artist based in LA from Leicester, UK and a former Happy Mondays guitarist. His music has been compared to everyone from Iggy & The Stooges, BRMC, Primal Scream, The Rolling Stones & Bob Dylan by British and US press.

After several years recording between LA and London, KAV releases The Man With No Shadow, a bold full-length album, full of anthemic uplifting singles & dirty, fuzzy, bass-driven Rock n’ Roll.

He recently signed to new LA indie label Wild Echo Records and the first single from his album ‘Dance in A Panic’ was used in a video teaser for movie 'Decoding Annie Parker' featuring Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul dancing to the track.

KAV's first ever band A.K.A Weave signed a deal with ex-Oasis bassist Guigsy who had started a new label. After the split of the band

KAV went on co-found Getloaded Rock n’ Roll club-nights at Turnmills London. The events were hosted by Shaun Ryder & featured musical legends Peter Hook (New Order/Joy Division,) Mani (Stone Roses, Primal Scream,) Tony Wilson (Factory Records, 24 Hour Party People), Andy Rourke & Mike Joyce (The Smiths), Clint Boon (Inspiral Carpets) & several DJ's from Radio 1 & XFM. The success of the nights saw the brand become ‘Get Loaded in The Park’ Festival – a 20,000 capacity festival on Clapham Common running for 7 years.

For his first ever festival KAV helped reform Manchester legends Happy Mondays as the headliner, working closely with front man Shaun Ryder. He joined the Happy Mondays on guitar & went on to play & co-write with the band for 3 years until 2007, touring the world and playing festivals from Coachella, Fuji Rock, V Festival & many more.

Since launching his solo project in 2008, KAV has supported UK band Kasabian at their Brixton Academy show, Headlined Club NME at KOKO, played the Olympics in Hyde Park London, toured the West Coast of the US with Norweigan band Datarock & played SXSW and CMJ festivals in the US.

In 2010 KAV wrote and released a track for Welsh author and friend Howard Marks (AKA Mr Nice) as part of the Mr Nice EP which was released around Howards biopic movie ‘Mr Nice’ (starring Rhys Iffans & Chloe Sevigny.)

KAV spent most of 2013 developing and producing music for fashion icon Zombie Boy – the face of L’Oreal Dermablend, Jay Z’s clothing line Rocawear, who also featured in Lady Gaga’s ‘Born this Way’ video.

KAV will be touring the US & Europe this autumn and the UK in February 2015.

"A Rollercoaster of Emotions & Pure Electricity courses through KAV’s The Man With No Shadow, making this possibly one of the Strongest Album Releases of 2014. With Future Anthems and Beauty blooming from every track; it won’t be long until KAV has the world in the palm of his hand. Watch this space, The Man With No Shadow is coming." (Gigslutz)

"The album’s Scuzzy Fuzz-Bombs find the sonic midpoint between Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Kasabian, so this is not your-nephew-from-Echo-Park’s garage rock. Instead, it’s the world as viewed through the smudged lens of somebody who’s kicked up years of dust." Buzz Bands LA.

Following a Radio 2 A-listing for their first single “Red Cassette” and the release of their critically acclaimed third album “Cheap Hotel”Mamas Gun are set to release their new single “Hello, Goodnight” on October 20th.

This is a new track from Rupert Stroud's new "Way Back Home" e.p. which is released on September 29th 2014.

Biography:

Displaying strong-hearted, beat driven acoustic rock, inspired tracks. Rupert Stroud possesses fantastic vocal ability.

Having been compared to Richard Ashcroft, Jim Morrison and Nick Cave with a hint of Elbow, Stroud has attracted attention from BBC Introducing / BBC 6Music (Tom Robinson) + BBC Radio 2 (Dermot O’Leary show), XFM Radio, BFBS and Radio 2.

Rupert’s working with eminent British producer Will Jackson (The Kaiser Chiefs, Embrace, The Cribs). It was his work with Will that produced Rupert’s second album “Chasing The Night”.

This was a breakthrough project for Rupert and saw him dubbed as one of Yorkshire's hottest young artists.

“Chasing The Night” took the internet by storm receiving rave reviews with online press and magazines.

This track from the e.p. has been very well received already on the BBC:

"Morning Light- A wonderful track and when we heard it we said - we have to play this on the show!" - Tom Robinson BBC 6Music/BBC Introducing

"“Morning Light is a great song from new lad from Yorkshire, Rupert Stroud!” - Dermot O’Leary BBC Radio 2

The plaudits kept coming and they soon saw Rupert performing with his band on the festival circuit sharing the stage with artists such as James Blunt (opening the show in June at Dalby Forest N. Yorkshire) George Ezra, The Hoosiers, ASH, Catfish and The Bottlemen, Ocean Colour Scene, Chris Helme (Seahorses) and Benjamin Francis Leftwich.

Rupert’s career has gone from strength to strength and his most recent releases “Never Back Down” and “Morning Light” have caught the ears of national radio, receiving radio play and plaudits from the likes of BBC Radio 2's Dermot O'Leary, Whispering Bob Harris, BBC introducing and 6 Music's Tom Robinson, XFM and BFBS Radio.

This led to Rupert and the band being invited by BBC Radio London for a live session and interview. Also following the addition of “Morning Light” to the A Playlist at BFBS Radio, Rupert was invited down to BFBS Radio studios for a special feature interview and session.

His music video for “Never Back Down” won “People’s Choice Award 2013” at The 27th Leeds International Film Festival.

As a “Champion Spokesperson” for Alzheimer’s Research UK, a cause close to his heart, Rupert has raised over £6000 to date through various campaigns and events including his charity single “Always”. The single was written in memory of his grandmother who suffered with Alzheimer’s.

As a media spokesperson for the charity, Rupert was recently interviewed by The Guardian newspaper talking about the tragedy of the illness and why he became involved. Rupert was also interviewed on Al Jazeera International News programme “Inside Story”, where the video for his charity single “Always” was broadcast.

Rupert is back in the studio with Will Jackson working on his third album due for release later in 2014.

CORBU RELEASE NEW TRACK ‘NEON HALLWAY’ AHEAD OF EP RELEASE ‘EVERYTHING YOU IMAGINE IS REAL’, OUT THIS OCTOBER
Brooklyn-based five-piece Corbu have released a new track ‘Neon Hallway’, the first track taken from their brand new EP, 'Everything You Imagine Is Real', out on October 6th 2014 through 3Beat.
A smouldering concoction of dreamy symphonies and extra-terrestrial melodies, Corbu is the brainchild of frontman and multi-instrumentalist Jonathan Graves. Named after the famed Swiss architect Le Corbusier, Corbu have quickly built up a reputation for crafting extensive aural soundscapes that marry lush full sounds with an introspective dream-like quality, inspired by both Graves interest in space and lucid sleep patterns.
Extending the line-up to include Amanda Scott (synths, percussion), Todd Hoellerman (drums, keys), Julian Ferraldo (guitar, keys) and Brian Murphy (bass, keys) to translate his vision into an impressive live experience, Corbu have already won major acclaim from some of the UK's biggest tastemakers such as Radio 1’s Zane Lowe and Rob Da Bank, XFM’s John Kennedy, Mixmag, NME, and were hailed as the Guardian’s ‘New Band of the Week’ following their previous EP release earlier this year.
Corbu will now swiftly return with their new four track EP 'Everything You Imagine Is Real', out on October 6th 2014.

The new single from Nishe is released on October 20th 2014 and is taken from the current e.p - "This is Nishe"
Nishe are an alternative/Indie-rock band from London formed in August 2013.
"Somewhere in the space between the Arctic Monkeys and Muse...you have Nishe." said one blogger.
The band's last single "You Got me Blind" was played all over the country and their track "This Time" was featured on BBC Radio London.
Chris Straw from Bauer Media said: "They have their own distinct sound it has a really strong hook, nice production too the way it gets really dense towards the end. Great track."
The band consists of Giovanni Zappa (lead vocals, guitar), Harold Wilson (bass, backing vocals) and Thomas Romer-Smith (drums, backing vocals) - three guys portraying different environments and mixing a diverse range of influences, from exotic tight rhythms to big surrounding sounds.
They propose a new concept of attraction, where the intriguing balance between tension and explosion is the key factor.
And this is undeniably evident in their personalities that perfectly reflect the dualism of their music, where sensibility and impetus, unpretentious and pride, comfort and incisiveness, contemplation and grip coexist, tied with contagious hooks and loads of excitement.
The releasing of their first EP “This is Nishe” achieved in the last months an unexpected enthusiastic feedback from blogs and radios in the UK, US, EU Canada and South America.
Nobody expected that the Californian online magazine “Indie Rock Café”, with around half a million views from all over the world every month, would include Nishe’s EP among the “Top DIY Albums” of this year, praising their “surprisingly fresh” work.
When Becky Jones put Nishe “somewhere in the space between Arctic Monkeys and Muse” on her blog, the three members of the band blushed:-)
The band are already working in preparation for their return to the studio. They would like to evolve their three piece electric guitar based sound adding more synths and electronic layers, reserving a collaboration with one of the freshest established artists that they will soon reveal.

Single featuring Shannon’s father and Bollywood legend Kumar Sanu, and rapper Cyba, was released 8th September

With a thought provoking set of lyrics written by her nine year old sister Annabel, the new single from Shannon K was inspired by lessons the siblings were taught in school in relation to drugs. Having been made aware of the dangers of drugs in school, the pair decided to compose a song together – written by Annabel, performed by Shannon – which would raise further awareness of the issue.

The result is brand new pop single ‘Just Say No….!’ which you can hear here:

Produced by David Tyrrell and mastered by Award winning engineer Tim Hamill at a studio in Wales, the song is an upbeat, infectious tune designed to carry the positive message of staying away from drugs.

It comes as little surprise that the two young girls carry such musical talent – their father is legendary Bollywood vocalist Kumar Sanu, who makes a guest appearance on the single himself.

A glittering career as a vocalist in Bollywood has seen him win a total of 69 awards including 64 in his native India (from Filmfare, Zee Cine, Kishore Kumarand more) plus 5 internationally (from Sunrise Radio-London, West Indian Academy, Grammy-West Indies, Bollywood Music-U.S.A. and Radio Lotus-South Africa).

However, with two talented up and coming daughters who share his passion for music, perhaps in time even his own sizeable list of achievements will be eclipsed.

The amazing Ange Hardy played a live session on tonight's show . Great to chat to as well .  You all seemed to love it here's a few of my fav comments re the show

Comments -

I have to say I think that was the best interview I have heard you give yet. The sound quality was perfect and despite you having a slightly husky voice you sang all three songs so well.  I also think Jackson Cooper is the best DJ / interviewer you have been in a radio studio with. He asked very sensible questions and didn't delve too much into your  early life but let you say as much about it as you wanted to say without being semi pressured into saying more.  Also it wasn't a rushed interview as it took approx 35 - 40 mins so well done.

@robswan: Listening to @AngeHardyMusic being interviewed by @jacksoncooper3… utterly, utterly captivating.

The new single from 4th Street Traffic.
Bitter Sweet - impact date October 6th 2014.
Formed in 2001, 4th Street Traffic has had a true apprenticeship in the unsigned music industry, where most bands have long lost the belief in their dream, 4th street slogged it out and the hunger has grown stronger.
The release of the Début album “Wake Up Call” sold a massive 3000 hard copies to a fan base that grew overnight, with this support and overwhelming reaction the path was set for a great future, following the release the band set a 15 date uk tour and were creating a buzz.
Local radio station Red Dragon FM (Now Capital FM) saw something exciting and invited the band to perform “Party In The Park” 2005 in front of a crowd of 25,000.
After a string of EP releases they created a second Album titled “Kick the habit” at Long Wave Studios, with producer Romesh Dodangoda, who had produced for Manic Street Preachers, Kids in Glass houses, Funeral for a Friend, Twin Atlantic among many other great bands.
It was the game changer, this album was picked up by Kelly Jones and Richard Jones of Stereophonics which lead to the band being invited to open up the Summer In The City concert in Cardiff City Stadium to a sell out of 30,000.
Kick the Habit went on to sell well in excess of 6000 copies in hard copies and online downloads, it continues to sell strong to this day and the success of this year alone shot the bands profile up dramatically.
With an incredible foundation in place the bands status grew and they became more popular with promoters across the board making the call work with them, the support slots came rolling in with some fantastic headliners such as Electric Six, Toploader, The Darkness, Mike and the Mechanics, The Stranglers, 10CC, Dodgy, We Are Scientists, The Enemy and list goes on.
Late 2013/2014 after literally a year of solid grind to fund studio time the band went back to Long Wave Studio to finish off the tracks for the 3rd Album “Claim To Fame”.
The months following have been totally dedicated to touring, hitting the festival circuit and promoting as much as physically possible.
There has always been a steady stream of artists ready to emerge from the hills and valleys capable of being world beaters. 4th Street Traffic are one of those bands right now!
Their music is packed with ripe with hooks and a crowd-bouncing dose of pop-rock energy capable of getting any crowd going with their simple and melodic approach allowing for total enjoyment.

Dmitry Nechaev single ‘Memory (Unstaged)’

Set for release Oct 29th

http://we.tl/44MCd9Bh3K

Flamboyant songwriter, Dmitry Nechaev is not the kind of artist who comes along every day. Born in Russia, his vocal is reminiscent of Savage Garden’s Darren Hayes, only with a deeper soul to the sound.

His latest single, due on October 29th, gives you a glimpse of what's to come

Listen to 'Memory (Unstaged)’ here: https://soundcloud.com/dmitrynechaev/memory-unstaged

The single, recorded ‘as live’, is part of a larger collaborative project, stringing together a host of ‘Unstaged’ music videos to create a tightly woven plot. It’s an unusual way to release a single, but Dmitry has never done things the ordinary way.

Having toured the world while working as a model, his journey into the music industry started proper in 2008 when he won ‘Best Vocalist of the Year’ in a contest held between the leading music colleges and institutes of Moscow followed by debut album Ignis Fatuus released in. For a time, he continued to work as a model, but has recently decided to make the transition to full time musician and songwriter.

Following it’s worldwide radio premiere on both Austin Kramer’s show (Sirius) and Danny Howard (Radio 1), Michael Woods presents his debut release on Spinnin' Records with ‘In Your Arms featuring Lauren Dyson,’
‘In Your Arms’ had its debut spin at Pacha’s No Pants Party in New York back in March this year, after Michael had finished the track en-route to the gig. And it connected immediately - with Tiesto demanding a copy when he heard it in the booth no less. The demand from djs and clubbers for this one has been overwhelming, and, with a significant promo plan in place this is set to be one of Michael’s most prominent releases in recent times. The package serves up a funky and electric remix from internationally renowned duo Plastik Funk as well as an extended club mix from Michael himself.
Rolling into the summer season with tour dates from Ibiza to Toronto and a residency at Hakkasan (Las Vegas) in the midst of it all, Michael’s tour diary is as strong as ever as he prepares to release more material plus launch his newly revamped and soon to be weekly podcast. How does he fit it all in?

KITTY BRUCKNELL
‘GLITTER IN THE SKY’
RELEASED: 19TH OCTOBER 2014
“Kitty's departure was most notable for signalling something else: the instant that this year's The X Factor stopped being fun.”
– The Guardian
Mention Kitty to anyone and they will instantly know you are talking about, the irresistibly controversial Kitty Brucknell, who wowed 14.8million viewers as a finalist on the eighth season of the X-Factor, alongside Frankie Cocozza and Little Mix.
Kitty captivated the audiences and judges alike with her soaring vocals and outlandish theatrical performances, which saw her entering the stage on a giant Catherine wheel and stomping on silverware as Alice in Wonderland for her cover of ‘Oh So Quiet’ by the equally quirky Bjork.
During the show, Kitty not only found a fan in eccentric pop queen Lady Gaga, she also received messages of support from Kylie Minogue, Brian May and Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton who even invited her as ‘Guest of Honour’ to his 36th birthday bash.
Since the X-Factor, Kitty has embarked on several critically acclaimed international tours, headlined National Pride Day and released a series of underground recordings including ‘Chains’ which not only attracted attention from the likes of Cosmopolitan, the Mirror and Digital Spy, but Queen’s Brian May also tweeted the track as his ‘Hot tip of the week.’
THIS OCTOBER will see the return of Kitty with her debut single ‘Glitter In The Sky’ taken from her forthcoming album ‘Glamour & Damage,’ with this sing along quirky, indie/pop song, she’ll be exploding back onto the scene in her inimitable style which see’s her jumping out of a plane at 15,000ft up for her brand new video.
This Kitty has found her claws and is ready to take back her crown as
QUEEN DIVA!

Vocalist Joe James on the meaning behind 'Perfect' - 'I am a perfectionist. To a fault. It's a tiring pursuit. I was trying to write a song about this particular subject and predictably I was never quite happy with any of the lyrics. Shocking. I decided that the only way to do it was to beat my compulsion at its own game and write the song whilst tracking it in the vocal booth. So this song was written on the spot and in the moment and it's probably one of my favourites on the album.'

JANET DEVLIN ‘Creatures of the Night’
VIDEO: http://youtu.be/OPuMQv5pk6E
Label: Insomnia Music Records
Release Date: 6th October 2014
“Every year on The X Factor someone drops the “C” bomb. The C Bomb (“credibility”, since you ask) marks them out as a different category of contestant, though not many live up to it. One former wannabe who does is Janet Devlin” - London Evening Standard
“We think ‘Creatures of the Night’ is the track to take her back to that huge mainstream audience again […] Upbeat, feel good and just a perfect acoustic-driven song we’d be delighted to hear blasting out of the stereo at a barbeque this summer” - Record of the Day
After reaching number 1 in the Official UK Independent Album Charts with her debut record ‘Running With Scissors’ in June, Janet Devlin returns with her new single ‘Creatures of the Night’, which is due for release on 6th October 2014.
Co-written with Newton Faulkner and his brother Toby, ‘Creatures of the Night’ is a folk-driven pop song that was inspired by Janet’s chronic insomnia at the time. It starts off acoustically and builds by adding eerie owl-like backing vocals and rhythmic rolling drums to Janet’s lush Northern Irish vocals.
Janet describes the experience of writing with one of her musical heroes as “a dream come true. I’ve been a huge fan of Newton for years. To work with him was great; terrifying, but great! As soon as I got over the shock of meeting him it was straight to work. Both Newton and his brother Toby were very laid back and chilled and I always love our sessions together”.
Janet’s passion for cartoons inspired the video for ‘Creatures of the Night’, which was created by rising director Gary Dumbill. Whilst putting together mood boards for the video, Janet decided she wanted to go with a psychedelic colour scheme, similar to that of the show ‘Bee and PuppyCat’, and even came up with the weird hybrid creatures that are running around, which she describes as her “fuzzy buddies”.
Janet embarks on her ‘My Delirium Tour’ across the UK in December. You can also catch her live at the Communion Bar, London on 24th September for her single launch party. All tickets and tour information can be found on Janet’s website: http://www.janetdevlin.com/live/

new single from Andriah Arrindell (featuring Whytepatch)which is released later in 2014 (release date to be announced)
It's an introduction to the new album which comes out at the end of September 2014 and the follow up to her single "Time to Shine" which is out W/c September 1st.
Andriah performs at the Back2Black event on the 5th October in London.
More info:
Emerging UK Soulful, Pop Singer & Songwriter Andriah Arrindell, gears
up for the release of her second single and debut album.
The album includes an array of tracks which showcases her sultry,
 bubbly and fabulous soprano sound.
The East London based Andriah is no stranger to the music scene as she
features on a dance tune called "See You Dance, Dance" by Whytepatch
which reached no 2 in the music week dance chart of June this year
and is still being played across many pirate and community radio
stations.
Andriah has been singing professionally since the age of 17. At 19
she moved to New York City where she worked with Colombia records on
some projects.
In 2003 she moved back to the UK and joined the London Community
Gospel Choir. She performed on the music hall of fame in 2005 with
Aretha Franklin and Jamie Cullum, performed with Madonna at Live 8
2005 and also did studio work for Julian Lennon.
The same year she also sang onstage with Kim Burrell at the Hammersmith Apollo in 2005 which was so amazing.
Andriah was a backing singer for Shola Ama for two years and supported
De La Soul at the Jazz Cafe in 2007. She has performed on Blue Peter
and Glastonbury and other top venues in Britain.

She is a seasoned traveller and has toured around Europe whilst
supporting other choirs and on her own solo projects.
Andriah is
brilliant songwriter and loves to write her own music.

Her singing experience and music craft earned her a three year record
deal in the past where one track called "Love Me Love Me Not" was
released. The track had more success with the house mixes in Europe
 and Stateside.
As part of promoting the track, she performed in Cyprus, New York,
Italy and in London at Cafe de Paris for the Footballers Association
Ball.

Notably, she also performed at the Obama Inauguration event at
Inter-continental Hotel Park Lane with Kelly Rowland and Mica Paris.

on promoting the album and continuing to support the CK Gospel Choir
which in her own words she says, “I am loving every minute of it”.

Bristol based, the John Fairhurst Band are a newly formed trio fronted by their eponymous songwriter. Drawing from Rock, blues and world music, with a penchant for slide guitar and a distinctive deep growling voice, his songs, delivered in pure raconteur style, narrate all the hardships of life on the road

For the first time, John Fairhurst will be releasing his new album – and the preceding singles – accompanied by a powerhouse rhythm section of Bristol’s young guns: Toby Murray & Pete Episcopo.

For a taste of their sound, check out this video for ‘Breakdown’:

http://youtu.be/2_FazFk_EGw

The new release is a turning point in the career of John Fairhurst, marking the shift from solo artist and duo member to power rock blues trio. In the course of his career so far, he has spent the last decade travelling the world and supported the likes of Fun Lovin’ Criminals, performed with world beatbox champions Bellatrix and Reeps1 and the late, great, blues legend Johnny Winter. He includes Winter among his fans, as well as Robbie Macintosh of The Pretenders and Indian Sarod Master, K Sridhar– just a small indication of the quality of his live show.

The new material is the fruit of first class production: Alex Beitzke (Jamiroquai, Florence and The Machine, Nigel Kennedy, Ed Sheeran, Prince), Paul Cartledge (Tony Visconti) and mastering engineer Ray Staff (Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, The Clash).

This fantastic pedigree of collaborators is the result of a prolific approach to gigging, playing between 200-250 gigs a year between 2011 and 2014. Highlights include taking to the stage at SXSW in Austin, Texas, playing the Roundhouse in London and opening for Johnny Winter on his European Tour. That’s not to mention countless festival appearances and 35 gigs at Glastonbury alone since 2008, including a performance this year on The Glade Stage.

All highly impressive for a career that he “fell into” almost by chance. Taking a tumble down an unmarked manhole while labouring on a building site, Fairhurst had little mobility for a year following a serious knee injury. He used some of the money from the accident compensation to immediately buy a National Resonator guitar, playing it incessantly for the year he was bed bound, truly feeling the blues. It’s during this year that he really developed virtuoso finger-picking techniques and found the sound which carried him across four continents.

Singer-Songwriter Jessie Lowes looks to the ‘Stars’ with new single
Emotional single begins the run up to a debut album release
Available from September 22nd, ‘Stars’ is the new single from acoustic singer-songwriter Jessie Lowes. Based in Northumberland and specialising in a delicate mix of clear vocal and guitar picking, Lowes is a songwriter not afraid to wear her heart on her sleeve when it comes to her music. The single ‘Stars’ was written for her mother who passed away in 2008 from Cancer, and the song is a tribute to their close relationship:

Watch the video here: http://youtu.be/xVTu2Ut8Fn0

It’s hard to believe that a song this delicate is the work of an ex-cage fighter and club level rugby player - the light touch and subtleties of her music covering a tougher background than most, a childhood that music played a huge part in.

It comes as little surprise to learn that Jessie grew up around music, often using it as an escape. Her Uncle Tony Raine was a famous jazz pianist working with the likes of Louis Armstrong, Julian Slade, Judy Garland and Diana Ross, and had his own TV show in the 60s called MusicBox. And it is from this solid pedigree that Lowes’ musical pedigree was borne.

And now, with further singles and an album due before the end of this year, Jessie Lowes is set to take her love affair with music to the next level.

‘Stars’ will be available from September 22nd.

Lydia Singer - Meteor - new single out October 4th 2014 via iTunes and all other digital outlets.
A song about young love - "Meteor" was co - written by Rob Davis - who's well known for writing Kylie's "Can't Get You Out Of My Head."
Lydia is based in Woburn, Beds and works with vocal coach Lauren Fields and it was through this connection she started working with Lauren's husband, record producer, Charles Foskett.
Charles made his friend Rob Davis aware of this fresh new singer and Rob was so blown away by her voice that he agreed to co-write the song for her. The three of them came up with Meteor especially for Lydia.
Lydia’s been singing since a young age and attends the same performing arts school as former pupil Ella Henderson. Lydia is currently studying a theatre arts course, the same course, Ella Henderson studied.
Lydia has been working with producer Steve Salvari on another 3 songs, including one of her own - Stupid Love.
Lydia has also recently been working with Keni Stevens, who is best known for his soul album in 1987, Blue Moods. Keni has helped with the production of a music video for Meteor.
Lydia has sung at many gigs over the last 3 years and hopes to make many more performances in the future.
Interesting facts:
She's already taking her GCSE's in some subjects...
She sings in theatres too (currently in The Wiz in Milton Keynes).
Lydia is due to sing at Ronnie Scott’s Big Band in a Day.
Lydia’s musical influences are Eva Cassidy, Adele, Jessie J and Emeli Sande.
Her aim is to make it in the music industry and judging by the power of her voice at this age, we think that dream may just come true;-)

BEARTOOTH
Reveal Smashing New Video For “The Lines”

Hotly tipped metalcore band, Beartooth have released an awesome video for new single “The Lines”.

Beartooth will return to our shores this September for their first UK and European headline tour. The Columbus, Ohio based 5 piece - lead by enigmatic, multitalented frontman and ex Attack Attack singer, Caleb Shomo - will be bringing their aggressive, no-frills metallic hardcore of the highest caliber to the following venues:
September:
16th London, Borderline - SOLD OUT
17th Birmingham, O2 Academy 3
18th Glasgow, Cathouse
19th Manchester, Roadhouse
20th Leeds, Cockpit 2
"Beartooth are coming back to Europe! I'm stoked to do some international rockin' and rollin’!! The shows over there are real wild. We can't wait to hang out and play some tunes - see you in the pit” - Caleb Shomo
The ‘Toof - who recently finished demolishing stages across the U.S.A on the Vans Warped Tour - will also be joining Pierce The Veil and Sleeping With Sirens on their co-headline World Tour. Tour dates have just been announced over at www.worldtour.info
Beartooth songs are jam-packed with the passion, energy and urgent excitement of the underground Metalcore that emerged over two decades ago. Beartooth is a wakeup call, a rallying point against scene trends that have watered down the vibrant spirit of a classic sound; there is nothing fake about the sentiments on display. It’s real. It’s raw. Driven by the gritty sounds of guitar, bass, drums and forcefully deliberate vocals, Beartooth’s opening salvo delivers undeniable anthems.
“I Have a Problem”, “The Lines” and “Beaten In Lips” confidently announce Beartooth’s arrival to the world via an aural assault that viscerally connects in a way that is primal and destructive. There is no distinction between the band and their audience. They are one. Beartooth serves up arrestingly personal musings that act as conduits to their fans, the people who struggle with the same issues.
The best bands are often birthed by the most modest of intentions. No master plan, no blueprint for success, no marketing strategies – these are the types of groups whose organic formation ensures an authenticity to their creative output that can’t be manufactured. When all of the stars align and the material is fully executed, it’s groups like Beartooth who ultimately dominate against pretenders to the throne.
Take a dive into the mind, take a journey into complicated issues, emerge refreshed and energised. Put on Beartooth and enjoy the ride.

Born in London and living in Hertfordshire, Lauren Rich is a singer-songwriter who certainly knows how to weave her distinctive voice around an effective acoustic chord pattern. With a taste for harmony and autobiographical lyrics that mean her songs border on country, Lauren is an artist with a bright future.

The next step in her musical career will see Lauren run a simultaneous release, with single ‘The Drink Talking’ taken from EP ‘The Same Sky’. Recorded with engineer Alan Emptage (Skunk Anansie, Arcade Fire, London Grammar, Adam Ant, Boy George) at OneLouder Studios, the single was written with a hangover when Lauren realised she sent a drunken text to a guy the night before: https://soundcloud.com/laurenrichmusic/the-drink-talking

Impressively, the full EP was recorded around spells in hospital where Lauren was recently diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease. However, she made it a point of pride to continue with her work, not wanting to let people down seeing as the EP was paid for by her fans, who supported her through a successful crowd funding campaign.

It’s little wonder that she is turning so many heads. Having performed at prestigious London venues such as Proud in Camden and The Water Rats in Kings Cross, not to mention playing live during radio interviews with BBC London and BBC Three Counties, her knack for catchy, acoustic melodies is clearly catching on.

In the meantime, ‘The Same Sky’ EP and ‘The Drink Talking’ single are both released 29th September.
