Singer-songwriter Ryan Keen, a former Kevicc student, is coming home for Christmas for this heartfelt concert in the Ariel Centre. Ryan has spent the last 2 years touring the world with his album Room For Light, and supporting the likes of Ed Sheeran. Unsurprisingly he is now attracting the attention of some major record labels. This is a rare chance to see Ryan on his home turf, and in such an intimate setting.
The concert celebrates the life of Ryan’s old schoolfriend, Luke Chadwick, who was also a passionate musician and gifted drummer, as well as raising funds for Jamming Station, a brilliant Totnes-based project which brings young musicians together to meet, write and gig. “I'm looking forward to playing back at my old school, and really happy to be involved in fundraising gig for such a great cause,” says Ryan.
Jacqui Perks, founder of Jamming Station is thrilled to welcome Ryan back to Totnes for this special gig: "Ryan is Totnes's best kept secret! It'll be a great night and we will be showcasing some of our own talented young musicians as support.
KEVICC is delighted to host this very worthwhile fundraising gig.
