The new single from Glasgow's Alavano is available now via the band's Soundcloud profile on a free download.

Alavano are a Synth-rock band from Glasgow, Scotland.

“Sounds phenomenal, set to explode. It’s only a matter of time until Alavano receive universal acclaim."
Jim Gellatly - XFM & The Sun.

" Take Away The Pain is gorgeous, it made me feel emotional."
Janice Long - BBC Radio 2.

To date the band have been played on over 100 radio stations around the world, including airplay on XFM, BBC Radio 2 and Scotland's Clyde One.

Formed in 2013, Alavano have played some of Scotland's biggest and best venues, such as King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut, the main stage of The Barrowlands Ballroom, The Classic Grand and to a crowd of more than 7000 at the Glasgow Warrior’s home stadium.

Swept with a huge spectrum of sounds, Alavano songs exhibit impetuous production and a masterful correlation between Synth-rock anthems and Timeless pop ballads.

The architect of Alavano’s songwriting anatomy is their frontman, 24 year old Ocean Adams. With him are Stephen Brown, 24 (guitar), Alan "The General" Ferguson, 24 (synths), Tom Glasgow, 21 (bass) and Craig Harkness, 20 (drums).

With all these ingredients Alavano are set to detonate to mainstream success.

    Let Love Rule - Estranged

    Biography

Let Love Rule are a Scottish ambient or alt rock group born out of a name first coined by Lenny Kravitz in 1989, and the musical ideals of frontman Matthew Rhind.

All four members were students of music in Edinburgh when the band formed in spring of 2013, and within 6 months they found themselves in the final of Glasgow's Maryhill Burgh Halls Battle of the Bands.

Large influences on the band include Jeff Buckley, Deftones, and Counting Crows, and stylistically they hope to appeal to a diverse crowd.

On The Shore was the band's first single and video - shot by Barcelona based director Tom Hayton, and received acclaim from 'the voice of new music in Scotland' - Jim Gellatly.

Estranged will be the second and lead single, with both tracks to appear on their forthcoming debut EP - recorded in Edinburgh's renowned Chamber Studio and currently set for digital release on 10th November.

The EP is going to be an introduction to the versatility in the band's style, also featuring more alternative sounds to those in the singles, as they hope to draw attention from management and labels.

    EP Launch

The EP will first be available at our UV themed launch gig at The Mash House, Edinburgh on Friday 7th November. Support from Redolent and Dark Sky Park, tickets available from Tickets-Scotland.

Having already received exposure on a large number of radio stations, attention is growing at a huge rate both in the UK and the worldwide for The Kut.

After many years far from the world of music,  an episode in March 2014 took Alessio back closer to his passion of singing, the outcome being his new new single Any Love which has been described as being a Pop Dance song with shades of the 80’s.
Influenced by a number of acts such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, and Wham from his childhood days, you can find out further information on how you can purchase Alessio’s material along with more details on him by visiting his website www.facebook.com/alessiopopmusic or you can follow him on Twitter at www.twitter.com/alessio_off

Grunge rockers Allusondrugs, who are currently riding high with support from Radio 1, Xfm, Kerrang together with a huge number of media outlets across the UK, Europe and America have released a new single and video 'I Should Have Gone To Uni'.  The track is available as a free download through their SoundCloud page.

Allusondrugs burst onto the West Yorkshire music scene in 2012 and have quickly become one of the UK's most exciting and hotly tipped Alt-Rock acts.  Blistering appearances at Reading and Leeds festival this summer together with widespread airplay, online and print coverage are ensuting that Allusondrugs are attracting an ever growing army of fans with every new release

English band Rivertairs are on a voyage of musical discovery, channeling influences from rock n roll through to psychedelia to create what they describe as "a sonance of many colours".

Their musical odyssey began at Warth Mill in Saddleworth, Greater Manchester, where passion and persistency weaved together an exciting prospect.  The band found writing together came easily as they created songs containing vivacious vocals, whimsical guitar parts, punchy bass lines, shimmering keys, vintage beats and shaking tambourines.  These writing sessions led to the creation of their first three-track demo, 2013's Fools Parade.

A number of gigs around the north followed, which included a support slot for nineties Liverpool band Space and a show with the illustrious UK music promoters This Feeling, where the band gained praise from BBC Radio 6 Music presenter Chris Hawkins.

Early 2014 saw Rivertairs writing tirelessly to produce a catalogue of new music.  'Jack' is the first of these new songs to be released; a tongue in cheek vignette centred on the infamous Jack the Ripper.

Describing their new single, Rivertairs say 'Jack' will "pluck the strings of imagination and unfurl a contrasting spectrum of sound".

The band will release a video to accompany new single 'Jack' at one minute past midnight on 31st October 2014to celebrate Halloween.

'Jack' will be available as a free download from the band's website from November 10th 2014

New urban pop artist Halo releases ‘Highlights’ EP

Four song collection out now following Sept 15th release date

Nigerian born, London based Halo is a rapper with a confident urban pop sound. His brand new four song EP, ‘Highlights’, was released on September 15th.

The EP, full of upbeat melodies and soulful vocals, as well as some top class production, had one aim when Halo was writing it - enjoying all the many positives in life in a world which can be focussed on the negative. As Halo puts it himself:

‘Everyday is somebody’s birthday so there’s always a reason to turn the music up’.

However, in spite of the positive aims, this isn’t a sugary take on the urban genre, and Halo’s sound has a solid, grounded feel to it. For a taste of what he’s about check out 'Think About Me' taken from the EP here: https://soundcloud.com/itshalomusic/halo-think-about-me-1

Halo is also not new to the music business. His career until now has already seen him working on previous projects supporting the likes of Ludacris and receiving support from across the board, including from poles apart tastemakers Tim Westwood and Tom Robinson. He also featured on an unreleased Leona Lewis track, which goes to show he isn’t starting from scratch in a music industry which is often difficult to break.

But with this new EP, Halo is taking that reputation in the industry, and looking to build on it. Keep your eyes peeled for a new video on the way too, with a new clip in development for EP opening track ‘Think About Me’.

    ‘Highlights’ EP tracklisting:

    1. Think About Me
    2. Thats What I'm About
    3. Straight From the Bottle
    4. You Know the Rest

The ‘Highlights’ EP is available on iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, Amazon, Beats Music, Rdio, Deezer, Shazam! and Bandcamp.

Title : Who's Lovin' Me Now?
Format : 3 track EP - Digital Download
Label : 25 Hour Convenience Store
    Focus Date : November 10th 2014

Scottish singer / songwriter Kerri Watt unveils debut EP "Who's Lovin' Me Now?" releasing on 25 Hour Convenience Store ( Gary Powell - The Libertines ) record label. Impact Date - November 10th 2014.

The EP features 3 outstanding tracks, which includes 'Who's Lovin' Me Now?' - a very bright, wonderfully spirited pop track brimming with fine vocal harmonies and is undoubtedly one of the catchiest chorus hooks you'll hear this year..... not to mention 'PIRATE MAN' which is a beautifully crafted, bluesy and soulful composition produced by Ian Davenport who has been responsible for records over the years by Phil Selway of Radiohead, Dinosaur Pile Up, Supergrass, The Duke Spirit and much more. SO CRAZY closes out the EP, demonstrating the stripped down, bare to the bones qualities of Kerri Watt.

    About Kerri Watt.

Kerri was born and raised in Milngavie, just outside Glasgow. A music fan from an early age. Kerri has recently performed some amazing gigs including LA’s Whiskey A Go Go, Glastonbury, Dot-to-Dot Festival and Camden Rocks!

Kerri Watt has spent two years of solid gigging and playing open mic nights in and around Glasgow, numerous return trips to America, whilst constantly writing and recording demos. Thanks to a chance meeting in Ibiza with the head of Propaganda, Dan Ickowitz-Seidler, Kerri started to focus seriously on getting a deal. With Dan managing, Kerri was introduced to The Libertines drummer Gary Powell, who happened to be re-launching his record label - 25 Hour Convenience Store. After seeing Kerri perform, he offered her a deal on the spot and decided she’d be the perfect artist to re-launch his label. Kerri got to work on recording the EP and 3 months later, ‘Who’s Lovin’ Me Now’ was born.

Kerri Watt will follow this release up with her second EP set for release early next year, leading towards her debut album.

‘I’m just looking forward to finally getting my music out there,’ says Kerri. ‘I’ve been waiting for this all of my life.’

Tom Butler - On The Line - released October 27th

"Nobody can accuse Tom Butler of taking the easy route. After picking up his first guitar at 14, he soon made his move from Seattle to London, where he crafted his heart-felt sound over four years whilst holding down a full-time job.

The result? A story-telling musician who combines the big catchy choruses of The Lumineers with the authentically written ballads of John Mayer. It’s then delivered with a killer live performance that packs a real emotional punch.

Years later his hard work is finally starting to pay off. His debut EP ‘On the Line’ is due for radio re-release in October, he’s just received a PRS for Music Songwriting Prize and he’ll be performing on the VIP Stage at Glastonbury next year.

Watch out for Tom Butler – it’s a name you’re going to start hearing again and again."
