Bad Mary plays high-energy, danceable garage/pop-punk that's fast, loud, and fun!"

The third single from Acollective’s mesmeric second album, Pangaea, Breakapart is a reminder of what has been an incredible 2014 for them, and a taster of what’s to come… Locked for a UK tour next May, alongside a run of shows in Germany in February and the little matter of a homecoming show in front of 2,500 fans in Tel Aviv – this is a band to get excited about!
Formed in 2008, ACOLLECTIVE is a 7-piece band and social movement, fronted by Roy Rieck and Idan Rabinovici. The band's early shows became a weekly cult gathering in Tel-Aviv, and they were soon playing sold-out shows - establishing a loyal fan-base and gaining critical acclaim and extensive airplay in Israel – all this without any support or plan of any sort. Since 2009 they have toured all over Europe (playing the likes of Glastonbury, United Islands, Y NOT? TruckPentaport (Korea) and supporting Jose Gonzalez and Okkervil River), quickly earning a local following and a reputation for show-stopping concerts, wherever they are.
After a positive reception to Acollective's debut album - ONWARDS, produced by Chris Shaw (Bob Dylan, Super Furry Animals, Guillemots) - Acollective’snew album has set them on the road to something truly spectacular. Recorded after months of work in a make-shift factory-turned-rehearsal-wonderland (which was then “transported” to the studio so that the band could record the album in live takes) it led them to press adoration across Europe, saw a string of sold out shows and festivals in Israel, Germany, UK, Korea and across Europe

In spite of all of the album’s intricacies, a priority for the band was to maintain the essence of their environment so everything was recorded live. The mere mention of influences is enough to spark bloody violence within the band. Ask them who they listen to and they’ll tell you Sufjan Stevens, Beck, Paul Simon and Radiohead. Delve a little deeper and you’ll learn about their love of everything from Dixie Jazz, Japanese Pop and old-school hip-hop to modern-Arab-kitsch. What’s for sure is it works, and this is a collection of songs the likes of which have not been heard before.

As the band’s leader, Idan Rabinovicicryptically offers; “You must keep dancing even if the ground around you is shaking, safe in the belief that things must break apart and shatter in order to reconnect again.”

Binky Womack

Mentored and moulded by his Uncle; Bobby Womack and Cecil Womack, Binky Womack continues to keep music in the family through working his way up to being a top songwriter, musician, producer and remixer.
With his success many opportunities have come to remix records for everyone from Usher to Prince, as well as film and television scores and soundtracks.  After writing and producing for a string of artists from his studio in California, Binky Womack now returns with his new solo track Sunday Morning.

The 1957 Tail-Fin Fiasco with their amazing offering: Cruise Control, from the album "Private Jet Flashback" which is available on CD or to download from Bandcamp.com

“Great tune –with the band in total control” (Tom Robinson –BBC 6 Music)

The duo are from Essex.

Biography:

America was gearing up for the sixties. Little Richard screeched his way to the top with 'Lucille' and Elvis had 9 hits in a row. Jack Kerouac penned his immortal novel 'On The Road', inspiring Americans to seek the promised land, and Harley Earl designed the most beautiful automobile the world would ever see...the year was 1957.

By 1960 the tail-fin was all but extinct.

In 2013 Harley Earl appeared to us in a dream. The vision of Harley was as clear as his message:

Create melody and meaning that will allow the human race to move freely and without drag...

Be aerodynasmic.

Be The 1957 Tail-Fin Fiasco

“This is amazing” (Chris Difford -Squeeze)

“The 1957 Tail-Fin Fiascothrows out complex, sophisticated story-song style rock...sounding like 'Pretzel Logic' era Steely Dan. The lyrics bear the mordant wit that was the hallmark of a certain kind of songwriting in the mid to late 70's. A quality album” (The Modern Folk Music Of America)

“As camp as Adam West’s Batman and musically crisp...they might be too smart for their own good. Somehow I don’t think this bothers the band one bit.”(bucketfulofnails.com)

“A short burst of brilliance, not to be missed by aficionados of mid-seventies inspired pop/rock”(Real Gone Rocks)

Sacred Wind - Fart for Odin. Available for download now..

"Fun, heavy stuff! Manowar meets Spinal Tap" - Steel 93 Radio, USA.

"Hellish Funny!" says Big Jim from TheRockShow.co.uk

"It’s like Iron Maiden meets South Park! There are some brilliant lines in there, it makes it twice as funny with it being done in such a serious epic way, it’s musically awesome. Love it" - Chris Straw, Bauer Media Group.

"Get them a co headliner with Alestorm!" - Mark, Frome FM.

Imagine Black Adder, Shrek, Douglas Adams, Monty Python, Terry Pratchett, David Eddings and Spinal Tap meeting for a few pints of fine ale and a good game of charades…

Welcome to the world of Sacred Wind, a tale set in an alternative reality, featuring conscious curries, headbanging sheep, telepathic cats, magic cheese, an evil Baron, some very sexy faeries, and a Welsh Viking Rock band!!!! There are 4 Sacred Wind books as well as the Sacred Wind album.

Check author Andy Coffey's profile here: www.smashwords.com/profile/view/andycoffey99

(Prayer from Fart for Odin)

‘Odin I beseech thee, accept my gift of wind,
It’s from the heart of my bottom,
It’s a gift I won’t rescind,
I fart for all your glory; I fart for all your might,
Give me the strength to not follow through,
And I’ll fart for you; I’ll fart for you all night.’

Sometimes there are tales that must be told and sometimes the spirit of these great adventures, heroic deeds and songs of glory our powerful enough to touch the hearts, ears and nostrils of the gods. And so it is with Sacred Wind!!

It’s safe to say that the last thing Aiden Peersey expected when he began his trip to Llangollen was to move between realities and meet a bunch of Welsh Vikings who played in a rock band called Sacred Wind. It’s also safe to say that the technology geek and part‐time sound engineer didn't expect to be catapulted into a quest to win a music tournament, to save the faerie queen and to win freedom for their land!! Nevertheless, that’s exactly what happened…

Transported to an alternative reality by the Navigation App on his quantum computer‐ powered Smart Phone, Aiden discovered a land ruled by the evil Baron Blacktie, who had banned heavy metal!!! As if all that wasn't enough to contend with, he soon joined Sacred Wind and The Companions of Wind on their perilous journey to win the Cestrian Music Tournament!

Against all the odds Sacred Wind dealt Baron Blactie a heavy metal hammer blow to win the tournament and in the process they breathed fresh life into metal! The results of this triumph is Sacred Winds eponymous debut album. Taken from the album is the title track Sacred Wind, both are available to buy from all good online retailers now!!

Sacred Wind is:

Olaf the Berserker – Lead Vocals/Lead Guitars
Grundi the Windy – Lead Guitars/Backing Vocals
Smid the Merciless – Bass Guitar/Backing Vocals
Agnar the Hammered – Drums and Percussion

'From the band that brought you "Metal and Curry", steel your ears for the power and majesty that is Sacred Wind's tribute to the King of the Norse Gods, "Fart For Odin". Never has metal been so mighty... or so flatulent.'

Oldfart Olafson says:

'It may well be true to say that "Fart For Odin" is Sacred Wind's "Bohemian Rhapsody"... and both songs do contain references to wind...'
