Written, performed, produced and mixed by 22 year-old Caleb Shomo, Disgustingshares equal inspiration with brutal metalcore as with old-school punk like The Ramones and the bombastic theatricality of Queen. The end result is a back-to-basics hardcore stomp interspersed with anthemic choruses that resulted in numerous year-end superlatives: #3 Most Essential Album of 2014 (Alternative Press), #2 Album of the Year (Rock Sound), #5 Album of the Year (Kerrang), #13 Song of the Year “In Between” (Kerrang), #6 Album of the Year (Big Cheese), Best New International Band (Big Cheese), #24 Album of the Year (Metal Hammer).
Beartooth has recently been nominated for three Alternative Press Music Awards, for Breakthrough Band, Song of the Year and Album of the Year and they have been nominated for a Metal Hammer Golden God award in the UK for Best New Band.
The five-piece spent summer 2014 on the Vans Warped Tour and have been playing constantly since, with the likes of Sleeping with Sirens, Pierce the Veil and Silverstein, even returning to their roots on a string of house show dates through the mid-west. Next up Beartooth will play venerable rock fests Welcome to Rockville, Carolina Rebellion and Rock on the Range before heading to the UK for a headline run and a slot at Slam Dunk Festival. At the end of May they will play Australia for the first time on a tour with In Hearts Wake and We Came as Romans before crisscrossing the globe once more for UK’s Download Festival and then returning home for the entire length of the Vans Warped Tour 2015.

SHOSHIN will release brand new single “PLAN C” on MAY 18th, the first single taken from their new album “Epiphanies And Wastelands”,collaboratively worked on by James Kenosha ( Pulled Apart By Horses, Dinosaur Pile Up, Grammatics ) and Chris Sheldon
( Foo Fighters, Pixies, Heaven’s Basement ).
“Pools of Battery Acid, Noise Pollution, Arrests, Police Brutality, Jail Cells, Fines, Impounded Amps, Tinned Food Survival, Endless Street Shows from Country to Country and Tens of Thousands of DIY albums sold under the radar.”
SHOSHIN are a highly unique rock trio from the city of Manchester who have gone about building their loyal fan base with a very different approach to what average convention would usuallysuggest of a new band wanting to get out there. SHOSHIN’s sound was essentially born and raised on the street and they have spent lotsof time over the past few years setting up and playing street showsjust about anywhere possible to reach a wider audience. Guerilla gigs are SHOSHIN’s signature and they’ve played hundreds of shows from country to country in mainland Europe, UK and the USA. They’ve also paid the price for their art along the way too, with local authorities impounding their gear on many occasions and in several cases, they’ve been thrown in a Jail cell. At a recently devised guerilla performance at Eurosonic Noordenslaag festival in Holland, they earned the unofficial title of “ the most successful band of the festival” by the Dutch music press, after pitching up to play for 7 hours straight in the snow, winning fans and selling hundreds of records.
Their love and approach for playing live this way has taken them to many places, playing to thousands of people, selling DIY records by the box load and helped SHOSHIN develop into a must see live band. It wasn’t until they took to the streets of Brighton one year to perform The Great Escape Festival, where they were discovered by 7HZ Recordings & Jaba Music Management who signed them to their label instantly. Now with a new album in the bag titled “Epiphanies And Wastelands”, worked on by iconic producers Chris Sheldon and James Kenosha, SHOSHIN prepare to bring their bigand unique sound to the further masses. “Plan C” is the first offering and will be released on May 18th through 7Hz Recordings. The Album announcement will follow.
