M-22 UNVEIL THEIR HOT NEW TRACK ‘GOOD TO BE LOVED’
RELEASED ON OCTOBER 16 THROUGH CAROLINE INTERNATIONAL
Watch the video now: http://po.st/GTBLYT
M-22 have unveiled their brand new track ‘Good To Be Loved’, a blissed-out vocal smash, perfect for the summer sun. The track shows off M-22’s songwriting expertise, as well as their signature impeccable house production.
The British-German duo burst onto the scene in April with the uplifting piano-led anthem ‘Some Time’. The track has been getting massive support from the likes of The Magician, Roger Sanchez, GRADES, Beth Yen and Tiesto.
Sarah-Jane Crawford made it her Record of the Week on Radio 1Xtra,and the track has been steadily climbing the club charts, so far gaining over a quarter of a million streams on Spotify and Soundcloud.
M-22 are Matt James and Frank Sanders. The two producers became friends in 2014 and have been busy creating hit after hit since.
Matt James started his career as a DJ at the age of 14, and within two years he made his club debut, playing alongside the likes of Pete Tong, Roger Sanchez and Erick Morillo. When word of his productions spread, Ministry of Sound signed him up as a writer/producer and he was responsible for hits by H two O among others. Frank Sanders’ producer career includes credits for the likes of Jason Derulo and Amanda Wilson, as well as a host of huge hits in Germany.
Gorilla Punch Radio, an exciting new alternative rock band from Leeds, are proud to announce the release of their debut single ‘No Retreat’.
After touring extensively in support of artists such as The Struts, The Pigeon Detectives and New City Kings with his former band Titans Troubadours, guitarist and singer Paul James decided to pursue his own sound and formed Gorilla Punch Radio in late 2014.
Mixed by the acclaimed engineer/producer Elliot Vaughan, whose previous clients include: Pulled Apart by Horses, Frank Turner and They Fell From The Sky, ‘No Retreat’ kicks off with an explosive guitar riff that’s sure to have fans banging their heads and punching the air.
The song’s theme focuses around the gritty realities of standing up in the face of seemingly overwhelming odds, with lyrics that are designed to inspire courage and a refusal to back down.
“We’re really excited about this song as it has taken a while to craft and perfect. Elliot has successfully captured the energy of Gorilla Punch Radio in this recording, and we can’t wait to share it with everybody!” – Paul James of Gorilla Punch Radio.

Back in the mid to late eighties The Train Set emerged from the Crewe/Winsford indie music scene to make an impact on the Manchester and Liverpool gig circuit as well as the national music press. The band released two 12" singles which both broke the Indie Chart and performed at venues across the country including gigs at Dingwalls, the Astoria in London and Manchester's Hacienda.
The nucleus of the band, Clive Jones (vocals), Andy Boote (guitars) and Mark Shaw (Bass) met at school. They recruited Adam Halford (drums) from Winsford and Dave Hassall from Chester (keyboards) and soon became the tight unit that was eventually signed by renowned Manchester DJ Dave Haslam to his Playhard label.
Briefly managed by Nathan McGough, also manager of The Happy Mondays, the band embarked on a national tour with the Happy Mondays and supported the likes of James at the London Astoria. They were featured in both the NME and Melody Maker through interviews and features by Stuart Maconie and Robin Denslow.
Compilation album 'Never California', released on Firestation Records, features The Train Sets highly sought after singles including 'She's Gone' which was the band's first record, recognised as a stunning debut by the press and selected as NME's single of the week when it was originally released in 1988. Writing in NME, James Brown said "The Train Set have done their growing up in private and will now have no trouble copping off with the entire teenage nation of orphaned Smiths fans". Stuart Maconie described Shes Gone as "sleek and shiny, fizzy and witty", predicting "The Train Set will be huge when the world sees sense". Well, whilst we wait for the world to take heed, immerse yourself in these finely crafted songs and enjoy a band that made a significant impact on the music scene amongst the abundant indie/jangle bands of that era.
This compliation contains previously unreleased tracks from a band that had promised so much but disappeared far too soon. The original members have come together to oversee the release of this retrospective album, providing a vital listening experience and an opportunity to discover The Train Sets material again, or perhaps for the first time.

'Growing Younger' is the new single from Indie-pop band Wilhem Tell Me, who hail from Hamburg and Copenhagen. Los Angeles, May 2014, sixteen degrees Celsius and overcast It's fairly early in the morning. Henning, singer of indie pop band Wilhelm Tell Me, removes his sunglasses; he's not in town for sightseeing anyway. Stalfors invited Henning into his studio two days previously... The cell phone is connected to the speakers and the demo plays. Lars listens intensely, and then, "Ok... wow These songs are awesome. They've really got something! The two decide to work together on an EP. Just a few months later the record, containing five songs, is released under the title 'A Short Story For the Road'. NUA ENTERTAINMENT RELEASE: 28thAUGUST 2015
Watch the new video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OutJ1S4AhE
Pete’s debut EP features: Lead track Idolsan upbeat satire on societies obsession with celebrity. Doorstep Riots observations on life, being broke, the complacency of society & growing up living in Belfast. Angel Faces, definitely a love song and Just Like You a real heart breaker!
It would be great to hear your feedback on this!
Pete Gardiner is a singer songwriter from Newtownards in Northern Ireland. He’s had a passion for music since the age of 6 when he first heard Slash play the opening three chords of "Knockin’ on Heavens Door". He got his first guitar when he was thirteen and developed a serious passion for rock music as only young teen boys can!
Pete is a true and clever lyricist, it’s in his blood. He writes about his circumstances at any given moment, his relationships with people, doomed romances, news stories that hit him hard and pretty much any thought that comes into his head. His music is strongly influenced by his idols; Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Bruce Springsteen. As his talents have matured he says of Dylan and Cohen “They are both as endearing as each other, they can take you as far as you are willing to go and then drag you that little bit further and I learn more and more from them everyday”.
For many of his early years Pete worked as a cashier in a bank, playing gigs around local bars at the weekends while also recording a few EP's, which gained a lot of local airplay on regional BBC stations. Then, discovered by a radio network in the UK, he was signed by, entrepreneur Neil Utley’s label NUA Entertainment, which is chaired by Grammy winner Paul Hardcastle. Pete has just finished recording his debut album with award winning Irish producer Tommy McLaughlin (Villagers/ Soak) mastered at Abbey Road and has moved to London, performing nightly on the London club scene where he has been gigging every night for the past few months crafting his art of performance and excellent song-smithery.
Pete will be joining the London Mayor’s office to spearhead their ’London Busking’ event, which takes place in July. He will form part of a panel of experts to mentor new artists and will perform on stage in Trafalgar Square on July 18th in front of hundreds of people attending this event. He will also be recording for Bob Harris’s ‘Under The Apple Tree’ sessions in July.
Following some session work with Stevie V of 'Dirty Cash' fame, the band were invited to perform in his own BlueBass Studios where he has begun producing the band's material.
The latest result is Black Smoke Symphony's new single Wait All Night which has been described as having a smooth modern edge, biting licks and a classic Country Rock sound.
Details on how you can purchase this along with additional information on Black Smoke Symphony can be found on their website www.blacksmokesymphony.com or you can follow them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/blacksmokesymphony
After moving to the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia in 2006 which was home to a thriving music community DeAnna began performing regularly at the infamous Wild Bistro. Upon finding her talent warmly received she made the decision to give up her full time job and concentrate on her music.
The buzz being created around DeAnna soon caught the attention of Creative & Dreams Fred Cannon who decided to record an album of some of her songs with the help of producer Paul Buono; the end result being her album Second Chance - Songs I Wrote With You.
Syron – ‘Talking Crazy’ (Radio edit, Original, AM 2 PM, DJQ)
Following Syron’s glorious comeback with new single “All I Need”, the pop starlet continues her string of smashes with “Talking Crazy”.
“All I Need” was the first piece of new material we’d heard from Syron in a while and instantly assured fans that South East London’s favorite dance-pop chanteuse was back and sounding fresher than ever. A silky smooth blend of laid-back R&B and garage enhanced by twinkling synths, a thumping bassline and Syron’s honeyed vocals it received support from MistaJam, Target, Majestic at KISS and Rinse FM. A finely crafted pop tune, “All I Need” is already ruling dance-floors and festival DJ sets this summer.
Her new singles come following a creative break in LA, but that’s not to say Syron’s music isn’t still buzzing with her distinctly UK sound. “Talking Crazy” is another gem to add to her growing discography; a rich, addictive pop song that’s got a vibrant 90s house vibe. Syron deftly adapts her rebellious girl power persona onto a danceable deep house and garage-inspired banger that oozes confidence and attitude.
Having collaborated with the likes of Tensnake, MNEK and Rudimental, Syron is now signed to London based Fame Music. On “Talking Crazy” we have Majestic - creator of super-juicy house cut “Creeping In The Dark” - displaying the talents of his production chops, with Offset and One Bittaking care of remix duties.
With her killer new tunes and party Riot Grll attitude the world is now ready to fall in love with Syron all over again.
Their underground appreciation is growing with Tinie Tempah blogging about them and features already on tastemaker sites such as SBTV, Pardon My Blog, Reload Sessions, Dropout UK and more.
It’s little surprise that they already have support within the industry, with Emeli Sande, and Ed Sheeran who after speaking on Twitter, treated them to a cheeky Nandos to discuss future opportunities, share advice and has remained a fan ever since!
They're releasing new single Touch Down on August 24th taken from their upcoming EP of the same name, coming later in the year.
Beyond The Break’s debut EP ‘Pictures Of Losing Sleep’ is out on 4thSept on 2P Records. The interesting thing about it, was it was all recording live to tape, preserving quality and will be released on Vinyl with track ‘The Way It Was’ racking up over 25,000 organic plays on Spotify already.
If you can check out their video for ‘The Way It Was’ from it here and let me know what you think, that’d be great- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBW5Vvd2b4s

Lay Z is under the BBK camp these days and performed at the last Red Bull Soundclash, as well as going along to Jamaica where the guys filmed their documentary and video for Shakey. Complex picked up the audio premiere of 'Thats What I'm On' and the video dropped via SBTV last week and has already racked up over 65K views https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wO4qysZry7Q
You will recognise the 26-year old MC from one of the most memorable clashes on Lord Of The Mics with Marger, where Lay Z won based on his lyrics and no holds barred approach. However he doesn’t like to talk about it anymore just stating that he ‘JA Ruled him’. He went on to work a lot with BBK performing at Fabric where the crowd knew every word of his lyrics.
The talented emcee can also sing and is currently working on an RnB project. So look out for more Lay Z music coming your way in 2015!
