HORSE PARTY

‘What Do You Need’ is the new single by Horse Party, 2 girls and 1 boy from Bury St Edmunds Rock City.
Horse Party got together in September 2012 after a night spent drinking in a church. Bonding over a shared love of Bjork, Savages, Daughter and terrible movies, the threesome hatched a simple plan: Firstly, in blanded-out times, to release records that sound like no-one else. Secondly, to either make or lose a million pounds.

A free download in January 2013 led to support offers with alt-stars Tunng, Pinkunoizu, Heartless Bastards, Shonen Knife, Dingus Khan and Vuvuvultures and a live broadcast via BBC Introducing from the new John Peel Centre for Creative Arts.  April 2013 saw the release of debut single, ‘Back To Mono’, followed by live EP ‘Scarlet & Blue’.

“Brilliant ... the pale, dead hand of Patti Smith on the tiller and the pop nous of XTC” Unpeeled

“cohesive, brazen and delightfully noisy”  Bearded Magazine

“Sounding like The White Stripes playing Fugazi covers with Beth Ditto ... the band have bucket loads of potential”            God Is In The TV

‘What Do You Need’, their first single for UK independent Integrity Records, is out on 11th November 2013.  Horse Party’s debut album, ‘Cover Your Eyes’, will follow in the new year.

The Tuesday Club

Described as ‘Dad's Army Spacerock, futurised revisionism and born at various junctures between 1957 and 1984, the age range and experience encased within this mysterious 8 piece, would put many of today's more established reformers to shame. Reaction to their debut single ‘Dolly Dynamite’ this summer was huge. From widespread critical acclaim to Q Radio plays the music media were pretty much on board the good ship Tuesday Club from the off. The icing on the cake for their debut year? An exclusive Loaded TV set recorded at the end of 2012 and broadcast in the Morecambe and Wise slot on Boxing day, well what did you expect?

“A cheeky little tune” Q Radio

“If you want music with a bit of a spark, a ton of swagger and a heap of fun I suggest you join me in signing up to The Tuesday Club” Rhythm & Booze

“Flippin’ wonderful. Probably the shortest review I have ever written but it really says it all – I will repeat; Flippin’ Wonderful!” Andy Snipper – musicnews.com

“This is clever while staying absolutely exuberant, and The Tuesday Club are one of the most exciting acts I’ve heard all year.” AAA Music

“If Roxy Music were doing the Rocky Horror show, they'd sound like this” - Steve Honest

"It's all about the music, we are deadly serious about our commitment to each other, but that certainly doesn't mean we can't do it with a smile". enthuses front man Andreas Vanderbraindrain. "There's too much pomposity, too much sucked in cheek blue steel ethic, especially in London . The Tuesday Club just play for the love and the joy, we set our phasers on FUN and go for it, it's time for ‘New’ Glamour... that's where 6ft chanteuse The Minx comes in darlings… ‘GLAMOUR with a capital G’

The whole band have a look and style that falls somewhere between The Rocky Horror show, Oh Boy!, Carry on Screaming, a BBC period drama and Dad’s Army. The Tuesday’s certainly give off a refreshing air of who cares, which has got to be worth something in today’s dark days of austerity!

The Tuesday Club are: Glabrous Fabulous - Thud Bass, Wasabi Penis - Heavy Lead, The Beautiful Wolf - Twang Bass, Andreas Vanderbraindrain – Vocals, Tittybar Telski -drums, The Minx -Vocals and Cowbell, J-Rod - Jangle lead,
Jerry Berry - Keys

Killaflaw - 'Broken Idol'

Liverpool based rock ‘n’ rave duo Killaflaw, release 'Broken Idol EP', on legendary independent label Wall Of Sound.
Named after a track by the late, great American bluesman Howlin’ Wolf, Benn Helm (singer/guitarist) and Andy Paton (electronics), better known as Killaflaw, skilfully fuse blues & rock ‘n’ roll with beats & dance music into a sound which has been described loosely as “Led Zep meet the Chemical Brothers”, “the missing link between Soundgarden and The Prodigy” and “a kind of 21st century Doors”.
With recent backing from Mark Jones, who signed the band to his label ‘Wall Of Sound’ with his very own flesh and blood at the end of 2012, this duo “have the passion, the soul, the raw power and the tunes. They’re gonna be massive.” DJ magazine.
Lead track ‘Broken Idol’, which focuses on the trappings of fame and the perils of post-Savile hero worship, is a pure electro-rock banger, fusing enormous revving electro riffs and New Order flourishes. “’Broken Idol’ is your classic tale of an egomaniac rock star, living life to excess, leading to an eventual downward spiral and inevitable self-destruction,” says Benn. “Hence the title, the idea came from a friend of mine talking about having your illusions shattered if and when you meet your idols.”
Killaflaw show their true diversity in sound with ‘Milk & Whiskey’ the slower of the two, which allows Benn’s husky blues voice to come into its own. “’Milk & Whiskey’ came about while on a writing session in Ibiza,” Benn explains. “While recovering from the night-before’s frivolities, I was reading about old blues singers and how they would drink milk and whiskey to line their stomachs. I thought, ‘What a way to cure what ails you!’ Definitely a song in there somewhere – ha ha.”
Techno twosome the DPPLGNGRS inject Killaflaw's lead track ‘Broken Idol’ with a healthy dose of electro drums, transforming it into a supercharged techno beast. Meanwhile Darin McFadyen, better known as FreQ Nasty, shapes Benn’s blues vocals through a Daft Punk-style vocoder, managing to turn the once innocent ‘Milk & Whiskey’ into a perfectly formed trap/dancehall banger, which wouldn’t feel out of place in his favourite stomping ground, London’s Fabric.

James Kirby who is based in, England.

Currently on tour in Spain where he has been holding audiences regardless of age with his beautiful and melodic songs and unique style of guitar playing, the future is looking extremely bright for James Kirby.
Having already performed alongside the likes of Labrinth, Matt Cardle, Pendulum, and The Hoosiers to name but a few, it is expected you will be hearing even more from James Kirby following the recent release of his EP, Distance Between which is now available to purchase via all major download stores.

Ofei - 'London' is released on the 25th November 2013!
When you begin your year opening for Kendrick Lemar in Paris and Shuggie Otis in New York, you know you are off to a good start. Such was the fortune of Ofei who subsequently spent the summer drawing curious crowds to his one man appearances at UK festivals like The Great Escape, Best Kept Secret, Beacons and Secret Garden Party. Writing, arranging and producing himself, until now, Ofei has elected to set out his stall with the music alone (also check out the mixtape links below), his public reticence - to date he has never done an interview – helping create a certain mysterious ethos around him.
Several months on from the appearance of new material, a startling new track ‘Tomorrow’ suddenly dropped in mid-September. Picked up by major international blogs (Dummy, DIY, Planet Notion, Disco Naivite, etc) in a matter of minutes, it follows earlier tune ‘Fate’ into the blogosphere, each revealing a little more of Ofei’s personality.
The video premiere can be seen at Planet Notion.
This is Ofei's first official release, ‘The London EP’ - comprising ‘London’, ‘Fate’, ‘Tomorrow’, ‘Poem’ & ‘Risk’ - via One Little Indian on 25th November as a limited edition 12” and free download.
Previously performing live as a one-man show, Ofei unveils his full band with a free show at The Waiting Room on Thursday 28th November. Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
A dynamic mix of R’n’B, distorted soul and unearthly gospel, Ofei’s style feels incredibly fresh and original, ‘The London EP’ a manifestation of an unorthodox and unpredictable talent at work.

Dead Frequency
are a four piece Glam - Punk band. They were formed by founding member vocalist/guitarist and songwriter Matti Fantasi in Exeter in 2003. 2013 was a turn around year for Dead Frequency and a starting point for elevating their career

Exit State -This Part Of Me"
It's taken from their "Let's See It All" album, which was recorded in January 2013. Produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Matt Elliss at Axis Studios, Doncaster, UK.
The song is about that little area of self-doubt that people in most walks of life have in the back of their mind, yet self-doubt is the last thing in the thoughts of Exit State members Roy Bright, Peat Hicks, Phil Ireland and Matt Harris.
New live date added: Exit State are supporting GUN on 12th December at Manchester, Deaf Institute.
This band has been on the crest of a wave during the past couple of years through a series of support slots with Reckless Love, Andy Cairns (Therapy?), Zico Chain, Black Spiders and most famously a UK tour with Michael Schenker epitomised by a startling performance at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire.
Third album "Let's See It All" is the culmination of hard work both on the live circuit and in the studio, prompting these 9/10 album review comments from Powerplay.. "There were mutterings about them being something special.. now they've delivered.. deserves to be in the charts, nestling with the likes of Alter Bridge".
Hailing from East Lancashire, Exit State released debut album "Death Of A Rockstar" in 2010, quickly followed by "Black Veins" in 2011. Performances at Hard Rock Hell in North Wales and also in Ibiza, together with landmark appearances at SOS Festival in UK and Wizzfest in Belgium, also helped establish the band.
They were also buoyed by a no.1 slot for their "Lost Beyond Belief" music video on Kerrang TV.
Upon appointment as official patrons of chART - Children's Hospice Arts, the band celebrated with the May 2013 release of the "Crystalline" single (also from the "Let's See It All" album) with proceeds donated to the said charity and at which point Exit State were proud to be championed by both Bumblefoot of Guns n Roses and Wayne Findlay of Michael Schenker Group.
Exit State will return to the live circuit in 2014 with festivals and tours in planning for both UK and Europe.
