Johnny Cooper who is based in Texas, USA.

Previously promoted by Deuce in April 2012 to much critical acclaim, Johnny Cooper now returns with his new EP titled Red Sessions which was funded by fans and friends.
Quoted as being Texas music served on a bed of Red Dirt and a force of nature, Johnny Cooper has been winning plaudits all across the US as a result of his heavy gig schedule which averages 200 shows each year.  This also helped contribute to his debut album Ignition selling over 25,000 copies and seeing four of the tracks climbing the Texas Music Charts.
With a large number of recordings under his belt and two tracks included on the soundtrack for independent movie Deep In The Heart, at the age of 24 Johnny Cooper has already accomplished more than many musicians twice his age, and with radio stations already picking up on his new EP, it is likely you will be hearing more from him over the coming months.
Details on how you can purchase his material along with details on forthcoming gig dates can be found on his website www.johnnycooper.com or you can follow him on Facebook at www.facebook.com/johnnyrcooper

Indie pop outfit Puppet Rebellion are preparing to launch two new singles to radio, ‘Pirouette’ and ‘Chemical Friends’.
The five-piece fresh from the robust Manchester music scene will release the pair as part of their new EP, ‘No Means Yes.'
The band, which formed in 2013, includes lead singer and writer Simon, guitarists Paul and Craig, as well as bassist James and drummer Chris.
‘Pirouette’ is primarily a guitar based, feisty and traditional indie rock track while ‘Chemical Friends’ takes an electronic approach to the genre, thanks to a remix from Cai Caslavinieri.
Despite their clear differences, both make a radio-friendly and charting-potential endeavour, oozing with addictive hooks and universal appeal.
Production is down to a tee - lead singer Simon is able to cast an unexampled and paramount vocal into the mix, giving Puppet Rebellion their entirely unique sound.
They were chosen by Manchester City Football Club for the ‘Goal of the Month’ feature - a compilation of the club’s best goals uploaded to tens of thousands of fans every month with the backing track of their selected band.
Having amassed an army of fans in their local scene, the Puppets are now seeking chart success - and critics are extremely excited.
Music bloggers City Life said: "Their relentless riffs, tight rhythms and fervent vocals ooze the stomping potential that could easily find you raucously jerking your way round an indie club dancefloor.
“Move over Bloc Party and Interpol, theres a new guitar sensation in town!"
Hooting and Howling Magazine said: “Their heady blend of no-nonsense indie pop and intelligent lyricism propels the band above and beyond the confines of their local scene and upholds a distinct universality to their music that belies the relatively short space of time the band have been together.
“Definitely an act to keep your eye on over the next 12 months"
U & I Magazine said: “The intelligent and sharp lyricism combined with a fresh take on a well-trodden genre make Puppet Rebellion one of the most exciting acts to emerge from Manchester in 2013, and with their live shows doing nothing to hamper their reputation it's clear that the band have absolutely no intention of slowing down their ascent to the top of their game”

Danny McLauchlan who is based in London, England.

Having been writing and playing music from the age of 12 and since going on to play in various local bands and projects which included performing in the same youth club The Cure used to play in, Danny McLauchlan has now branched out further by going solo and releasing his debut solo EP Drop In The Ocean.
The EP was recorded, mixed and mastered in a cabin in his parents back garden where he played all the instruments on the track himself, as well as designing the artwork for it too.  It has since gone on to receive much acclaim and he has been quoted as being a name to look out for in 2014.

INTRODUCING: INHERIT THE STARS

'their debut album is a jewel in their crown that could see them on their way to global domination' - Metal Mouth 9.5/10

'ITS have the potential to tear the post-hardcore genre wide apart' - ElectricHarmonyReviews

'the potential to be my favourite discovery of 2013 already' - Loud Stuff

Breaking out onto the music scene in late 2012 with a style that's completely their own, Sheffield (UK) born and bred quintet Inherit The Stars are an explosion of sound that should not be missed. With all five members already being well-aquainted with the stage, their live shows ooze energy, creating an impressive gigging experience. Listing some of their major influences as bands such as Fightstar, Funeral For A Friend, Enter Shikari and Chiodos, Inherit The Stars are most recognisable for their powerful riffs, lulling string arrangements, adrenaline-filled synth lines and anthemic choruses.
Boasting a debut album produced/mixed by Jim Pinder at Treehouse Studio (Fightstar, Rise To Remain, While She Sleeps), 'We Were Made To Walk The Skies' was digitally released in May 2013 and earned positive attention from rock/metal critics for their genre pushing sound which takes elements of post-hardcore and alternative rock gelled with metalcore and a dose of punk pop. Equally championed by alternative rock and metal press and radio around the world, Inherit The Stars released three video singles as part of their apocalyliptic themed Orbis Trilogy. In the space of a few months, Inherit The Stars' fast rising popularity has taken them from the smallest of venues to headling Sheffield's 02 Academy for the launch of their latest single 'Ground Zero'
Intent on making their mark on musical history, impressive and innovative things can be expected from this young band, who dare to deliver music with a message. With plans for further releases and to bring their explosive sound to venues across the UK, Inherit The Stars have the sheer ambition, commitment and creativity to climb to further heights of recognition. With a Jan 2014 UK Tour already under their belt, Inherit The Stars shall be touring this summer in support of a new EP release. Already gaining interest from established management & record labels, 2014 is set to be an even bigger year for one of Britian's hotly tipped new rock acts.
Inherit The Stars are Daniel Jeffery (Vox), Theo Egginton (Guitar/Vox), Chris Brayshaw (Guitar), Lewis Wild (Bass) and Jordan Rabjohn (Drums)

IAN PROWSE

Ian has described the song as “a real Liverpool song for a real Liverpool girl” and is about the day his baby daughter Rosalita was christened in St Nicks, the sailors’ church by the city’s Pier Head. Not exactly a religious man, Ian squared it with himself by imagining that she was being baptised in the Mersey, that and the fact that they took her straight to the Cavern afterwards for a “rock ‘n’ roll” ceremony.

God and Man is being released simultaneously with the new album, appropriately enough on St Patrick’s Day, 17th March. On the same day, Ian will perform at the Knitting Factory, NYC for Liverpool Sound City.

Who Loves Ya Baby follows on from the success of The Best of Ian Prowse, a compilation of his work with the band’s Pele and Amsterdam, which was released to critical acclaim in 2012. This new album sees Ian cut loose as a solo artist and features twelve brand new songs, all perfectly showcasing his considerable talents as a songwriter and performer par excellence.

“An absolute triumph, I've played it four times on the trot already”
(Miles Hunt - The Wonder Stuff)

“The man who gave us the classic Does this train stop on Merseyside does it again”   (Elvis Costello)

“An epic album, 9/10!”  (Ian McNabb)

“He sure knows how to pen a proper song this fella, the music shines”
(Christy Moore)

Ian Prowse, often called the “Scouse Springsteen”, is best known for his work as main man with the groups, Pele (1990s) and the 7-piece group, Amsterdam (2000s). One of his most famous songs, Amsterdam’s  Does This Train Stop On Merseyside, was a huge favourite of the late DJ John Peel – he featured the song on his last ever Festive Fifty and it has been well documented that it often reduced him to tears on air. The song has gone on to be covered by many others, including Christy Moore, Miles Hunt and Ian McNabb.

In recent years, Ian Prowse has completed a couple of degrees, “just for the hell of it” and the album is, in part, inspired by his degree in Modern History and Masters in Irish music, for which he wrote his thesis on Iris Music. He has also become a father for the first time.

Who Loves Ya Baby will be supported by a series of live dates in the UK, spanning March through May. The shows will be a mix of solo appearances alongside shows with Amsterdam, with whom he still performs.

BERNACCIA

Blending atmosphere, fiction and truth into their lyrically captivating music which tells tales of troubled souls, emancipation and the well trodden road, all nailed to the floor by the blues. Their official debut single Armada weaves Blues, Roots and Indie to create a audio brew of fine musical ingredients.

After the critical success of The Keeper , released last year the bands follow up No Club saw them gain more new fans in the media and earned support slots with Wolf People, Twisted Wheel and Royal Blood.

Armada is the first of a single a month sequence starting this as part the bands Cinema release trilogy. Each track will be connected to a piece of exclusive artwork that will be available as an early bird exclusive to the first eager listeners of the debut download Armada. The main focus of the release will be the centre track Circuit Ryder which will also be accompanied by a video from Melting Point Media. All videos and tracks will then be shown at a premiere at a secret venue to be announced very soon.

“For a lot of bands round these parts, the sound of The Brian Jonestown Massacre is a lot like the clitoris. They spend a lot of time going after it, but despite bragging heartily about it in interviews and being told by their pals they’re bang on, they’ve never actually been anywhere near it. But for Bernaccia, I can report with panting glee that they’ve not only found it, but they know exactly what to do with it. The sound, not the other thing. Riff-led and captivating throughout, this foot stomping dirty slice of neo-psychedelia bliss should be sought out immediately"

 Narc Magazine

Bernaccia certainly know how to write well-judged and twangy rock if this atmospheric single is anything to go by. Its a driving, bluesy affair which grabs you from the off, relying on a lean and mean tempo to keep any bluster at bay. Utterly captivating."

NIX NOUGHT NOTHING

Revealing a craftsman-like attention to structure and interdependence, Nix Nought Nothing blends traditional roots with a raw intimacy, and takes the contemporary folk song to a grander, more eclectic level -- one undeniably his own.

He imparts his lyrics with a powerful and impassioned voice, and layers his vocals to create choirs of insightful harmony. Drawing on his experience as a jazz pianist and film composer, Nix Nought Nothing accompanies his vocals with a suite of instruments, combining each layer to create sumptuous, expansive soundscapes.

“The Storm,” Nix Nought Nothing’s debut album, embodies ancient and nautical themes in a heartfelt exploration of loss and redemption. Written and recorded in just 28 days in Brooklyn, New York, and Hampshire, England, the album combines complex and varied styles into a body of work that is distinct and whole. Through waves of tension and release, “The Storm” carries the listener through realms of mystery and magnificence.

“I wanted to produce something almost improvised and raw,” Nix Nought
Nothing says, “but I also sought to evoke the grandeur and imagination I’d grown accustom to from scoring film. ‘The Storm’ takes both of those elements and attempts to build something more ambitious but still personal.”

These qualities are front and centre on the album’s first single, “Sticks and Stones.” A commanding song with powerful melodies and rousing lyrics, the track is simultaneously cinematic and heart-wrenchingly sincere. Its stirring verses and rousing chorus combine with swells of music that result in a sound both timeless and yet unmistakably new.

The band play live with the intensity and raw energy of a young band but with the polished skill and cohesion normally found only in long-standing bands. Currently working with producer Gavin Monaghan, who is notable for his work with The Editors, Scott Matthews and The Twang, the boys are fresh from the studio and are about the hit the UK with their debut single ‘Drunk’.

We leave the final words on the single with the band…“We’re really excited about the single, although it was difficult deciding which track to release first, we’ve got loads of great songs to choose from... ‘Marry Me When I’m 40’, ‘Where d’You Wanna Go’ and ‘In It For Himself’, amongst others”. “We eventually decided on ‘Drunk’... an unapologetic ‘beery’ anthem, guaranteed to hit the spot with anyone who likes a night on the town and a few pints!”

Judith Owen
‘Ebb and Flow’ album released 7th April 2014
'I've Never Been To Texas' single released 24th March 2014
@judithowen
www.judithowen.net
That Judith Owen's new album Ebb and Flow evokes the spirit of the halcyon days of the great 1970s troubadours is not accidental. In a set of potent songs about love and loss, pain and joy, dreams and despair, the Welsh singer-songwriter fearlessly explores the duality of the human condition - and to do justice to the songs, she turned to the legendary musicians who created the seventies’ troubadour sound.
Between them, her core band of drummer Russ Kunkel, bassist Lee Sklar and guitarist Waddy Wachtel played on many of the landmark albums from the era by the likes of Carole King, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell and Jackson Browne. "The kind of music I write is so influenced by that sound and period that I wanted to go direct to the source," Owen explains. "When I write songs, I'm hearing a sound in my head - and they knew the sound because they invented it." The songs on Ebb and Flow touch on the deepest emotions of Owen's own storied life with an unswerving honesty. But although her songs are highly personal, the emotions are universal.
"Singing about the human condition, living under the shadow of loss and frustration and sadness and loneliness and not being gratuitously sentimental about it, instead making something beautiful out of it - that's the songwriter's job," Owen says.
What she describes as the "bookends" of the album are two particularly heart-rending songs, "You're Not Here Any More", about her mother (whose suicide when she was 15, was the catalyst for her foray into serious song-writing) and "I Would Give Anything", about the recent loss of the greatest musical influence, her opera singer father. Both songs are poignant expressions of the bittersweet duality that is perhaps the album's strongest theme and which is reflected in the title Ebb and Flow. "Yes, they’re incredibly sad," admits Owen. "But they're also cathartic because they’re the most loving songs I could write and are totally honest about the reality of loss." The theme of how to make it through the darkest night informs several other compositions on the album, including "Under Your Door", "You Are Not My Friend" and "Train Out Of Hollywood", songs about emotional vulnerability, but always shot through with glimpses of hope and salvation.
But, although Ebb and Flow is a highly personal, solo singer-songwriter album, in a real sense it's a 'band' record too. "One of the great things is that Judith makes space for what we add," Kunkel notes. "She turned it into a real ensemble thing," Wachtel adds.
There is a seductive wit and playfulness alongside the introspection too. A trademark of Owen's career has been her irreverent ability to subvert well-known songs with unexpected and improbable covers. Over the years she has turned-inside-out songs by the likes of Deep Purple and The Police to render them almost unrecognisable from the originals.
Here it's Mungo Jerry's 1970 smash hit "In The Summertime" that gets the unique Owen makeover treatment, rendered as it might have sounded if the song had appeared on Joni Mitchell's Ladies of The Canyon. "Great songs are like great bones. You can hang whatever you want on them," she says."In The Summertime" is a ridiculously silly song, and so I asked 'What Would Joni Do?' It's warm, with a glint in the eye and a sense of fun." The result is the most confident and assured album of Owen's career to date.
After emigrating to America in 1993, Ebb and Flow is Judith Owen's eighth album since her 1996 debut Emotions On A Postcard. She’s married to the actor and humorist Harry Shearer and in addition to her acclaimed solo work, Judith has for many years been Richard Thompson's female foil of choice. Both have appeared on each other's albums and Owen played a leading collaborative part in Thompson's projects 1000 Years Of Popular Music and Cabaret of Souls. She also co-created “Losing It” with Ruby Wax, a funny yet devastatingly honest two-woman show chronicling descent into mental illness that was a box-office hit in London's West End in 2011.
But it is her role as an unflinching singer-songwriter baring her soul that remains at the core of Owen's creativity. Ebb and Flow, she says, feels like a homecoming. "It's the sound I heard as a kid and which made me light up. I've brought it home and it feels nice to be here."

Sam Brookes - 'James' is released on Monday 17th March 2014!
“Musically, he excels at propulsive, narratively rich folk, delivered in a soaring, clear-as-a-bell singing voice that makes every word of his evocative, detailed lyrics count.” Sunday Times
Sam Brookes has become part of the burgeoning acoustic music scene, gigging around the UK on his own and with his contempories to an ever-increasing audience of enthusiasts.
His songs are, fundamentally, beautifully crafted stories about familiar subject matters that captivate the listener. Musically, his immaculate phrasing and beautifully modulated delivery reach easily beneath the skin of his audience; the magical space he creates, with the elasticity of his writing, has the echoes and jazz arches of giants like John Martyn and Tim Buckley.
His sef-titled debut bought him recognition in the form of high profile support slots with Joan Armatrading, Ray Davies and Newton Faulkner; this combined with an entrepreneurial spirit and a close kinship with other musicians such as Lucy Rose, Pete Roe and Emily & The Woods has allowed his live and recorded sound to evolve in to a more powerful and provocative body of work. Thoughtful lyrics add poetry to his tracks, something that sets his work apart in an increasingly saturated area of music.

As Elephants Are will follow last October’s release of the 'Crystal' single (BBC Radio 1 Zane Lowe ‘Next Hype’), with a brand new 4 track ‘Hand Prints’ EP and their first fully fledged UK Tour the same month. The 11-date tour will culminate in the band’s first proper London headline show at The Sebright Arms on 31/03 . With past releases being described as everything from “sinister” (This Is Fake DIY), to “Life affirming” and “Magical” (the 405) to “Wonderfully dreamy” (Time Out London), EP title track ‘Hand Prints’ develops further the band’s ability to write nagging melodies wrapped in barbed wire rhythms. On the live front, 2013 saw As Elephants Are play their debut slot at the Reading and Leeds Festival on the BBC Introducing Stage as well as appearing at Bushstock and Southsea Festival and supporting Half Moon Run. Previous radio support has come from Radio 1 (Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens, Jen Long & Ally McCrae), Xfm (John Kennedy & Danielle Perry), 6 Music (Tom Robinson) and Amazing Radio. A Summer of festival appearances beckons in 2014. In the meantime the band have announced a full UK tour, dates for which can be seen here; facebook.com/aselephantsareband

CORBU
WE ARE SOUND
Impact Date: March 23rd
Corbu are an electronic indie-rock band from Brooklyn, New York spearheaded by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jonathan Graves.
Named after French architect Corbusier, the band has a strong creative aesthetic. Graves writes the music from visual ideas, which he translates into sound. Corbu songs are often heard partially or entirely in dreams, and are influenced by films, physical spaces and a childhood love of nature and science fiction.
“We Are Sound” is Corbu’s enchanting debut single, taken from the self-produced EP of the same name.
Zane Lowe gave the single its debut play just half an hour after hearing it for the first time. His verdict: “it is instantly future and we think you’re going to love it” and “really really really really really really good!”
The track has since been played again by Zane as well as by John Kennedy at Xfm and Radio 1’s Rob Da Bank.
Linn Branson picked up the single and instantly put it in her ‘Friday’s Hot Top 10’ for the Little Indie blog and TMRW magazine featured the single on its most recent playlist (Playlist 18.0). The band has also appeared in US blog Music Without Labels and French blog Mets-toi a la plage.
Corbu are Jonathan (vocals), Todd Hoellerman (drums, keys), Amanda Scott (synths, percussion), Julian Ferraldo (guitar, keys) and Brian Murphy (bass, keys).
The impact date for “We Are Sound” is March 23rd. Remixes come courtesy of Charles Webster and Doorly.

Young Kato - 'Help Yourself' is released on Monday 24th March 2014!
Taken from the upcoming debut album released via BMG Rights Management.
Just prior to another great surge of live activity; Young Kato release standout single ‘Help Yourself’. The single brilliantly showcases this young band’s knack for writing classic pop songs that will stand the test of time. Soaring guitars give way to vocalist Tommy Wright’s uniquely rangy vocal style and come together once again to create a single that proves Young Kato were one of the major standout acts to launch in 2013.
Having recorded and completed their debut album with in-demand producer Dan Grech-Marguerat (The Vaccines, Tom Odell, Howling Bells, Beck, Hurts, Lana Del Rey) at The Strongrooms Studio complex in East London Young Kato are excited to showcase the new additions to their burgeoning catalogue.
HUGE NEWS - Young Kato also today announce their addition to the line up on the You Me At Six UK tour which comes off the back of the YMAS number 1 album ‘Cavalier Youth’. Young Kato now book end the period between March 27th and April 5th with two very special London shows. March 27th will be the bands biggest headline show to date at The Garage, Highbury and April 5th signifies the last of 7 massive dates on the You Me At Six tour at north London’s spectacular Alexandra Palace.
In just 12 months the six piece have taken their sound from a small rehearsal room in Cheltenham, to gain major national TV exposure, Singles of the Week across numerous radio stations including Radio 1, XFM and Absolute and a legion of devoted fans along the way. With tips from both Fearne Cotton and Zane Lowe, Young Kato really are the band to watch in 2014, and their debut album is ready to prove it.

Milagres - 'Jeweled Cave' is released on Monday 10th March 2014!
“a blissful fusion of Wild Beasts and Sparks, with songs full of imagery to lose yourself in” **** Guardian
‘Jeweled Cave’ is the stunning new single from Brooklyn brooders Milagres and set for release on 10 March 2014. It’s a highlight from their upcoming second album ‘Violent Light’ set to be released on Memphis Industries on February 25 2014.
If the last album (‘Glowing Mouth’) from Brooklyn brooders Milagres was an essay on human frailty, composed in a haze of Vicodin from a hospital bed after a climbing accident left lead vocalist Kyle Wilson incapacitated for months, the follow-up is about living life – a brave, bold fuck-you to mortality that seeps sex from its pores and dazzles in its gossamer alt-pop. “We could take a trip into a new country,” he teases on Urban Eunuchs, but forget that.
‘Violent Light’ is the only record you’ll hear this year (or any other) to borrow from both Heroes-era Bowie and Southern rap hooligan Waka Flocka Flame (“I love the way his rhythm tracks just prattle on and on without repeating themselves, somehow never sounding overcomplicated” says Wilson), this new full-length release from the band sounds like a trip into another universe, full of trippy analogue synths, manipulated samples, punchy distorted guitars and heavy brass orchestrations.
Milagres are lead singer / guitarist Kyle Wilson, producer and bass player Fraser McCulloch, keyboard player Chris Brazee and drummer Paul Payabyab.

‘New Morning’ is the product of two days spent recording at Camden’s legendary Roundhouse, as part of their 30/30 Project. It follows on from the introductory track ‘All The Seas’ (http://bit.ly/1kbVVlp) which picked up plaudits from Lauren Laverne and Tom Robinson at BBC 6Music as well as ample blog adoration from the likes of For Folk's Sake and Mad Mackerel respectively.
Indie-folk outfit Suntrapp began as vocalist Jake Houlsby’s response against the greyness and melancholy of his previous musical output; a positive and hopeful change of outlook from him, lyrically and melodically. Jake soon began firming up his invigorating ideas with the help of producer and former Detroit Social Club frontman, David Burn; early demo ‘Fuel For The Fire’ secured him a spot at Generator’s Evolution Emerging showcase in May before debut release ‘All The Seas’ helped land him the North-East’s prestigious Alan Hull Award for songwriting.
The release will be followed by a very special Hub Session at The Roundhouse Rising Festival on February 21st, alongside previous 30/30 contributor Ajimal.
Produced by Marc Pell and Tom Wegg-Prosser
Engineered by Cameron Deas

From the e.p. "Remember. Bulletproof"
Out 5th November.
Super73 are a four piece band hailing from the Midlands UK.
Described as "The New Wave of the post-punk BritishInvasion".
The band consists of:
Mark Whinkless - Guitarist / Vocalist
Steveo Potter - Guitarist / Vocalist
Rob Ellis - Bassist /
Drew Winfield - Drummer / Vocalist
In May 2012 Super73 realised that between all four members, with the experience that all members bring, they should collaborate and create a sound fusion between varying influences. They all write together.
After five months of planning and preparation, honing a full set of material and rehearsing religiously, Super73 launched their online presence in October.
Super73 started out life by playing two shows in London. One at The Cavendish Arms, and the other as part of the Oxjam Chiswick lineup, the festival had support from the infamous Iron Maiden front man, Bruce Dickinson.
Following the London debut, Super73 have travelled around the country showcasing their brand of high energy, melodic heavy rock, with a view to gaining more exposure and securing a tenacious following.
As a result, Super73 have played support to welsh Rockers Attack!Attack! as part of their farewell tour, up and coming Arcane Roots, and well established US Band Everclear.
Behind the scenes, Super73 have agained a sync agreement with US Pro Wrestling company Ring Of Honor Wrestling, becoming the entrance theme for a female competitor Veda Scott.
As well as sponsorship agreements from Fly53 Clothing and Vocalzone, Rufus Guitars UK, will be producing a one-off Rufus73 model.
The band have already received excellent feedback and opportunities from BBC Introducing in the East Midlands, where the program was the first to get the exclusive play of "There Or Thereabouts", the single launch from the new E.P.
This release will also mark a unique adventure the band will be embarking on. On October 19th 2013, In aid of the Oxfam charity, the band will be attempting to do 4 shows in one day, titled "The Tour In A Day".
It will be hitting different cities in the UK, in one day. This particular project has gained exposure, and support from Fly53 who have agreed to promote and sponsor the tour.
With new content being uploaded and a strong online fan base, Super73 currently have the ears twitching of individuals and fans alike and with new releases planned and videos in the wings, the future looks promising.
Everyone's life has a soundtrack, this is Super73'

Featured on the "Native" ep.
Suzuki/Method are Brothers and founders Adam and Glen Leishman, Michael Mathews, David Boyd and Ben Hounslow.
Together they have created a sonic landscape where anything and everything coexists simultaneously and seamlessly.
A place where 30 years of dance music culture collides with a wall of screaming guitars and lyrics question and lay blame in equal measure. Crucially however it is the principled and intelligent approach to pop music that make this Salford band so appealing to such a large demographic, and hard to ignore.
Drawing from a diverse palate of influences ranging from Daft Punk to The Smiths (by way of guitar lines that wouldn’t be out of place on a Parliament record) there is something almost Darwinian in their sound selections and arrangements, where in only the strongest hooks make the final cut.
Debut single Country Cousins is a cerebral dance floor powerhouse. Swelling bass lines and cast iron drum beats draped in lush synth textures provide a pitch perfect soundtrack to Vocalist Adam’s forlorn tale of youth in crisis.
Recently signed to A1(M) Records, Country Cousins is the first offering of new debut EP 'NATIVE', produced by David Tolan (Delphic, New Order, Primal scream) and Jim Spencer (The Doves, The Vaccines, 808 State) is a statement of intent, a rallying cry from a cliché breaking band destined to mark their mark in 2013.

Falcoman who is based in London, England.

With his roots coming from the exciting Rio De Janeiro, Copacabana Beach where he is known for his powerful and unique performances, Falcoman has experienced plenty of highs and lows in his music career since moving to London 18 years ago.
After recovering from alcoholism and drug addiction, Falcoman is now helping other people like himself and has created his own brand of music which he has titled Hip Hope.
Described as being a kind of music written in a funny and intelligent way to let people and society know that for problems like alcohol, drugs and depression, there is a way out, you can find out more details on Falcoman by visiting his website www.facebook.com/falcoman2

Alex Lato who is based in London, England.

Known by many as the lead singer of The Fuse who have supported the likes of UB40 and Foreigner, Alex Lato now releases his debut solo album, Infamous, with the first single from it being Hurt You.
Already on rotation on 32 major radio stations in Northern Belgium, Hurt You and the rest of the album may not have even been recorded following airport mix-ups when checking out a studio in Morocco and leaving money at cashpoints, not to mention freakily bumping into previous record label owners ….  Following these incidents and a number more during the recordings, Alex was quoted as saying; Every step of the way has felt like a leap into the unknown. You just have to keep leaping, because when you are in the air, the dark isn't so scary, and sometimes you see the light…
The album is now available to purchase on iTunes and all other major download stores.  Further details on this as well as forthcoming gig dates can be found on his website www.alexlato.co.uk or you can follow him on Facebook at www.facebook.com/alexlato

Marco Argiro
New Yorker Marco Argiro is now presenting his brand new single, ‘Love’ - a euphonious high-power three-minuter under the name "Marco with Love"
The track is expected on Valentine's Day along with a music video, which can currently be seen on YouTube.
‘Love’, like many of Argiro’s productions takes the listener on a stroll down memory lane while also maintaining an extremely recognisably present nature.
A flair of guitars, piano and first-rate basslines fashion the ultra melodic and catchy temperament of the track.
And that's not to mention the vocals and writing behind it, the central focus of the track and video - Argiro is destined for the charts and international radio play.
The new tune comes as the title song for the album - also named ‘Love’ - with the writer claiming the record represents love “in all variations - young love, faltering love and love’s evolution over time.”
He has cited his main influences as rock lords The Beatles, Tom Petty and The Kinks.
Marco made a name for himself after filling in on lead vocals for Marky Ramone’s Blitzkrieg. As a life-long Ramones fan, this was a dream come true.
While performing and writing in Le Mood and The Killing Floor, he has worked up a reputation for possessing hunger, energy and passion like no other.
He has garnered a large repertoire of praise from the music news media landscape.
Baeble Music wrote, on ‘Love’: “The song and video, which we've got the exclusive first look at here, has a nice streetsmart, electric boogie to it, courtesy of the singer's cited influences of legendary artists like Tom Petty and The Kinks.
“We're going to namecheck a few more; The Strokes, Chuck Berry...why not? Argiro's certainly taking cues from all the right places...no bigger than the message that ripples through the tune.”
Rust Music said: “Love is an incredibly solid collection of songs that pierce your heart and soul and make you realize that [Argiro] is one of the timeless talents of our modern moment.
“You must have a solid foundation if you want to build to the heavens, and Argiro reaches fantastic heights with Love.”
And regarding the album, Rust Music added: “This is a significant release on a global stage and it’s an album that will be relevant, fresh and vibrant both right now and forever. Very Highly Recommended.”
BBC Guernsey commented: “Marco Argiro’s amazing charisma blasted from the stage, capturing anyone in its path.”
“His latest album, Love, is nine tracks of energy that can only come from
an experienced rocker,” The Aquarian added.
Revolution 360 said: “Every now and then you will find a moment of calm and easy sailing. Where you can take breath and enjoy simply existing. Marco Argiro is that tranquil moment presented in sound. "
Planet Stereo commented: “Overall, Love comes as a pleasant surprise. Marco Argiro has given listeners an album that they will not only enjoy, but feel. And in the end, isn’t that the beauty of music?"
“Marco Argiro is a unique and phenomenal star on stage and even more mystical when his band Love rocks out with him,” said Sonic Eclectic.
“’Love' certainly is well versed in its classic rock roots, but also puts Argio alongside contemporaries such as Jesse Malin, Greg Dulli and Jeff Tweedy,” The Sound of Confusion wrote.
Velvet Rope Magazine said: “Love gives plenty of nods to the melancholytinged, folk influenced rock of the late 60′s and 70′s, while managing to distance itself enough to still feel relevant to the modern music scene.”
“Brooklyn’s own confessional heartland rock anthem,” The Deli NYC wrote.
Thanks for listening, if you require further information or an interview with Marco, just ask! We have a limited run of blue vinyl of the album and CD copies available upon request, so get in touch if you want a physical item:-)

Welcome to Black Vendetta. my real name is Nathan Virica . I am a 23 year old songwriter and rhythm guitarist, from Harrogate. I spent 3 years of my life in bands, one of which was within touching distance of making it work, and in the end it was only drummers, bassists, singers, lead guitarists, venues, people in general, circumstances in general, life in general and my location at the time that prevented me from achieving this. School predictably failed and thereafter finding little else in Harrogate other than the guy who plays Marlon in Emmerdale (who is a truly miserable bastard if you ever happen to see him in real life!) and a truly shit nightclub known as the moko lounge I decided to come to London and change my strategy along the way. I am now a solo artist (but I kept the band name I so beautifully crafted back in 2007 :)), using guest singers for the purposes of live performance. If topic matters such as depression, alienation, rejection, recreational drug misuse, failure, cripling anxiety disorders and the occasional reference to death float your boat then my word do I have a treat for you! x

Single: 'Tennis Girl (Feat. Lauren Slater)'.
EP: (Four Tracks) is called 'Cigarettes, Alcohol, Love and Injustice'.

Album: (Eight Tracks) is called 'Draconian Backlash'. (All songs written by Nathan Virica).

          2. Hero (Feat. Salli Alexander).

School Of Language * single is Between the Suburbs and its out on 24 February 2014. Its from the new album called Old Fears which is set for release on Memphis Industries on 7 April 2014.
Old Fears. It’s a pop record. A place of clipped falsetto, melancholic funk, iridescent electro, shimmering post-punk, futurist prog. A self-contained sphere of strange sensations. Beguiling textures. Lengthening shadows.
At times it is both liminal and minimal, at others emotive and external. Ambiguous and ambient. Tantalising and tempered. Modern. Unique. And funny too. “I wrote a lot of notes and they seemed to distinctly split into things to do with love and things to do with fear,” says David Brewis. “A lot of it has ended up with me looking back at when I was 19, 20 - my formative years. So though I wouldn't want to call it a concept album it's definitely themed.”
Here each song has been honed and polished into something pure, like a vast block of marble chiselled down into a perfectly tiny delicate egg of FabergĂ©-esque perfection. Recorded throughout 2013 in Field Music’s studio on the banks of the River Wear in Sunderland, synth flourishes sit alongside the staccato jarring guitars of ‘A Smile Cracks’ and the metronomic rhythms of ‘Dress Up’. Like a Ballard novel or a George Shaw painting, ‘Between The Suburbs’ offers perhaps the most lyrical and poetic moment, where “Dogs chase patterns, play to attention / Bulbs glare on greasy roads...”.
The title track meanwhile is reminiscent of the haunting giallo film scores of Goblin or kosmische music at its most moving while ‘Moment Of Doubt’ displays shades of Brian Eno and Robert Wyatt. Other oblique influences come in the form of early Justin Timberlake and N*E*R*D albums, “a bunch of disco records”, Canadian experimentalist Sandro Perri, Dr John, Fela Kuti and Shalamar.
A haunted collection that occupies a strange, hazy hinterland of permanent gloaming. One where snatched melodies pass each one another like cars gliding by at night on their way back to the silent suburbs. These are polished pieces composed without contrivance. Old Fears. An album that is neither retrogressive or futurist, but simply anchored in the moment. Pure.
By beautiful album closer ‘You Kept Yourself’ one is left with the sensation of seeing, smelling and tasting the world anew.
* School Of Language is the nom de plume of Brewis, a member of Mercury prize-nominated pop group Field Music. His first album as School Of Language Sea From Shore was released to wide acclaim in 2008. A pop polymath, the past twelve months have also seen David assemble and play in Eleanor Friedberger’s touring band, do production work for Maximo Park, Futureheads-affiliates Rivals, Pea Sea and a collaboration between brother Peter Brewis and Paul Smith, as well as remixes for Dutch Uncles, The Ralfe Band and Phoenix Foundation. He has also performed a score for 1929 silent documentary Drifters (and will be again at the Aldeburgh Festival on 1 February) and composed pieces inspired by books shortlisted for the inaugural Gordon Burn literary

‘Another Day’ by Reign of Kings is a tantalising glimpse of what is to come from the British rock quartet.
The debut single is set to hit the downloads next month, on February 1.
‘Another Day’ is a manifestation of the band’s ability to write a hook-filled, radio-friendly track with universal appeal.
Deep within the realm of time-honoured rock, it captures the mood in an excellent and rabble-rousing turn.
With refined vocal harmonies and production, the influence of rock’n’roll royalty Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles is clear.
The band, which is Dan Steel (vocals), Dave Sylva (guitar), AJ Collyer (bass) and Jenny Ford (drums) have penned an EP, which is due out in March.
And they’ve wasted no time - with more than 400 gigs played leading up to the coming launch.
Reign of Kings have shared stages with some of the most regal acts, including Whitesnake, Journey, McFly, Stooshe and Loveable Rogues at T-Live in the park.
And BBC Introducing has also branded them “absolutely amazing. The guys are fantastic!”
A music video is due out with the single, along with the debut EP ‘All the Right Pieces’ - produced by Tom Gittins at Monochrome Productions - on March 1, 2014.
Midlandrocks commented: “The band embraces all that is good about the songwriting art.”
Surface Unsigned said: “Hooky riffs, deep baselines, winding solos and a distinctive layers vocal combination.
“Reign of Kings show a real skill for composing and writing their tracks.”
Music 224 added: “By the time they had left the stage, the bar had truly been raised up high for those about to follow.”
