TCI Tenor is a fresh new Producer from the North East and is bringing his contemporary yet experimental sounds with his debut EP, The Lost Island (Experiment 14a) as he prepares to hit the ground running this summer.

Born and raised in Hartlepool, TCI Tenor is a self-taught producer who has already been turning heads with his unique talent for crossing genres and blending all the classic flavours of dance/electronic music while still keeping true to his roots of drum and bass.

Having a background in chemistry has certainly played a big part in his nature and how he approaches his music. Chemistry is the study of the composition, properties and behaviour of matter and this can be applied to the music of TCI Tenor which is very much experimental in its nature

Seeing how different flavours of the electronic music genre such as house, trance and hip-hop interact and intertwine with each other to give TCI Tenor’s music the distinct, unmistakable style that he has worked hard to achieve.

So imagine Einstein meets early Chase and Status and you’re about half way there!

The debut release is a 3-track drum & bass EP, which follows the adventure of a group of friends to a remote tropical island in the height of summer. Acoustic guitars play a prominent role in all the tracks, and those who have been lucky enough to hear a sneak preview are already describing it as "folkstep" (so make of that what you will!).

The lead single is ‘Across The Waves’, featuring the husky rock vocal talent of David Arnett

This is a producer who is not looking to settle for the norm and boring. TCI Tenor is all about creative and innovative ideas and concepts, with a plethora of prospects waiting to be unleashed and explored; you should very much be looking to expect the unexpected with TCI Tenor.

Sacred Wind - Sacred Wind - available now:-)
"Hellish Funny!" says Big Jim from TheRockShow.co.uk
Imagine Black Adder, Shrek, Douglas Adams, Monty Python, Terry Pratchett, David Eddings and Spinal Tap meeting for a few pints of fine ale and a good game of charades…
Welcome to the world of Sacred Wind, a tale set in an alternative reality, featuring conscious curries, headbanging sheep, telepathic cats, magic cheese, an evil Baron, some very sexy faeries, and a Welsh Viking Rock band!!!! There are 4 Sacred Wind books as well as the Sacred Wind album.
Check author Andy Coffey's profile here: https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/andycoffey99
Sometimes there are tales that must be told and sometimes the spirit of these great adventures, heroic deeds and songs of glory our powerful enough to touch the hearts, ears and nostrils of the gods. And so it is with Sacred Wind!!
It’s safe to say that the last thing Aiden Peersey expected when he began his trip to Llangollen was to move between realities and meet a bunch of Welsh Vikings who played in a rock band called Sacred Wind. It’s also safe to say that the technology geek and part‐time sound engineer didn't expect to be catapulted into a quest to win a music tournament, to save the faerie queen and to win freedom for their land!! Nevertheless, that’s exactly what happened…
Transported to an alternative reality by the Navigation App on his quantum computer‐ powered Smart Phone, Aiden discovered a land ruled by the evil Baron Blacktie, who had banned heavy metal!!! As if all that wasn't enough to contend with, he soon joined Sacred Wind and The Companions of Wind on their perilous journey to win the Cestrian Music Tournament!
Against all the odds Sacred Wind dealt Baron Blactie a heavy metal hammer blow to win the tournament and in the process they breathed fresh life into metal! The results of this triumph is Sacred Winds eponymous debut album. Taken from the album is the title track Sacred Wind, both are available to buy from all good online retailers now!!
Sacred Wind is:
Olaf the Berserker – Lead Vocals/Lead Guitars
Grundi the Windy – Lead Guitars/Backing Vocals
Smid the Merciless – Bass Guitar/Backing Vocals
Agnar the Hammered – Drums and Percussion

CEDRIC GERVAIS FEAT. COCO ‘Through The Night’
Released: September 2014 via 3Beat
Following on from the huge global success of collaborations with Lana Del Rey & Miley Cyrus, French dj/producer Cedric Gervais is back once again with a brand new release, this time in the form of a summer-time jam "Through The Night." The Grammy-winning artist takes a new approach with this catchy tune, featuring the groovy vocals of Coco, of LA based band Quadron, and a piano-laden melody that exhibits a truly 90s-influenced sound. The single shows Cedric’s diverse ability as a producer, as he continues to push his musical boundaries, enabling his fan base to grow at an incredible rate across all corners of the world.
The official video premiere is due for release imminently, the video teasers hinting at something special featuring the man himself.
Cedric’s touring schedule is also busy as ever, the summer sees him touring Europe, US & South America extensively, playing in some of the best clubs in the greatest clubbing locations around the world. See the tour poster below for the full list of dates.

Young Kato - 'Sunshine' EP + Single is released on Monday 15th September 2014.
Cheltenham six piece Young Kato today announced more headline shows and the release of their latest EP, ‘Sunshine’ on September 15th following a full summer of touring and festivals.
Following a handful of hugely impressive single releases, British indie pop band Young Kato returned to the studio with the specific aim to deliver a new EP that will serve as the appetiser for what promises to be one of the most hook filled album releases of the coming 6 months. With a handful of newly written songs written on the road during their early 2014 tours with You Me At Six and sold out headline tour of their own, the band recorded 6 new tracks and chose the three that best define their new sound for this brand new release.
Prior to going into the studio with UK producer Paul Stanborough (Kelis, Mark Ronson, Scissor Sisters, Janet Jackson and Tinie Tempah), the band spent another 2 months solidly touring the UK playing packed out shows of their own as well as new music festivals such as Dot 2 Dot in Bristol, Nottingham & Manchester, Live at Leeds and Liverpool Sound City. Young Kato were also main support to 5 Seconds of Summer on two of their London headline shows, headlined The Artrocker ‘New Blood’ festival in June, played Club NME the following week and most recently played the massive British Summertime Festival in Hyde Park and Wakestock in North Wales.
‘Sunshine’ - the lead track from the EP - is a soaring, beats driven, joy filled anthem with lead vocalist Tommy Wright’s uniquely rangy vocals over the top of Young Kato’s trademark synth and driving guitar sound. ‘Sunshine’ kicks the EP off with what promises to be another huge live favourite and follows that with more sublime indie pop that will no doubt cement the band’s reputation as one of the standout new acts of the last 12 months.
Having put masses of time in across the UK playing every tiny show available to them, this incredibly young Cheltenham based band have very swiftly taken their music from a small rehearsal room in their home town, to major national tours, mainstream TV performances, Singles of the Week across numerous radio stations including Radio 1, XFM and Absolute and added a legion of devoted fans along the way.
Young Kato release the ‘Sunshine’ EP on Sept 15th through Republic of Music/YK Records
Young Kato play The Islington in London on July 28th

VICTOR & The Rain Dog

“Carnival Rock & Urban Storytelling”

Son of a French escapologist with a passion for spanish guitars, Victor develops an early passion for music and story-telling.

Suffering from Monochromacy, a rare type of colour blindness where one sees the world in black-and-white, Victor decides to make up for a lack of colours by writing stories and singing songs.

He starts off performing in the streets of Paris, and soon falls in love with a prodigy Italian acrobat whom he follows to London.

There, on a stormy night, Victor meets and befriends a wild dog with a passion for hurricanes. He calls him the Rain Dog.

Victor himself describes his performances as “An encounter between Carnival music and Indigenous sorcery, with a fondness for urban story-telling.”

Sigma’s recent No.1 hit, ‘Nobody To Love’, has quickly become one of 2014’s highest-selling singles so far, clocking up 510,000 sales (including streams), 30 million YouTube views and 40 million worldwide streams. And how do you follow-up a single that’s hit No.1 in 8 countries? If you’re Sigma, you go straight into the studio, call up Paloma Faith and a full orchestra, and produce a monster hit-in-waiting in ‘Changing’.
Premiered on Radio 1 courtesy of Annie Mac (Special Delivery, 11/7/14), ‘Changing’ shows Sigma aka Cameron Edwards and Joe Lenzie in sparkling form, making good use of studio time in between a packed summer schedule with shows across the UK, Europe, North America and Australia, including Glastonbury, Global Gathering, Ibiza Rocks and Bestival.
Sigma’s remixes for Kiesza (‘Hideaway’), Route 94 (‘My Love’), Clean Bandit (‘Extraordinary’), DJ Fresh (‘Dibby Dibby Sound’) and DJ Zinc (‘Show Me’) have helped make 2014 their best year to date, further proof that the UK duo have big intentions ahead of the artist album they’re currently putting the finishing touches to.
Leeds University alumni – alongside Rusko – Sigma met while balancing raving and studying, working in record shops and promoting events to top up their student loans. While some don their artist mantle when the occasion demands it, Cameron and Joe have made Sigma their ‘life’ since graduation. Early releases with Hospital Records, Viper, Bingo and DJ Fresh’s Breakbeat Kaos, as well as their own Life Recordings, quickly marked them out as producers to watch, while remixes for Eric Prydz, Ellie Goulding, Stylo G and Sway began to take them to a wider audience. The world, it seems, is now their oyster.
Three-time BRIT nominee Paloma Faith released her third album ‘A Perfect Contradiction’ on March 10, the follow-up to 2012’s double platinum selling ‘Fall To Grace’, and her debut ‘Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful?’ (also double platinum). Her new album features a roster of legendary music icons, singer-songwriters and producers including Pharrell Williams (who collaborated on first single ‘Can’t Rely On You’), Diane Warren, Plan B, John Legend, Stewart Matthewman and Raphael Saadiq. ‘A Perfect Contradiction’ has not left the Top 10 since it was released, and has already achieved gold status.

Lisa Taylor who is based in California, USA.

Originally from Hawaii where she grew up in a household playing everything from Led Zeppelin, Joni Mitchell and The Beatles to Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald, Lisa Taylor has not looked back since starting performing at the age of 10.
After moving to Santa Cruz, Lisa Taylor quickly built a name for herself through her solo work and also being lead vocalist for her band SoulCity where she has opened for the likes of Ghostface and Tech Nine, helping build her profile further and contributing to her previous album Let Love Shine reaching number one on the UK Soul Chart for a whole month, as well as being a best seller on a number of top distribution sites.
Her new single Intuition is likely to increase her profile even further and you can find out more information on this by visiting her website www.lltmusic.com or you can follow her on Facebook at www.facebook.com/LisaLetLoveShine

CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED NEW BAND THE SHIRES RETURN WITH THEIR NEW SINGLE ‘TONIGHT’, RELEASED SEPTEMBER 1ST
Fresh from the runaway success of their debut single ‘Nashville Grey Skies’, The Shires are set to release their brand new track ‘Tonight’ on the 1st September.
‘Tonight’ is a beautifully melodic tale of young love that will tap into those experiences we have all had in our lives. At moments both nostalgic and life-affirming it is a fantastic contemporary anthem, sure to become a future sing-a-long classic.
The band have already secured the support of a host of industry tastemakers, and were signed to Decca just before their official live London debut at the event that confirmed the wave of interest in the country genre, the second annual Country 2 Country Festival at London’s 02 Arena. Since then the band are now playing alongside American superstars such as Cassadee Pope and Striking Matches, and are building an impressive live reputation.
Both Ben and Crissie are self-declared admirers of the craftsmanship of country songwriting, but are far from being a twangy tribute act. Powered by Crissie’s powerful but subtle and supple vocals and Ben’s perfectly complementary tones and acoustic guitar, The Shires are young, fresh and have a message of their own.
It seems that The Shires have come from nowhere, overnight, but behind that first impression lies the story of two musicians who have been working towards this moment for a long time. Crissie has been singing her whole life, and came to love country music through artists like Dolly Parton and Faith hill, whereas Ben has toured as a singer/songwriter with the likes of K.T. Tunstall. Introduced by a mutual friend after a comment from Ben on Facebook, the pair instantly felt a musical connection, and discovered that they both lived near each in “the Shires”.
Their respect for the music has already been returned by Nashville itself, with them having already sat down to write with the likes of Steve McEwan (Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood) and Play Productions (Rascal Flatts). The Shires are currently recording their debut album in Music City to be released later in 2014.

Bizzle is no stranger to chart success, scoring a massive nine Top40 singles in the UK so far. His debut solo track “Pow” charted at Number 11 and his most recent single “The Drop” reached Number 20.
With Lethal Bizzle’s blistering vocal riding over a haunting pan pipe and flute riff that bleeds into a thumping bassline, “Flute” is a layered, intense dance floor filler.
The original instrumental charted across mainland Europe, hit the top spot on the ADE Buzz Chart, went Top 5 on Beatport, Top 10 on Music Week’s Cool Cuts chart and was awarded Future Anthem status by BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard. The official video has racked up over 5 million YouTube views to date.

Now fully dench, “Flute” is set for UK release in September.

With 3 stunning EPs under his belt, Roo Panes is pleased to announce the first news of his debut album & a brand new single ‘Tiger Striped Sky’. Due for release through CRC Music, ‘Tiger Striped Sky’ is taken from Roo’s debut album which will be released in autumn. ‘Tiger Striped Sky’ highlights Roo’s talent for well-crafted songs. Adept with marvelous vocal intonation, Roo’s rich melodies are underpinned by beautiful string arrangements. A natural wordsmith, his lyrics conjure feelings of wistful reflection & the need to explore. Hailing from a small town in Dorset, Roo’s surroundings have a strong influence on his music as well. Like many of his favourite romantic poets before him, he effortlessly stitches the sense of beauty, landscape & space into his songs. A captivating performer, Roo Panes is painting his own distinct picture with his music & will be showcasing it live on his first full UK tour in May and June. www.roopanes.co.uk

Matt Spencer is an English singer-songwriter. Born in Basingstoke in 1987, he learnt to play the guitar in 2006 after being asked to be the guitarist in a hardcore punk band his friend Simon Gibbins wanted to start – that band became Mary Kelly and started playing gigs a year later in 2007.

The band split in 2013 after recording their only album, Modus Operandi, due to the members losing their enthusiasm after 6 years of playing that same style of music to audiences who weren’t really interested.

Inspired by the likes of Elliott Smith, Conor Oberst, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash and Morrissey, and sick of hearing songs coming off the conveyer belt that are so over-produced and mistake-free that they’ve lost all sense of character, he made the alb

Slydigs - Soul Ain't Safe Round Here - from the "Down With The Mockery" e.p. - out August 18th 2014.
2014 sees the band release their EP ‘Down With The Mockery’ Produced by George Shilling (Primal Scream, Ocean Colour Scene, Slade) - Stiff Upper Lip was the first single to be released from it.
The EP will be followed by a full UK tour, European tour and also a number of Festival dates.
2013 saw the rise of Slydigs, the Rock & Roll four piece originating from Warrington, in the North West of England.
The release of their debut album ‘Never To Be Tamed’ was met with rave reviews from the press and public alike with Vive Le Rock Magazine giving the album a hearty 9/10, The Big Cheese 4/5 and the NME placing ‘Electric Love’ as one of the ‘5 tracks you must listen to this week’.
Singles like ‘Bang, Bang & My Bullet Was Gone’ have had airplay on a number of Radio Stations around the country, most noticeably Dave Monks’ (BBC Merseyside) BBC Introducing sessions.
Dave invited the band along to play a number of songs in the Live Lounge, again met with a raucous response from the public.
On the live circuit the band’s most noticeable gig of the year was headlining the prestigious Warrington Music Festival, where they met current manager Tommy Kennedy.
Having had a ‘doffing’ of the cap from the likes of Mick Jones of The Clash and Mr. Paul Weller himself, Slydigs are looking to immerse themselves in the history books in 2014.
The head of their label, Flicknife Records’ Frenchy Gloder, declared that they are “the most exciting band we have signed in 20 years”, and with that in mind the future is set to be engulfed by this monstrous band, equipped with the charisma of the Stones and the music that has so long been missed in an ever changing industry.
The band formed in 2008 with lead singer Dean Fairhurst and lead guitarist Louis Menguy through their mutual obsession of the likes of Dylan, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and pretty much any blues or R&B records that they could get their hands on.
They were shortly joined by high school friends Peter Fleming on the drums and bass player Ben Breslin.
Together the band honed their skills touring the UK & Ireland and have even collaborated with Tricky (formerly of Massive Attack) on a yet to be released track.
Their music has been featured on the likes of Channel Four program, Fresh Meat, Sony Production’s talent show in Brazil, NME TV and also the music channel Lava.
Football team Manchester United play their songs at Old Trafford on match days throughout the season and radio station ‘talkSPORT’ play ‘Electric Love’ regularly as the intro to one of their features.
The band are renowned for their ability to encapsulate Rock & Roll in its many forms. Their connection with an audience is something that can only been witnessed through the eyes of a crowd member.
The live scene has allowed them to express their overwhelming desire to entertain and excite audiences all over the globe. To coincide with the release of this year’s EP, Down With The Mockery, Wasp Video are currently filming a short Documentary on the band that tells the tale of their journey so far and the creation of the said EP.
The documentary is also being narrated by author Howard Marks.
Live dates:
They play a gig for "This Feeling" in association with XFM. The next one is at the Queen of Horton in London on the 14th July.

They Came Home"

A remarkable story, a remarkable song

"They Came Home" is the new single from Steve Bonham, which tells a remarkable story from the First World War, based upon the experiences of his own family.

At its heart is the tale of four brothers, who all served between 1914 and 1918, and, somehow, all managed to survive. Released as a single from his forthcoming album Songsmith, it is a powerful, moving, country-tinged ballad of survival.

Says Steve: "I feel strongly, as we remember the millions who died in the First World War, that we should also remember the millions who survived to live broken and haunted lives. Those who were horribly injured and those who bore no physical scars but were traumatised, reliving the horror every day, unable to talk about what they had experienced."

The song came together one evening with his ninety-year old uncle and brother searching out old photographs of the family. They found one taken in 1914 of Steves grandfather, his three brothers and four sisters. All the boys were in uniform. Steve's uncle said the family called the photo "They Came Home".

All four brothers survived as mechanics and engineers, people who were good with their hands, never carrying a gun but witnessing the most terrible things. Grandfather Harry drove around the frontline with an anvil and a few simple tools fixing guns, tanks and other vehicles whilst also serving as a stretcher bearer. His brother Will mended aeroplanes (and, totally illegally, test flew them afterwards to make sure he had done a good job!). Brother Bert ended up in the Navy as an engineer. The final brother, Ben, was drafted into design and research for what would become the RAF.

Says Steve: "The song is a tribute to the millions of ordinary people who came home but were forever changed."

"They Came Home" is available from iTunes and other digital stores or as a special edition CD from www.stevebonham.net

Lost In Paradise NEW UK ROCK/POP BAND

Five young lads from the North East who just love playing and making music, they have moved from epic rock to creating catchy, melodic pop tunes and are already turning a lot of heads within the music world and making waves with their own unique style and sound.

They have played at some high profile venues such as The Cavern Club in Liverpool, Manchester Academy and many other venues across the UK, supporting bands like Mallory Knox, Arcane Roots, Don Broco and already have a significant following in the North East.

Their fresh, new radio friendly track ‘Back to the Start’ is a fantastic blend of late 90’s grunge mixed in with modern rock flavours; think Fountains of Wayne meets Imagine Dragons in a cavalcade of pure rock/pop fusion and packs a punch at 3 minutes long.

Lost in Paradise are back stronger and more focused than ever, with a core belief and a set of values that follow, you only get back what you put in. The lads have been immensely hard at work so they are more than prepared to let the music do all the talking.

The new-look “Lost in Paradise” have been writing and recording nonstop, meaning many, many tracks have been brought to life in the early hours, with the lads sitting and jamming, keeping the sound fresh, real and raw.

‘Back to the Start’ is available on all digital platforms from 14 July 2014

These and the Other Guy

‘Put That Down’

Release Date: July 28th, 2014

York-based These and the Other Guy are a “quirky” quintet who’s music takes influences from everything from rock and electric blues to smoky ballads via reggae, rockabilly, country, jazz and more.

Put That Down, the first single taken from their self-titled debut album is tale of rockabilly regret, a woman’s frustration with her straying and endlessly unreliable man. Mixed in Leeds' Chairworks Studios by hugely experienced Simon Humphrey (The Clash, ABBA, Culture Club, Hot Chocolate), and mastered by Jon Astley at Close To The Edge (The Who, George Harrison, Jules Holland, Rolling Stones), it is a fantastic first offering from a really promising new band!

Lead singer, Alex Botham, puts on a theatrical, passionate show with a voice that has echoes of Imelda May, Dusty, and Karen Carpenter. Behind her the band are a motley crew of all ages with years of experience in numerous styles. As a result their material is a mix of different tastes and influences which comes together to produce something completely new.

EMPORIUM release new single FUNERAL from album 'The Afterlife' -------------------------------------------------------------------
Emporium's new single follows the 2013 release 'Magical Things' which was described as a 'pretty damn fine pop song' by Dutch blog Here Comes The Flood
'Funeral' is taken from latest album 'The Afterlife' which also spawned the 2012 single 'The Umbrella Shop'
LATEST FEEDBACK: ''I can tell you most of what you need to know about Emporium by saying that top notch, eccentric, pop and pomp-pop and dance-pop and quirky-pop all co-exist in the weirdly coherent and consistent sound that is Emporium.'' Unpeeled.net
''Lush melodies wading in psychedelica topped off with Eighties synthesizer sounds. This is a band that isn't "happening", hip or otherwise. Longevity is the keyword here, a band carving a niche outside the mainstream with layered songs about going nuts in a gentle way (Mindbender) and being afraid to go to sleep (Magical Things). The Afterlife might not be skyscraper, but it is built to last.'' Here Come The Flood
'' when the songs live up to the harmonies and the arrangements as they do on the title track, the fabulous ballad, 'Bluebell Wood' and the single, 'The Umbrella Shop', it really is a delight. They avoid most of the pitfalls of the indie scene by remembering that writing good songs and singing them well is what makes a record. '' Zeitgeist
''The band does not only demonstrate these influences with their own unique personality, but they bring them up to date with our age, "upgrading" the vintage vibe with a massive, wide soundscape.'' Hellhound Music
''This is an album you will keep coming back to again and again'' Pennyblackmusic
'' Standouts are the album opener “The Afterlife,” the languid ballad “Bluebell Wood,” the track “Magical Things,” “Beautiful Insanity (Don’t Fit In)” and the piano-driven “The Umbrella Shop.” Jamsphere
FUNERAL is released as a free download, available now from http://www.soundcloud.com/platformrecordsuk

Nishe - You Got Me Blind - out August 14th 2014.
Nishe are an alternative/Indie-rock band from London (UK) formed in August 2013.
The band consists of Giovanni Zappa (lead vocals, guitar), Harold Wilson (bass, backing vocals) and Thomas Romer-Smith (drums, backing vocals) - three guys portraying different environments and mixing a diverse range of influences, from exotic tight rhythms to big surrounding sounds.
They propose a new concept of attraction, where the intriguing balance between tension and explosion is the key factor.
And this is undeniably evident in their personalities that perfectly reflect the dualism of their music, where sensibility and impetus, unpretentious and pride, comfort and incisiveness, contemplation and grip coexist, tied with contagious hooks and loads of excitement.
The releasing of their first EP “This is Nishe” achieved in the last months an unexpected enthusiastic feedback from blogs and radios in the UK, US, EU Canada and South America.
Nobody expected that the Californian online magazine “Indie Rock Café”, with around half a million views from all over the world every month, would include Nishe’s EP among the “Top DIY Albums” of this year, praising their “surprisingly fresh” work.
When Becky Jones put Nishe “somewhere in the space between Arctic Monkeys and Muse” on her blog, the three members of the band blushed:-)
There was no hierarchy among the songs released in the EP, however “You Got Me Blind” has naturally emerged as the actual single due to its more radio-friendly and catchy structure.
The band are already working in preparation for their return to the studio. They would like to evolve their three piece electric guitar based sound adding more synths and electronic layers, reserving a collaboration with one of the freshest established artists that they will soon reveal.
Nishe will be playing at the O2 Academy 3 Birmingham on August 22nd and at the Barfly in London on September 12th, however more shows will soon be confirmed, so keep an eye on their website (www.nisheband.com) for further updates.
Their first four song EP is now and the single You Got Me Blind out on August 14th 2014.

THE TING TINGS ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE
“WRONG CLUB” – Out 18 AUGUST
TAKEN FROM UPCOMING NEW STUDIO ALBUM WRITTEN AND RECORDED IN IBIZA.

Inspired by their travels through New York and Berlin, Ibiza was an accidental destination for the band to set up shop and record their third record.

Writing in an old Spanish finca on the Ibizan hills overlooking the Mediterranean sea, the band was away from everything but the club scene. After 6 months solid writing, the band accidentally befriended Andy Taylor from Duran Duran and what went from an experiment turned into a studio lock in. Andy and Jules both act as co producers on the album.

A band pivoted around duality, male and female, the generational bridge between Katie White and Jules de Martino, city and island, new and old world music technologies, the journey was as vital as the destination. The album was mixed in New York at the legendary Avatar Studios straight onto analog tape.

Playful, honest, rhythmic and drenched in disco beats, Wrong Club is the perfect summer entrée to the bands third album. Within the first few rifts you’re hooked and when that synth vocal hits you, you’re transported into the uncompromised pop playground of The Ting Tings. As with all their records, this captures The Ting Tings now, as always with their fully-fledged creative license.

The single will be released on August 18th ahead of their as yet untitled forthcoming studio album slated for an autumn release.

What The Ting Tings say about Wrong Club -

"About feeling like you don't fit in - finding someone you can leave with - finding someone like you - finding someone who likes you - even if you can't dance like the rest"

"It’s a dark take on a good time.. Finding your place on the dance floor.. or shunning the stereotypes around you because they can't see your vision regardless how wrong or right"

The Ting Tings, formed in 2007 in Manchester.  The new album follows 2008’s We Started Nothing and 2012’s Sounds From Nowhereville.

Elizabeth Cornish - Harder - released August 4th
Leicester based songstress Elizabeth Cornish is warming hearts with “immensely compelling songs which instantly draw you in and immediately tingle on your senses.”* Her meticulous songwriting and delicate finger picking evoke early Beth Orton while her tender yet expressive vocals are reminiscent of Sinead O’Connor and Dido.
Recently supporting the likes of Emily and the Woods, Kristyna Myles and Katie Malco, Elizabeth is a moving performer well worth looking out for.
Her debut album ‘Displaced’ was independently released in March 2014 to a sold out hometown audience.
Her second single ‘Harder’ has since been introduced by Dean Jackson on BBC Introducing East Midlands and featured on Amazing Radio.
*Artsin Leicestershire About the Album: Displaced is the long awaited debut album by Elizabeth Cornish. The 11-track album is a collection of songs written over 6 years and touches on themes of transition, growth, overcoming barriers and moving on. The album is in many ways the culmination of Elizabeth’s nomadic upbringing, having been written while packing and unpacking boxes, saying goodbye to friends and family and an array of different sceneries. Displaced captures feelings of anguish, being torn between place after place and the loss of leaving people behind. Yet despite this, the warmth of hope and reassurance run throughout.
“A deep, rewarding debut album then, with enough twists, hooks, plaintive cries and thoughtful musings to constantly engage and sympathise with its embattled heroine.” (The Monograph

little Donkey facebook[.]com/littledonkeymusic

Dynamite have recorded an album of rock tracks that will surprisingly get the listener singing them well after the CD has finished.

All the songs are written by songsmith Vic Malcolm who was the writer of all the Geordie hits back in the seventies. A band that had Brian Johnson as their vocalist. Brian left to join AC/DC and Vic moved to Cyprus where he continued to write and record songs many of which were published and released by Tabitha Music.

One night playing at a gig in Paphos Vic heard the incredible voice of Rick Mort and immediately wrote a number of songs. They played gigs on the island and recently released a live track “Black” on 13th June 2014, which has had massive airplay, and was made available as a download only.

At the end of last year they went into the studio to record this first album and the results are ten original rock tracks on the CD “Rock ‘til you drop.”

Tabitha Music Limited CEO, Graham Sclater said, "I have not been this excited about a rock band since we signed Adrian Smith's Urchin back in the seventies. Adrian went on to join Iron Maiden and I've always hoped that I could find and sign a band that played out and out uncompromising rock. "Dynamite" is such a band."

The album will be released on 11 July 2014 in CD format from Amazon or Tabitha Records and as a download from Amazon and iTunes.

The Inevitable who are based in London, England.

Previously known under a different name, due to copyright issues it was always ‘inevitable’ they would have to change it.  Since then though, The Inevitable have been creating quite a stir on the London music scene and beyond.
Building on the residency they had at Ackham Village Market on the infamous Portobello Road, the band have gone on to release their debut EP after many unfortunate hurdles, with a launch party recently held at The Star Inn in Guildford.
Described as combining a variety of genres such as Pop, Punk, Rock and Funk, you can find out more information on The Inevitable by visiting their website www.facebook.com/the.inevitable.uk

Andrea Cosentino who is based in London, England.

Learning his trade playing in a number of tribute bands including the Beatles, U2 and The Police, which saw him invited to perform at a selection of music festivals, Andrea Cosentino also begun writing his own material.
After moving to London and attending open mic nights where he could perfect his own music, Andrea Cosentino set to work on recording his music, the outcome of which is his new track Now Is Here.
Further details on this and forthcoming gig dates can be found by following him on Facebook

Got A Girl - 'Did We Live Too Fast' IMPACT: Monday 18th August 2014,
Video (Noisey video premiere): http://noisey.vice.com/blog/dan-the-automator-and-mary-elizabeth-winstead-got-a-girl-did-we-live-too-fast-premiere
Dan the Automator is a man of worldly tastes when it comes to the art of the collaboration. While mostly known for his hip hop production with Gorillaz and Deltron 3030, the dude has previously joined forces, in one form or another, with Zack de la Rocha, At the Drive-In's Cedric Bixler-Zavala, and Glassjaw's Daryl Palumbo — and that's only taking into account late-'90s post-hardcore heroes.
With his newest collaboration, Dan takes a decidedly cinematic turn. Having hit it off with Mary Elizabeth Winstead on the set of the 2010 film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World — he was working on the score and she was starring as love interest Ramona Flowers — Dan the Automator invited Winstead to form the other half of a project that would become Got a Girl.
On "Did We Live Too Fast," the opening cut from Got a Girl's forthcoming debut album, the pair delves deep into their shared affinity for '60s French pop. Dan the Automator reminds us of his classical training with nostalgia-pop production fit for a Tarantino film, but riddles it with Gorillaz-esque drums; Winstead, meanwhile, is perfectly cast as the soulful voice bemoaning a fantasy in the lounge spotlight as the synths blare.

The Landed - Things to Talk About - July 28th 2014.
The Landed are Paul, David, Paul and Dan, four committed musicians from Coastal Essex familiar to each other through different bands and incarnations of what The Landed are today.
Combining strong home grown rhythm and blues influences with some fresh acoustic melodies and vocals that swing from gravely to positively blue sky, these guys have left behind a trail of wowed audience in their 2 year career.
With plays form BBC Radio, including 6 Music, collaborations with top international producers and some rave review in 2013, The Landed are having an even better 2014, playing a 25 date university tour with Coffee House Sessions and festival slots such as Canadian Music Week, Toronto and Ipswich Music Day in July.
'Inventive songs and great musicianship' Stephen Foster - BBC Radio Suffolk.
Lead vocalist Paul has a voice that’s full of character, sensitive and rich - and it is empowered by the organic, subtle harmonies in the extremely-catchy chorus.

Andrew Vanstone has been making great music for longer than he cares to remember, managing to combine and weave between the rough and energetic, the more technical and melodic, and the deeply soulful and honest. Whichever of those song-writing moods he's in, he also always manages to add a healthy dose of catchiness, leaving you humming along for the rest of the day.
a five-track EP, where he finds room to swing between the upbeat energy of rocker-with-an-acoustic-guitar artists like Charlie Simpson, to the smooth, heartfelt melodies reminiscent of At-His-Peak-Morrissey.

Tom The Lion - 'Silent Partner' is released on Monday 28th July 2014.
Sleep gets more intense and irresistible with every listen. This superbly assured body of songs marks the rise and rise of an outstanding new British voice. Tom the Lion is a young Londoner who writes, plays and produces every note of his material – a uniquely rich and varies tapestry of sonics and songs
All of which is a quite a long way from Leamington Spa, where Tom was born and made his initial musical explorations. The first of those were at the piano, on which he took some rather unwilling lessons, and he played some trumpet, under the gaze of his father, who plays jazz saxophone in various bands and works in sound design.
Education arrived on record both from esoteric figureheads, but also from masters of the melodic. "I had quite a strong Jazz influence from my Dad when I was growing up, we'd listen to lots of Miles Davis and Chet Baker. But always alongside more classic songwriters. My mum was a big fan of Rickie Lee Jones and Bob Dylan, and we'd listen to things like Peter Gabriel and Suzanne Vega with my Dad, very melodic songwriters with high production values. So inevitably, those things are reference points somewhere.”
Much closer to home, inspiration turned out to be just across the street. “We lived opposite a notoriously amazing drummer. My dad knew about him, but they didn’t really know each other. My parents were always saying I should be a drummer, because they felt some sort of rhythm in me, and eventually dad organised a drum lesson with this guy, when I was about 13. I was literally hooked from that point on, I was completely mad about drumming.”
That signaled Tom’s introduction to the road, playing drums in bands from the age of 15 and looking up to stellar session men like Steve Gadd. “That was when I realised that perhaps it wasn’t about being one of those top session guys,” recalls Tom. “It was about trying to make music.”
So he did. “I got a laptop, and I used to take samples off records and old movies off the TV,” he remembers. “I was obsessed with people like DJ Shadow and Four Tet, so I was really into electronic music. I wasn’t singing at that point. I was also drumming and using that kind of knowledge, but it was always just a fun hobby.”
“I was about 16 when I started thinking about writing in a more conventional way with instruments, and that’s when I went back to piano. It was pure exploration, like I was a producer and I knew what I wanted.”
When he left home and moved to London, Tom worked in bars to stay afloat, all the while expanding his sonic exploration. Feedback from friends was always positive, driving him forward, and further huge encouragement arrived in that insightful enthusiasm from Rough Trade, leading to the two EP releases. “Rough Trade championing me to the degree they did has been a massive help,” he says. “You need validation, and that’s what that did.”
A subtly confident, cutting-edge sound was being born, and so was the recording persona of Tom The Lion.
Tastemaking Radio 1 DJ Rob Da Bank heard the EPs at Rough Trade and invited Tom The Lion to record a session. “I’d never done anything live before, other than lots of drumming, and I hadn’t thought that much about it, because it was a bedroom project. So then it was, ‘How do I go about trying to make this live?’ because obviously it’s very different to quietly whispering into a microphone, whilst the neighbours are out. That’s when I first started singing properly.”
The album “Sleep” reflects Tom’s allegiance to the plaintive acoustics of Jeff Buckley and Sufjan Stevens, but sounds triumphantly unlike anything or anyone else out there. With songwriting like this, and live performances now part of his DNA, the possibilities are boundless.

Mercutio earned their spurs the old way, gigging on the underground alternative music scene and playing rock venues throughout the UK and across Europe.
On the track "Back to Nowhere" frontman Mirko says "This track talks about every person towards the end of their life.  How they begin to reflect on how they have lived their life. The things they’ve done but most importantly what they haven’t done. Because of fear? Egoism?  Anger?  They see how all these decisions and actions have impacted their life. So the message is to live life to the fullest now and in every moment and don’t let fear, anger and all these emotions control your life as you’ll only be left on your own with just material achievements to comfort you in the end".
