The Cheek Of Her who is based in London, England.
Described as being fun, enjoyment, expression and good catchy Pop rock tunes, The Cheek Of Her have been creating a huge buzz on the London music scene through relentless gigs and headlining nights there. The release of her debut EP last year has resulted in her having comparisons to many quirky female artists such as Patti Smith, Gwen Stefani and Wallis Bird as well as modern day Cranberries which may be down to Helen Dooley’s Irish roots.

Daniel Pearson
His debut album 'Satellites' was acclaimed by national/online press and national radio in the UK, Europe and Australia last year (see press quotes below) and the talented singer-songwriter has drawn previous comparisons to Ryan Adams, early Bruce Springsteen and REM.

Hadrian’s Union who are based in Cumbria, England.
After meeting in 2008 at the Carlisle Folk & Blues Club, Stew Simpson being a punk rocker dabbling in acoustic music, and Danny being a fulltime Bluegrasser, the unlikely pairing of these musical styles brought Hadrian’s Union together resulting in a unique blend of thought provoking lyrics with sharp acoustic passionate musicianship.
Since their formation, Hadrian’s Union have written and recorded two albums, and performed at Folk clubs and festivals all over the UK, not to mention appearing in the background of several feature films. The band will be releasing their second album titled In Your Own Time, on 03 December, more details about this along with further information on Hadrian’s Union can be found on their websites www.hadriansunion.com

Unsung Lilly
Unsung Lilly consists of two outstanding vocalists, Sera & Frankie (who also plays keys), and are backed by the boys Wayne, Allan and Russ in this quirky 5 piece pop outfit. The band has a very live feel to their music and has been likened to 'a modern day Fleetwood Mac' - due to their contrasting vocalists and raw musical feel.

The first glimmers of this outstanding act started on 29th April 2011, when the musicians (who had been playing together in a commercial covers band) were selected as the band to perform in Hyde Park as part of the Royal Wedding celebrations. The huge crowd was estimated by one newspaper as 300,000.

'We were all stood on that stage, playing covers and looking out at a sea of people, feeling on top of the world,' explains Sera. 'We decided there and then that we'd start writing our own music, and its all come very naturally since then.'

The band quickly developed from that point, and this year has brought them festival slots at Guilfest & Weyfest, and at Belfast Pride celebrations, playing to 25,000 +, and has built up a worldwide fan
base of loyal followers.
'It was hugely important to us to keep our music very real and vibey - there are no layering parts to make things sound bigger than they are. We wanted our recorded songs to sound real, like they would when you hear us live. We're really passionate about that!' says Frankie.

'Happy' is due to be their first single release, being a fun pop tune that does exactly what it says on the tin….brings a smile to your face and makes you….happy! A string of subsequent singles await, and of course a much anticipated album.
The band are showcasing in the BBC Club alongside singer-songwriter Alex Louise on Wed 23rd January 2013.

Edge of the Ocean

Edge of the Ocean is an experimental music project based in Colchester, Essex. In the summer of 2010, Connor McBurney started making some demos for Edge Of The Ocean. At the request of listeners he eventually decided to bring together some other musicians and re-record them. Jon Westera's job was to provide some driving guitars and meaty bass to Connor's flamboyant piano and synth lines. Dan Abbott was brought in to drum all these loose ends together . These efforts finally resulted in Edge of the Ocean's first album: "Insincerity".
The album was released online in March. since then we have been playing live mostly in a new stripped down one piece format with project leader Connor McBurney, who sings and plays keyboards. We are currently preparing for a small tour of the UK in spring 2013 and festival appearances to be announced soon
album is available on itunes and all good on online music retailers. More samples can be found on facebook and youtube.

Boy Called Bernard is the brainchild of singer-songwriter Bernard Binns who decided on a collaborative project to produce radio-friendly, fun pop music… with a twist. The band’s first release is the extremely catchy “Get Your Head Together” which features vocalist Rebecca Reynolds.

Boy Called Bernard is not merely a studio band as the intention is to take to the road during 2013 and the band is immediately available for unplugged sessions in-store and on live radio. The initial feedback to the track “Get your head together” coupled with the fun video lyric-based lo-fi, comic book-style video has helped it to gain extensive airplay across the UK and internationally.

Born in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, Bernard was brought up in South Africa where he formed the pop band, The Helicopters which burst onto the South African music scene with the infectious hit song Mysteries & Jealousy. Signed to WEA Records and later Epic, the band went on to have numerous Top Ten hits which included Whisper Your Secret, Only for You and Don't Want to Live in Hollywood and topped the national charts for some four months). Bernard moved back to England in 2004 where he continued to write and produce and has recorded a number of solo albums.

Rebecca Reynolds is based in St Albans and has worked with Steve Levine, Mike Stevens, Judie Tzuke, Graham Gouldman, Kevin Godley and many more.

Natural Tendency
Born from the ashes of the vibrant Bristol music scene, euphoric rock five-piece Natural Tendency explore a new direction in rock music and bring it to life in a unique way. Natural Tendency formed when vocalist/songwriter Ed Taylor began studying at the Bristol Institute of Modern Music alongside other musicians such as Steve Sparrow of Morning Parade. Their recent self-titled mini-album, with production & engineering provided by Adam “Nolly” Getgood of US djent rockers Periphery, showcases their maturity and diversity in songwriting. Further to that, the band soon made a name for themselves on the live circuit, completing gigs in Bristol and all around the South West. These include a recent support slot with legendary British band InMe at the Swindon Furnace, and a sell-out release show for the mini-album at the Bristol Cooler. Outside of Natural Tendency its members have found other musical successes, with Bec Jevons (synth/guitar) joining The Blue Aeroplanes, who's recent ventures have included a live session on BBC 6Music. The band recently supported grime star Tinchy Stryder at this year's Youth For Youth Festival in Bristol."

tenek were formed in June 2007 by Peter Steer & Geoff Pinckney. The band's debut CD was a self-funded, limited edition four-track EP, which was released in September of the same year. Buoyed by the success of this release, the band decided to record an album and were duly signed by Matt Gunn to his fledgling Toffeetones label.

Album Review

You may not know the name Lee Fletcher but if you have listened to any music (locally or otherwise ) in the past few years then you will have heard his work.
Having made contributions of help and guidance to many other artists, including Grice on his last album.Where he played, arranged ,mixed and produced.

Cover
But here he stands on his own two feet showing us his true colours and showing that he is much more than a guiding hand for hire !
Faith in worthless things is an album of depth and grand statements in the least obvious way. It's magic needs to breath and unfold over several listens. It's a grower , not only for the listener but in its own stature as an artistic record .With help from long standing friend and collaborator Markus Reuter and featured vocals from Lisa Fletcher ( Lee's wife ) There is a distinctive thread flowing over these ten tracks . A diffused sound taking in elements of rock , jazz, electronica and Celticmeanderings It's cyber-folk for the 21 century . It even takes in the sounds of nature in a six o' clock wake up call kind of way .
Some may say its back ground dinner table music for the middle classes and their polite social circles but i would not be one of them.. Yes it's a musical album for the music led listener. If that's not you then stay away as this album will be a disappointment . But if you have an open pallet and a ear for something different then dive right it!Standout tracks Include " Life on Loan ,Is it me ( Or is it you)" which kick starts the album and The Inner Voice which is better than any of Sade's latest efforts .Enter with an open mind and you will be reworded .
Physical Cd is out on October 1 pre-order and get free download now. A live stream is also available -

Interview – Maz Totterdell

Interview – Maz Totterdell

From one sensation to another: today we can offer an interview with the obscenely talented Maz Totterdell. Channelling early Laura Marling without the plastic Americana, and drawing on a glorious tradition of female singer-songwriters starting with Joni Mitchell, Maz writes chipper, evocative folk music that could drag a smile from even the most seasoned hipster. From the bouncy optimism of ‘Smile On Sunshine’ to the introspective and touching ‘Counting On My Fingers’, her debut album Sweep is set to take the country by storm, and she was kind enough to answer a few questions before she’s overwhelmed by mainstream success. Oh, and did I mention that she’s only fifteen?
How are you feeling about the album, now that the release date is getting so close?
So far, the album’s done really well and I’m happy with how it’s been selling, but I’m really looking forward to when the hard copy is officially released because of all the effort I put into the artwork.
Have you felt under pressure recording Sweep after such a great response to your BBC Introducing session?
I actually recorded the album before the BBC Introducing session, when I was fourteen. I didn’t feel under any pressure whilst recording it though – it was done in a shed in the middle of nowhere, all the musicians were friends of mine, and in tea breaks we had picnics on the grass. It was a very laid-back atmosphere, perfect for recording a debut album!
How long has it taken to write the record? Was it an immediate reaction to your increased exposure, or were most of the tracks already written and in place?
I wrote quite a lot of the tracks when I was twelve and thirteen, and some just a few weeks before I started recording the album! So really, it took me about two and a half years to write the album.
How would you define success as a musician?
Success, for me, is being happy and comfortable with what I do – so if I end up with a decent fanbase who all love and get inspiration from my music, that’s success! I’m not too bothered about megastardom and international fame.
How did you get into music initially?
My parents are both musicians so I grew up going to gigs and watching them play guitar in the living room. I started playing guitar when I was about eleven and started writing songs straight away.
Do you see your age as something that could hinder people’s impressions of your music?
It’s very difficult question – I think age is just a number and should be overlooked, since it’s about the music, not the person – but I also understand that people might be slightly put off listening to my music because of my age. Saying that, there are a great number of musicians my age anyway, take Birdy for example.
There are elements of Lisa Mitchell and early Laura Marling to your songs, at least to me. Who have been your major musical influences?
Funnily enough, Lisa and Laura are both two of my biggest influences – they both inspired me a great deal, especially with songwriting. Also, Florence & the Machine (her lyrics are so beautiful). Taylor Swift inspired me to start writing songs in the first place, so I guess I owe her a lot!
What’s the next step and your plans for the rest of 2012?
I’m playing at a few festivals in the summer, and as many gigs as possible. I guess I’ll just have to see what happens – 2012 has been a good year for me already, and I’m just hoping it’ll get better and better!

The Down side of choice!

Drowning? The iTunes Store Now Has 28 Million Songs...

The content glut keeps getting worse, not better, and this is now a very serious challenge for artists of all levels. Because even musicians that make incredible music are finding themselves drowned, undiscovered, and frustrated by statistics like these.

"We now have a catalog of over 28 million songs and 45,000 movies..."
Apple chief financial officer Peter Oppenheimer during the company's quarterly earnings call on Tuesday.

A figure like 28 million is almost impossible to conceive. But it would now take a human being more than 266 years to complete the entire iTunes collection front-to-finish, or approximately three lifetimes. Of course, very few music fans are plunging the depths of obscurity to this level, meaning that the winners are typically those that have the luck, resources, and talent to land plum promotional slots on the iTunes splash page (or pages). Or, more likely, the blessings of a broader push that includes things like major terrestrial radio (yes), a major artist collaboration, or a great touring slot (festival or otherwise).
Which of course means that most artists are not cutting through, based on simple mathematics. But while most musicians lose money on iTunes, Apple is now generating mini-ransoms on the service. "The iTunes Store generated all-time record results with revenue of almost $1.9 billion in the March quarter, an increase of 35 percent year-over-year, thanks to continued strong sales of music, video and apps," Oppenheimer continued.
But this also represents a huge challenge - and opportunity - for music startups and services. Because there's simply way too much stuff! Which starts to explain Spotify's push towards app-based curation, Pandora's insistence on limited collections, X5's clever approach towards SEO and digital packaging, and constant angling by discovery-oriented startups like Moodagent and Soundrop.
But perhaps artists are struggling with the most complicated riddle of them all. And the sad reality is that the next Jimi Hendrix is probably now buried in a pile of 28 million, statistically doomed to a life of obscurity.

Gig Diary ......

THE PATRICK JAMES PEARSON BAND

ONE OF THE BEST LIVE BANDS IN THE COUNTRY
SET TO PLAY INTIMATE GIG AT THE STUDIO LOUNGE

After rocking Glastonbury Festival, an amazingly successful UK tour with Hard-Fi and a triumphant show at the world famous Shepherd’s Bush Empire, The Patrick James Pearson Band are back out on tour and they're coming to Totnes to play the Studio Lounge. Taking place on Friday 27th April, it’s another must-see gig from local DIY music promoters The Black Bird Collective!

With three sell-out shows under their wings, The Black Bird Collective are starting to make quite a name for themselves by putting on atmospheric nights of top quality up and coming artists and this promises to be another cracker.

The PJP Band sound has been linked via reviews to artists including The Stooges, At the Drive In, David Bowie, John Lennon and Les Savy Fav. Frontman Patrick is a big fan of all things Sub Pop and this “grunge” attitude is evident in the band’s live performances which are high on energy, conviction and attitude.

The PJP Band have been going down a storm on BBC 6 Music with Tom Robinson calling them “Astonishing for a 3 piece keyboard driven outfit, real grit and power, more power than most guitar bands”.

After a triumphant performance at Glastonbury 2011, the band were the ‘most shared’ artist on the BBC Glastonbury website home page for a good 36 hours - beating off competition from Ed Sheeran and Wu Tang Clan.

The PJP Band have been in the studio with record producer extraordinaire Pete Miles (The King Blues, Crazy Arm), working on a new 5 track EP - ‘Disciplines’ - which includes the single ‘I Am A Racer‘ due for release this month.

“Imagine Sufjan Stevens doing ungodly battle with Fugazi while Ziggy and Iggy look on, preening and punching” - Lee Trewhela, What’s On

With world domination just around the corner, it’s unlikely you’ll see this band live in a venue as intimate as the Studio Lounge again, so book tickets now to avoid disappointment!

Tickets are very limited and cost £4 in advance from The Studio Lounge on 01803 862267 or online at www.studioloungetotnes.com and www.wegottickets.com or £5 on the door.
You can find out more about The Black Bird Collective online at www.facebook.com/theblackbirdcollective

Review -Open the Floodgates

Devon band The Rising return with a new E.P. hot on the heels of last years bombastic creation that was " Lines of Evolution"
The new five track E.P "Open the Floodgates"however is quite a different animal. Minimal in tone but still with a shameless pop hook. That is fast becoming the groups signature .
Something that slaps you in the face on opening tracks " See how we move" ,Again And Again ,both dispensing with the landscaping form of the last E.P instead it seems to have grown into a newly developed synth heart beat courtesy of new member jamie Rowland .
With the latter almost Begging for a summer club remix.
If your not humming along by the time third track "Take Me There" hits your ears then you surely must be dead .
To the bands credit they never exchange the hook for great lyrical content. Something that can be overlooked, but that's never the case here.
Like all good parties we leave early to experience the comedown that is "What Love Feels Like" probably their best songwriting to date and demonstrates the bands growth . A slow atmospheric grower that builds up into an almost gospel peek " put your hand in mine and walk with me to the finish line" Well that's how it should have been left.
Unfortunately the last track "Hold On"( a re-record of a past free download ) Takes up valuable room like the smelly kid at school who hangs around with the cool kids to avoid getting battered. Don't get me wrong it's a great song ,one of my favourites from their back catalog.
The fact that it can be turned into another feel demonstrates this. But considering the band have reportedly spent the last few months writing ten or so tracks a week makes it even more maddening that it has been given the room on the record. It really should have been left as a hidden track or a reprise on any future album, in favour of a new song.
This however is a very minor thing and one that shouldn't detract from the fact that The Rising are a force with a long future ahead of them. Don't be scared, they write good tunes , can sing , have great lyrics. Why relegate them to a guilty pleasure ? Be proud , come out and say we salute you!
Their boys in a band .Does that make them a boy band? No they are quite simply a great band that demands your support!

Fancy a gig this sat 14 at the Spinny ?

STILLYANO were formed in Exeter, Devon in 2002. At the time, this 5-piece consisted of Stilly (lead vocals, lead acoustic, electric guitars), Dan (piano, keyboards, backing vocals), Richey (bass, backing vocals), Dave (rhythm guitars, backing vocals) and Big Al (drums, backing vocals).

Having been gigging in and around the South West, they have gained notoriety for being a band not to be taken lightly or dismissed as "just another local band". They have garnered a reputation as a real treat for those who know how to appreciate quality musicianship, top-notch original material and impeccably tight and talented performances.

Influences go from Bon Jovi to Bread, Dream Theatre to James Taylor, Paul Weller to Oasis. The mainstay of Stillyano's songs are hook-laden riffs, catchy melodies, attention-grabbing arrangements and accessible, yet poignant lyrics often aimed at those who have lived a little. It is music for those who have experienced a few of life's ups and downs. Their songs can pick you up, bring you round and get right down deep under your skin.

In 2010, the original line-up of Stillyano decided to go their separate ways, but after a brief hiatus a new Stillyano is in place consisting of Stilly (vocals/guitar), Seth Dunnett (bass) and Ian Kendray (drums). The new Stillyano hope to head back into the studio for some more writing and recording soon. In the meantime, they plan to gig as much as they can this year across the UK.

A word of advice: catch this band up close while you can.

Castles-Sorry ( single review)

Castles -Sorry

Brixham band Castles finally drop their first professionally recorded studio single in the shape of "Sorry"
and I am anything but sorry to hear it.!
The studio experience seems to have pulled out all the best bits from within the band.
Starting off with a simple nursery rhyme guitar riff and play on word lyrics before the drums and bass turn the ever growing backdrop into a monster musical landscape that seems to match the ever dark and honest lyrical content.
"You found me in this broken ground .You found me in this wasted town "
and thank god we did!
Expecting this band to grow and grow . This is good but i hear a band looking to do much better. The opening shot has only just been fired.!

Go Maz....

At a mere 15 years of age Maz Totterdell is stamping her name pretty hard on the music scene.

On top of her homework she has managed to squeeze in being featured on BBC Radio 2, 6 Music and BBC Introducing and her debut album Sweep is out on the 2nd April.

Her voice has the maturity of a wise Godmother, reassuring you everything is ok. Her technical ability, sweet nature and composure all add up to an A* in our books.

We predict Maz will be filling headphones far and wide very soon.

Check her out for yourself at the Bull & Gate in Kentish Town on 4th April - and listen above for the mellifluous tones of 'Kaleidoscope'.

The Red Bullets
3 piece chart music band

at The Spinning Wheel

The Red Bullets often go out as a three piece, Pete on lead vocals and piano, John on bass and Mark on drums and backing vocals, something which developed from an experiment during a tour of the West Country in 2010. This has become yet another dimension for the band, in addition to the 4 and 5 piece performances and Pete’s solo performances and intimate shows with a string quartet (these are few and far between and well worth looking out for).

The Red Bullets have a strong, loyal following who are the backbone of the band’s existence, and it is this that allows this energetic, fun and committed band of musicians to continue to grow and evolve.

Album Review

The Con -Sorrow Street

A band that may sound familiar.
Four guys wearing their mod , Paul Weller & The Jam influences on their sleeves. Delivering songs, all clocking in at under 3,5 minutes & sounding like a karaoke house band with your record collection in toe.
Who cares?
Well you should because what sets these four guys apart is a song craft beyond the obvious .
Delivered in a simple Cd ,understated paper sleeve .A black & white picture on the front .with only the track listing for information.
This is an album that sounds like the past, but somehow feels very current.
Against the back drop of an economy in free fall, & anyone under 25 feeling neglected , unemployed and angry will connect with these snarling straight talking tunes .
Sorrow Street, Last Gang in town , Sound Of Guns & Riot kids( recorded before last summers troubles ) say it all with a confident excitable swagger that's not to be unheard.
The only negative is that sometimes it sails a little to close to the past.
But some may say that the mess & state of the world at present ,has a direct whiff of 1979 about it , so who can blame them.
If your life's a mess. It's gone to the dogs at best ! As The Con would say

From out of the shadows & free from the limitations of a covers club singer steps Becky Brine.

Review -Grice -Propeller

Propeller like many of the best debuts is a blindingly obvious mix of influences used to shape a truly breathe taking, life absorbing album that will be the listeners companion for years to come. Swinging from electro folk pop to grunge funk , embedding itself in the listeners subconscious .
Remember the excitement of hearing that sound, the one that made you want to stop, look at yourself and say " that's my path". Well these thirteen songs may just be that trigger ,for the next generation.
Grice ( London born now SouthWest
based singer songwriter ) delivers his first full length album with seamless ease. Starting proceedings with patiently , an instantaneous hit. Dripping with the past , present and future feel of a lost soul classic the fastest and most absorbing six minutes you could ever wish for .
A brave move that asks the question could this have peaked already ?
Over the course of this record that fear is soon put to bed as the listener gets lost in the twists and turns created by Grice .
Music is art and this is one of the most beautiful, romantic ,dramatic,
pieces of personally crafted song writing you will ever hear.
Gushing I know and quite frankly embarrassing .
Grice is Grice and long may he continue to be so.

Who Are The Castles?

Who are Castles?

On their first recorded track called " All I Have "they ask the questions......
What is it like with a new set of eyes?
& all I wanted was something new?
Well this four piece from Brixham are trying, well musically.

They dare to by -pass the obvious option of being just another covers band.
The group go straight to producing their first original track. "All I Have" which finds the group in fine, fully shaped form.
Complete with rhythmical drums, bass and a juddering guitar sound
(think vampire weekend)
Give them a chance, praise their vigour and they may just repay you.!

Album Review

Beautiful Monday album - DIElle

From the first perfect note of the title track ( beautiful Monday ) you feel like this really is the inside workings of Dielle's mind. Slowly taking you the listener on a journey, savouring every last word and it's meaning.

This is more than an album it's a new best friend , one you will see, hear often.
These unique set of songs feel more like moments in time, recorded for posterity in the form of music and lyrics .
Stand out tracks Strangers and
Sapphire Tears may deal with the usual topics of love, loss and the human emotion but it succeeds in doing so in a fresh way. This is testament to Dielle's leap forward in songwriting terms.

This is an artist coming if age.
Stop, hear, never look back!
2012 first new favourite album of the year.

The Beacons EP " Dark Room" EP

Devon's finest return with their new E.P entitled ‘Dark Room’
The Formula is the same as many, drums, vocals, guitars. Hardly reinventing the wheel.
Well actually it feels like it.

Five tracks bursting with an excitement and urgency that transports the listener to a place most music goers haven't been in a while!

Kicking off with Remember me.
A call to arms in musical form. From the first note, not only signalling the arrival of the EP but the band as a whole. It shouts, screams, shakes and takes the listener in by the scruff of the neck! The beacons have arrived.

Quickly followed with the pounding of drums, a choir of guitars and bass riff that is the man who digs the ditch!
A song with a roof-top sing along quality that you can imagine a thousand lads nights being played out to. The song is so catchy that it actually hurts, no wonder it was our first taste of the EP.

Lungs & Will Josie Dance? Follow through with the knock out punches, and proves that the beacons can't be labelled as another guitar band. With their almost nursery rhyme quality. The personalities of drum, bass and guitar all merging into one before each taking their turn to shine in the solo spotlight. This seems to be a thread through this record and ensures it never feels crowded or rushed. It's a unit working as one with only the music on it's mind!

To end there's Gyro. Starting off with a gentle riff and drum loop groove before seamlessly turning into a schizophrenic cousin for the moshpit generation. Thus bringing to a close quite possibly the best set of songs to hit your ears this side of 2012.
The Beacons. Have you heard of them? ...you soon will have!

These Reigning Days" support Metronomy

From the ashes of the Quails, Dan Steer takes to the stage with his new band "These Reigning Days" to support Metronomy

The band have only been together a month but have already written a small back catalogue of tunes.
As soon as the three members take to the stage, lined up in a row. Drums equally centre it is clear that this is a real band, not just Dan Steer and new friends!

First song Changes surely a single, Sets out the statement of intent but not the sound of this new band. Its refreshing not to know what every song will sound like from the first note!
A slow building dynamic landscape of epic range is still ringing in my head.
Each member playing a vital part in painting such an inviting picture.
Joe Sansome on drums with Johnny Finnis on bass, working in harmony creating peeks and interesting musical holes for Dan’s guitar to fill with lush wayward notes.

Three songs in and considering that for the majority all is new to the ears, the crowd never seems bored, quite the opposite.
There seems to be a sense of anticipation. Dan at ease asking us, the crowd to come closer, inviting mutual picture taking for the Facebook generation.

Then comes the sucker punch in the form of quality single like tune Living It Up
A song that feels like it has always existed in the way a best friend should .All your favorite anthems rolled into one like some feel good glutton chained to the pastry table at a party made for one. This song has a for you and you only quality which makes it the standout track of the night.
From here on in the band own the crowd with the next set of tunes cementing us to them.
Then it's over, gone before it had arrived, my only disappointment.

Did they outshine Metronomy ?
Well they were never going to but for a band a month old they came as near as most could

January 2012 marks the start of the real test with first single and album following later.
On this Form it should be an intently anticipated musical ride.

Remember These Reigning Days and where you saw them first.
Blink and you will be seeing a sing-along tribute band called These Raining Days never quite as good but the nearest you’re going to get without spending a fortune
See the real thing while you can!
