HORSE PARTY

‘What Do You Need’ is the new single by Horse Party, 2 girls and 1 boy from Bury St Edmunds Rock City.
Horse Party got together in September 2012 after a night spent drinking in a church. Bonding over a shared love of Bjork, Savages, Daughter and terrible movies, the threesome hatched a simple plan: Firstly, in blanded-out times, to release records that sound like no-one else. Secondly, to either make or lose a million pounds.

A free download in January 2013 led to support offers with alt-stars Tunng, Pinkunoizu, Heartless Bastards, Shonen Knife, Dingus Khan and Vuvuvultures and a live broadcast via BBC Introducing from the new John Peel Centre for Creative Arts.  April 2013 saw the release of debut single, ‘Back To Mono’, followed by live EP ‘Scarlet & Blue’.

“Brilliant ... the pale, dead hand of Patti Smith on the tiller and the pop nous of XTC” Unpeeled

“cohesive, brazen and delightfully noisy”  Bearded Magazine

“Sounding like The White Stripes playing Fugazi covers with Beth Ditto ... the band have bucket loads of potential”            God Is In The TV

‘What Do You Need’, their first single for UK independent Integrity Records, is out on 11th November 2013.  Horse Party’s debut album, ‘Cover Your Eyes’, will follow in the new year.

The Tuesday Club

Described as ‘Dad's Army Spacerock, futurised revisionism and born at various junctures between 1957 and 1984, the age range and experience encased within this mysterious 8 piece, would put many of today's more established reformers to shame. Reaction to their debut single ‘Dolly Dynamite’ this summer was huge. From widespread critical acclaim to Q Radio plays the music media were pretty much on board the good ship Tuesday Club from the off. The icing on the cake for their debut year? An exclusive Loaded TV set recorded at the end of 2012 and broadcast in the Morecambe and Wise slot on Boxing day, well what did you expect?

“A cheeky little tune” Q Radio

“If you want music with a bit of a spark, a ton of swagger and a heap of fun I suggest you join me in signing up to The Tuesday Club” Rhythm & Booze

“Flippin’ wonderful. Probably the shortest review I have ever written but it really says it all – I will repeat; Flippin’ Wonderful!” Andy Snipper – musicnews.com

“This is clever while staying absolutely exuberant, and The Tuesday Club are one of the most exciting acts I’ve heard all year.” AAA Music

“If Roxy Music were doing the Rocky Horror show, they'd sound like this” - Steve Honest

"It's all about the music, we are deadly serious about our commitment to each other, but that certainly doesn't mean we can't do it with a smile". enthuses front man Andreas Vanderbraindrain. "There's too much pomposity, too much sucked in cheek blue steel ethic, especially in London . The Tuesday Club just play for the love and the joy, we set our phasers on FUN and go for it, it's time for ‘New’ Glamour... that's where 6ft chanteuse The Minx comes in darlings… ‘GLAMOUR with a capital G’

The whole band have a look and style that falls somewhere between The Rocky Horror show, Oh Boy!, Carry on Screaming, a BBC period drama and Dad’s Army. The Tuesday’s certainly give off a refreshing air of who cares, which has got to be worth something in today’s dark days of austerity!

The Tuesday Club are: Glabrous Fabulous - Thud Bass, Wasabi Penis - Heavy Lead, The Beautiful Wolf - Twang Bass, Andreas Vanderbraindrain – Vocals, Tittybar Telski -drums, The Minx -Vocals and Cowbell, J-Rod - Jangle lead,
Jerry Berry - Keys

Killaflaw - 'Broken Idol'

Liverpool based rock ‘n’ rave duo Killaflaw, release 'Broken Idol EP', on legendary independent label Wall Of Sound.
Named after a track by the late, great American bluesman Howlin’ Wolf, Benn Helm (singer/guitarist) and Andy Paton (electronics), better known as Killaflaw, skilfully fuse blues & rock ‘n’ roll with beats & dance music into a sound which has been described loosely as “Led Zep meet the Chemical Brothers”, “the missing link between Soundgarden and The Prodigy” and “a kind of 21st century Doors”.
With recent backing from Mark Jones, who signed the band to his label ‘Wall Of Sound’ with his very own flesh and blood at the end of 2012, this duo “have the passion, the soul, the raw power and the tunes. They’re gonna be massive.” DJ magazine.
Lead track ‘Broken Idol’, which focuses on the trappings of fame and the perils of post-Savile hero worship, is a pure electro-rock banger, fusing enormous revving electro riffs and New Order flourishes. “’Broken Idol’ is your classic tale of an egomaniac rock star, living life to excess, leading to an eventual downward spiral and inevitable self-destruction,” says Benn. “Hence the title, the idea came from a friend of mine talking about having your illusions shattered if and when you meet your idols.”
Killaflaw show their true diversity in sound with ‘Milk & Whiskey’ the slower of the two, which allows Benn’s husky blues voice to come into its own. “’Milk & Whiskey’ came about while on a writing session in Ibiza,” Benn explains. “While recovering from the night-before’s frivolities, I was reading about old blues singers and how they would drink milk and whiskey to line their stomachs. I thought, ‘What a way to cure what ails you!’ Definitely a song in there somewhere – ha ha.”
Techno twosome the DPPLGNGRS inject Killaflaw's lead track ‘Broken Idol’ with a healthy dose of electro drums, transforming it into a supercharged techno beast. Meanwhile Darin McFadyen, better known as FreQ Nasty, shapes Benn’s blues vocals through a Daft Punk-style vocoder, managing to turn the once innocent ‘Milk & Whiskey’ into a perfectly formed trap/dancehall banger, which wouldn’t feel out of place in his favourite stomping ground, London’s Fabric.

James Kirby who is based in, England.

Currently on tour in Spain where he has been holding audiences regardless of age with his beautiful and melodic songs and unique style of guitar playing, the future is looking extremely bright for James Kirby.
Having already performed alongside the likes of Labrinth, Matt Cardle, Pendulum, and The Hoosiers to name but a few, it is expected you will be hearing even more from James Kirby following the recent release of his EP, Distance Between which is now available to purchase via all major download stores.
Details on this along with soon to be announced UK and European tour dates can be found on his website www.jameskirbymusic.com or you can follow him on Facebook HERE

Ofei - 'London' is released on the 25th November 2013!
When you begin your year opening for Kendrick Lemar in Paris and Shuggie Otis in New York, you know you are off to a good start. Such was the fortune of Ofei who subsequently spent the summer drawing curious crowds to his one man appearances at UK festivals like The Great Escape, Best Kept Secret, Beacons and Secret Garden Party. Writing, arranging and producing himself, until now, Ofei has elected to set out his stall with the music alone (also check out the mixtape links below), his public reticence - to date he has never done an interview – helping create a certain mysterious ethos around him.
Several months on from the appearance of new material, a startling new track ‘Tomorrow’ suddenly dropped in mid-September. Picked up by major international blogs (Dummy, DIY, Planet Notion, Disco Naivite, etc) in a matter of minutes, it follows earlier tune ‘Fate’ into the blogosphere, each revealing a little more of Ofei’s personality.
The video premiere can be seen at Planet Notion.
This is Ofei's first official release, ‘The London EP’ - comprising ‘London’, ‘Fate’, ‘Tomorrow’, ‘Poem’ & ‘Risk’ - via One Little Indian on 25th November as a limited edition 12” and free download.
Previously performing live as a one-man show, Ofei unveils his full band with a free show at The Waiting Room on Thursday 28th November. Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
A dynamic mix of R’n’B, distorted soul and unearthly gospel, Ofei’s style feels incredibly fresh and original, ‘The London EP’ a manifestation of an unorthodox and unpredictable talent at work.

Dead Frequency
are a four piece Glam - Punk band. They were formed by founding member vocalist/guitarist and songwriter Matti Fantasi in Exeter in 2003. The Band was formed in high school purely to enter a radio competition to win a support slot with the  Kaiser Chiefs in London with a cover of the Ramones "Rock 'n'Rroll High School" after coming 2nd place the band (then titled Xploded) decided to regroup with a new guitarist and become Dead Frequency.

2013 was a turn around year for Dead Frequency and a starting point for elevating their career

They are currently performing in venues and have released an EP in direct response to this and have radio interviews lined up to promote this across the United Kingdom.

Lunden Reign who are based in Los Angeles, USA.

Since forming, the band have already wrote and recorded six new original songs at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London which also coincided with a very successful club tour of the UK that saw them perform 17 live shows in 16 days including the Fringe Art Festival in Edinburgh.
Their new single Savage Line was released on Veterans Day weekend and is about the new front line of war which never seems to end.  Described as powerful, haunting and driving music, you can find out more information on Lunden Reign including details on how you can purchase their material and forthcoming gig dates at www.lundenreign.com or you can follow them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/LundenReignBand

Exit State -This Part Of Me"
It's taken from their "Let's See It All" album, which was recorded in January 2013. Produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Matt Elliss at Axis Studios, Doncaster, UK.
The song is about that little area of self-doubt that people in most walks of life have in the back of their mind, yet self-doubt is the last thing in the thoughts of Exit State members Roy Bright, Peat Hicks, Phil Ireland and Matt Harris.
New live date added: Exit State are supporting GUN on 12th December at Manchester, Deaf Institute.
This band has been on the crest of a wave during the past couple of years through a series of support slots with Reckless Love, Andy Cairns (Therapy?), Zico Chain, Black Spiders and most famously a UK tour with Michael Schenker epitomised by a startling performance at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire.
Third album "Let's See It All" is the culmination of hard work both on the live circuit and in the studio, prompting these 9/10 album review comments from Powerplay.. "There were mutterings about them being something special.. now they've delivered.. deserves to be in the charts, nestling with the likes of Alter Bridge".
Hailing from East Lancashire, Exit State released debut album "Death Of A Rockstar" in 2010, quickly followed by "Black Veins" in 2011. Performances at Hard Rock Hell in North Wales and also in Ibiza, together with landmark appearances at SOS Festival in UK and Wizzfest in Belgium, also helped establish the band.
They were also buoyed by a no.1 slot for their "Lost Beyond Belief" music video on Kerrang TV.
Upon appointment as official patrons of chART - Children's Hospice Arts, the band celebrated with the May 2013 release of the "Crystalline" single (also from the "Let's See It All" album) with proceeds donated to the said charity and at which point Exit State were proud to be championed by both Bumblefoot of Guns n Roses and Wayne Findlay of Michael Schenker Group.
Exit State will return to the live circuit in 2014 with festivals and tours in planning for both UK and Europe.

Their second album is called "Kingdom of Fear" and has been produced by the band's long-time friend and I Am Giant member, Paul Matthews.

The three minute fireball single is destined to perk ears - combining masterful vocal performance with gripping lyrics on top of bountiful and thunderous guitar melodies. And that’s not forgetting the swaggering rhythm.

And Noffsinger has beat hundreds of others after being voted Singer of the Year. He was stoked!

Noffsinger and Darby formed Regulation Nine after meeting at a rock show in Nashville. The singer, desperate for form up a new outfit, left his home turf of Alabama to forge his music career.
Picking up Darby’s pal, Jeffery Wall, they scooped their bassist before enlisting guitarist Vincent Peer per chance at a gig.
Michael Rampa of High Octane Music News is one of many to endorse the four-piece.
He said: “Make no mistake - this Nashville based band can put the hurt on a set of speakers and will likely do the same to the charts when this inevitable breakthrough occurs.”
Pop Rise Repeat pundit Wes LuAllen added: “Rodney Noffsinger and his amazing band have a great shot of being something big.”

his is the new single from Nigerian born, BUSAYO.
It's released 8th July 2013 through In At The Eye Records from the forthcoming album "Flux Fusion" which is released later this year.
Busayo is now based in Maidstone, Kent in the UK.
Biography:
Busayo grew up listening to local Nigerian and foreign music acts alike with a deep curiosity about the basics of music and harmony which made acapella music much of a fascination.
This fascination eventually led to the formation of The Stewards - an acapella boy band based in Nigeria for a while, before most of it's members moved out to different parts of the world.
Among many, Lagbaja was a great Nigerian music influence, while the music of greats like Ray Charles continue to fascinate him.
Blessed with a songwriting skill that enhances his current musical discovery, Busayo has spent the past year creating and re-creating musical works of art. The songs within the album 'Flux Fusion' define emotions drawn in musical notes and explodes in multi-genre editions.
He records his material in his Xthetic studio at home.
‘Flux Fusion’ includes a wide variety of sounds - from dubstep through to ballads. We think you will love this album. We hope you enjoy Don't Let Me Go.

Debut Single ‘King and Cross’ b/w ‘Lupin Intrigue’

Ásgeir follows May tour with John Grant with July shows with Of Monsters & Men.
July 2 Bournemouth Academy
July 3 Bexhill on Sea De La Warr Pavillion
July 16 London Somerset House
At just 21 years of age Icelandic singer-songwriter Ásgeir has become a sensation in his domestic music scene - staggeringly, almost 10% of the Icelandic population now owning his debut album Dyrd í dauðathogn – the English version of which to be released worldwide this autumn as In The Silence.
Ásgeir made his UK live debut in May as support to John Grant and now makes his (English) recorded debut with a single, King and Cross, backed with Lupin Intrigue and set for release via One Little Indian on 12th August.
With his deft combination of electronic & organic instrumentation, Ásgeir’s vibrant, airy songs - inset with his distinctive melancholic voice and keen ear for melody - elevate their appeal well beyond the limits of the folktronica tag.
2013 has proved to be a fast paced year for Ásgeir as he warms up to the worldwide release of the English language version of his debut In The Silence: In February he was presented with no less than four Iceland Music Awards and nominated for the prestigious Nordic Music Prize on the eve of his Dyrd í dauðathogn‘s wider release in the Nordic countries. He appeared at Sonar and by:Larm festivals the same month before making his US debut in March, including two SXSW shows. This May saw his first exposure to UK audiences in support to John Grant, with whom he has collaborated on an English language version of Dyrd í dauðathogn - In The Silence, produced by Gudmundur Kristinn Jonsson.
John Grant on working with Ásgeir: "Working with Ásgeir has been quite fun and has also been very inspiring, although on some days I want to tear my hair out at how young and beautiful and talented and simultaneously nonchalant about it all he is. His knack for melody and gorgeous harmonies coupled with his amazing sense of rhythm and virtuosity on acoustic guitar should make him a household name, no matter what language he's speaking. I can say with total certainly, that at the age of 20 that I did not know my asshole from a hole in the ground. Or however that saying goes."

Convulsions who are based in Lancaster, England.

Described as having a distinctive riff based lyrically quirky original composition, Convulsions have been breaking through the British RnB  festival and club circuit over the years and gaining a reputation for their energetic live set, and lead singer Ben ‘Shakey’ Ruth’s on and offstage antics.
Having performed at SAM in Serbia, and a number of other popular festivals in the UK, where the singer has been known to climb trees while playing, drinking beer while playing the Harmonica at the same time, leaping in fountains and out of wheelie bins, it is no wonder more and more people have been talking about Convulsions resulting in sold out merchandise at shows and a number of radio stations playing their music.

Following the exclusive first play from Radio 1's Zane Lowe here's the brand new single from Blitz Kids 'Run For Cover'!
This follows the successful 'On My Own' from their forthcoming full length album 'The Good Youth' coming October 2013!
Blitz Kids - 'Run For Cover' is released on Monday 5th August 2013!
BLITZ KIDS new single ‘Run For Cover’ set for release August 5th / Brand new album ‘The Good Youth’ coming October 2013
- Recent tours with Young Guns and Lower Than Atlantis followed up with an October tour supporting The Blackout.
- Following on from Radstock and Slam Dunk Festivals, set to play Download Festival Sunday 16th on 2nd stage (11am), with more confirmed.
- Single available on download AND a limited edition, etched 7”
Having recently slayed SXSW Festival in Austin, played Slam Dunk Festival, toured the UK with Lower Than Atlantis, and then Ireland with Young Guns, UK four piece BLITZ KIDS can now reveal the brand new single, ‘Run For Cover’. The single, which will be released on August 5th on digital download AND as a limited etched 7”, is the 2nd track to be taken from the band’s forthcoming, brand new studio album ‘The Good Youth’, set for an October release date.
Jono Yates (Guitar) explains a bit about the track: “Run For Cover’ is a classic, fists in the air, lager on the floor, punch your best friend in the face and eat a kebab after you're finished kind of tune. It's about getting blagged by your missus when you're out on tour with the lads, and the challenges that come with being in a relationship when you're constantly on the road.’
The track can be heard here:
iTunes pre-order link is here:
The band can also now announce they will be supporting The Blackout across the UK in October, which Jono (Yates) explains has been a tour long planned: ‘It's been a long time coming, but we're finally on a full UK run with The Blackout. We've played countless shows with those boys, and it's going to be a ridiculous and quite frankly dangerous ordeal, sending us on the road together for two weeks. Come to think of it, whoever thought this would be a good idea should probably lawyer up, because they are responsible for whatever misfortune awaits. We can't wait!’
Previous to SXSW in March and these LTA dates, live wise, BLITZ KIDS have recently undertaken UK and European tours with the likes of We The Kings, DRUGS, Tonight Alive, Kids In Glass Houses, Mayday Parade, Mallory Knox, Escape The Fate and Canterbury among others. JOSH TAERK
New Single: ‘Grace’
UK Tour: July 2013
YOUNG CANADIAN SINGER-SONGWRITER RELEASES NEW SINGLE AND RETURNS TO THE UK
Canadian Singer-Songwriter Josh Taerk releases his second single, ‘Grace, August 26, 2013. Josh will also be returning to the UK to tour in London and Bristol.
"This is an artist who not only knows his craft, but oozes charisma" WITH GUITARS
"Channels the same story-telling lyricism of a young Bruce Springsteen with reflective tales of hope & optimism" FRONT
At 22, Taerk’s song writing and energized performances are mature beyond his years, having been compared to great modern storytellers such as Bruce Springsteen and Jackson Browne. His introspective and moving lyrics are perfectly demonstrated by the forthcoming single ‘Grace’, of which Taerk explains:
“Grace was written based on an experience I had with a girl at school. This girl found out I liked her and would lead me on but then date other guys. The song is an allegory for the responsibility we all have when we deal with other people’s feelings….At the time it was hard to see what I was getting into especially because of the feelings I had for this person. Looking back on it allowed me to see what was really going on and gave me the perspective I needed to write this song. The main character in the story loves this woman, yet the woman gives love to anyone willing to take it without considering the feelings of everyone involved, including her own” JOSH TAERK JUNE 2013
"Sweet sounds... catch him while he's in town" SPINDLE
Taerk’s UK shows will be a chance to witness a hypnotically brilliant performance from a rising star who is destined for greatness.

Do Miss America who are based in Bradford, England.

Taking their name from a Ryan Adams song of the same name, Do Miss America’s authentic take on heartfelt Blues Rock would expect you to think they are from a dust blown Midwestern prairie town and not, in their own words, a battered industrial wasteland of West Yorkshire which they call home.
Having gigged solidly around local bars and venues the following they have built has not gone unnoticed and has resulted in them being featured on local BBC radio and also support Marco Mendoza from Black Star Riding and Thin Lizzy, and with work already currently underway on a new album, it is expected you will be hearing a lot more from Do Miss America in the future.
Described as being more Americana than Bradfordian, you can find out more about Do Miss America including details on how you can purchase their album Songs From Desire Avenue as well as forthcoming gig dates on their website www.facebook.com/domissamerica or you can follow them on Twitter at www.twitter.com/domissamerica

Quack is back!
Just in time for summer Duck Sauce is making its return with the long-awaited follow up to its 2011 smash single ‘Big Bad Wolf’ with new track ‘It’s You’, set for release on 3Beat on 25th June.
Since debuting back in 2009 with ‘aNYway’, Armand Van Helden and A-Track have joined forces as Duck Sauce, bringing their inimitable and unabashedly fun take on house to clubs and festivals across the world. Following the inescapable ‘Barbara Streisand’ and ‘Big Bad Wolf’, the next move for the tongue-in-cheek duo is undeniably infectious new single ‘It’s You’.
Blending scuffed guitar grooves and classic vocal hooks with big drums and offbeat synth melodies, there is only one act that could be behind this track. Pure energy and fun, this is primed to follow in its predecessors’ footsteps as another unique anthem for the duo. Watch out for the official music video on its way shortly too; knowing the duo’s quirky sense of humour, it will be every bit as brilliant as the unstoppably viral ‘Big Bad Wolf’ video.
Since their emergence four years ago, world-renowned artists Armand Van Helden and A-Trak have delivered a string of fresh club and chart tracks as Duck Sauce. Amassing millions of views on YouTube and top 10 successes across the world while remaining resolutely individual, the duo continue to create some of the most singularly fresh and catchy house music around under the strange moniker.
