'Growing Younger' is the new single from Indie-pop band Wilhem Tell Me, who hail from Hamburg and Copenhagen.

Los Angeles, May 2014, sixteen degrees Celsius and overcast It's fairly early in the morning. Henning, singer of indie pop band Wilhelm Tell Me, removes his sunglasses; he's not in town for sightseeing anyway. Henning's on his way to see Lars Stalfors, producer and key player for The Mars Volta, a band that got pulled out of the underground and awarded a Grammy 2009. Stalfors invited Henning into his studio two days previously...

The cell phone is connected to the speakers and the demo plays. Lars listens intensely, and then, "Ok... wow These songs are awesome. They've really got something!

The two decide to work together on an EP. Just a few months later the record, containing five songs, is released under the title 'A Short Story For the Road'.

'Growing Younger' is taken from the EP and officially re-released on September 7th 2015.

The Band:
Henning Sommer (voc, guitars, keys)
Matthias Kranz (bass, backing vocals)
Paul Kaiser (Drums)

Pete’s debut EP features: Lead track Idolsan upbeat satire on societies obsession with celebrity. Doorstep Riots observations on life, being broke, the complacency of society & growing up living in BelfastAngel Faces, definitely a love song and Just Like You a real heart breaker!

It would be great to hear your feedback on this!

Pete Gardiner is a singer songwriter from Newtownards in Northern Ireland. He’s had a passion for music since the age of 6 when he first heard Slash play the opening three chords of "Knockin’ on Heavens Door". He got his first guitar when he was thirteen and developed a serious passion for rock music as only young teen boys can!

Pete is a true and clever lyricist, it’s in his blood. He writes about his circumstances at any given moment, his relationships with people, doomed romances, news stories that hit him hard and pretty much any thought that comes into his head. His music is strongly influenced by his idols; Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Bruce Springsteen. As his talents have matured he says of Dylan and Cohen “They are both as endearing as each other, they can take you as far as you are willing to go and then drag you that little bit further and I learn more and more from them everyday”.

For many of his early years Pete worked as a cashier in a bank, playing gigs around local bars at the weekends while also recording a few EP's, which gained a lot of local airplay on regional BBC stations.  Then, discovered by a radio network in the UK, he was signed by, entrepreneur Neil Utley’s label NUA Entertainment, which is chaired by Grammy winner Paul Hardcastle. Pete has just finished recording his debut album with award winning Irish producer Tommy McLaughlin (Villagers/ Soak) mastered at Abbey Road and has moved to London, performing nightly on the London club scene where he has been gigging every night for the past few months crafting his art of performance and excellent song-smithery.

Pete will be joining the London Mayor’s office to spearhead their ’London Busking’ event, which takes place in July. He will form part of a panel of experts to mentor new artists and will perform on stage in Trafalgar Square on July 18th in front of hundreds of people attending this event. He will also be recording for Bob Harris’s ‘Under The Apple Tree’ sessions in July.

After furthering his relationship with fans and critics with a run of well-received singles and many compelling youtube performances that contributed to his popularity, Damien McFly is back with a brand new track, "I can't reply".

On this particular song, the Italian singer-songwriter leaves the acoustic guitars in the back burner, allowing the piano to shine through as a main source of melodic content. The catchy opening riff truly defines the mood and vibe of the entire song, while Damien's lyrics add depth, honesty and character. The song truly opens up in the choruses, creating an uplifting energy that reminds of award-winning artists the likes of Of Monsters and Men or Mumford and Sons, just to mention a few.

Crossing over from pop to rock and folk, Damien managed to borrow diverse creative elements and turn his influences into his own unique musical language

"I can't reply" showcases yet another side to Damien's songwriter: he has mastered the art to add depth and complexity to songs that are simple and direct at heart, particularly thanks to his passionate and direct lyrical and vocal approach.

Released:   13th July 2015

Syron – ‘Talking Crazy’ (Radio edit, Original, AM 2 PM, DJQ)

Released: 18th September

Following Syron’s glorious comeback with new single “All I Need”, the pop starlet continues her string of smashes with “Talking Crazy”.

“All I Need” was the first piece of new material we’d heard from Syron in a while and instantly assured fans that South East London’s favorite dance-pop chanteuse was back and sounding fresher than ever. A silky smooth blend of laid-back R&B and garage enhanced by twinkling synths, a thumping bassline and Syron’s honeyed vocals it received support from MistaJam, Target, Majestic at KISS and Rinse FM. A finely crafted pop tune, “All I Need” is already ruling dance-floors and festival DJ sets this summer.

Her new singles come following a creative break in LA, but that’s not to say Syron’s music isn’t still buzzing with her distinctly UK sound. “Talking Crazy” is another gem to add to her growing discography; a rich, addictive pop song that’s got a vibrant 90s house vibe. Syron deftly adapts her rebellious girl power persona onto a danceable deep house and garage-inspired banger that oozes confidence and attitude.

Having collaborated with the likes of Tensnake, MNEK and Rudimental, Syron is now signed to London based Fame Music. On “Talking Crazy” we have Majestic - creator of super-juicy house cut “Creeping In The Dark” - displaying the talents of his production chops, with Offset and One Bittaking care of remix duties.

With her killer new tunes and party Riot Grll attitude the world is now ready to fall in love with Syron all over again.

Off Colour have had support slots with Bombay Bicycle Club and Rocky Nti, and a nomination for the newly formed UK Entertainment Awards in 2014.

Their underground appreciation is growing with Tinie Tempah blogging about them and features already on tastemaker sites such as SBTV, Pardon My Blog, Reload Sessions, Dropout UK and more.

It’s little surprise that they already have support within the industry, with Emeli Sande, and Ed Sheeran who after speaking on Twitter, treated them to a cheeky Nandos to discuss future opportunities, share advice and has remained a fan ever since!
They're releasing new single Touch Down on August 24th taken from their upcoming EP of the same name, coming later in the year.

Beyond The Break’s debut EP ‘Pictures Of Losing Sleep’ is out on 4thSept on 2P Records. The interesting thing about it, was it was all recording live to tape, preserving quality and will be released on Vinyl with track ‘The Way It Was’ racking up over 25,000 organic plays on Spotify already.

If you can check out their video for ‘The Way It Was’ from it here and let me know what you think, that’d be great- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBW5Vvd2b4s

BB Diamond joins the ranks of some of pop’s finest on the Turn First roster including; Ellie Goulding, Rita Ora, Iggy Azalea, Nicola Roberts and Lion Babe, amongst others.

Having gained support from Time Out London, The Metro, and The Londonist with her first album Blue Eyed Soul, Charlotte Campbell is back with her second album Making Waves, and she’s set to do just that. The lead single from the album, Songbird, has already got supporters on board, including Amazing Radio, where Charlotte secured a spot on the playlist after she came first in the Audition Poll.

After writing music for 10 years, Charlotte Campbell's career really began when she found herself on London's Southbank, guitar in hand and a case full of change. Lay Z has just dropped pure FIRE! The grime banger 'That's What I'm On', is produced by Teddy Music and features JME & Frisco. This track is reminiscent of the old school grim era, taking it back to its roots, with all the MC's murking each verse, and a memorable, catchy hook. JME & Frisco complement the track by adding their distinctive lyrical qualities, bars and content.

Lay Z is under the BBK camp these days and performed at the last Red Bull Soundclash, as well as going along to Jamaica where the guys filmed their documentary and video for Shakey. Complex picked up the audio premiere of 'Thats What I'm On' and the video dropped via SBTV last week and has already racked up over 65K views https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wO4qysZry7Q

You will recognise the 26-year old MC from one of the most memorable clashes on Lord Of The Mics with Marger, where Lay Z won based on his lyrics and no holds barred approach. However he doesn’t like to talk about it anymore just stating that he ‘JA Ruled him’. He went on to work a lot with BBK performing at Fabric where the crowd knew every word of his lyrics.

The talented emcee can also sing and is currently working on an RnB project. So look out for more Lay Z music coming your way in 2015!

The Curious

Meath man Noel Flynn grew up loving country music. The Athboy native, who lived in Nottingham for a number of years before returning to Meath, spent four years as a DJ prior to recording his debut album.
Noel started singing professionally about three years ago. His first album, Turn Back the Years, was released in December 2009. A nice blend of Irish and American country, it features songs as diverse as the Johnny McEvoy classic, Long Before Your Time, to Colin Raye’s Love Me and from the traditional folk song Hard Times to the Ernest Tubb number, Thanks A Lot.
The album attracted a lot of attention in the Leinster region and provided Noel with a strong platform to launch his singing career.  However, it was the release of his follow-up single Talking to Your Picture that secured a lot of airplay on radio stations across Ireland, thus giving him his first major break on the circuit.
“I was honoured to receive the Best Male Newcomer award at the West Limerick 102 Country Music awards in 2010,” says Noel.  “My second album, The Heart That Beats in Ireland was released in 2011. It includes Talking to Your Picture which was sent to me by Richard Harte, Wrong Oh So Wrong written by Vic Holroyd, and These Lips Don't Know How To Say Goodbye. and taking all the memories which was co written by vic holroyd and j d cole  This album is also a mixture of Irish and American country.
“In January I decided to get a band together on the road that features Declan Reilly on bass and vocals, Padraig Harris on keyboard, accordion and vocal, Brian Walsh on drums  and John Gleeson on lead guitar, dobro and vocals., a cover of the Don Williams song, Lay Down Beside Me, is getting some great reviews and plenty of plays at home and overseas.”
Also my further two singles the way you love me written by mark Everett  and let me be your one and only written by glen Flynn are both doing well on the airwaves
In 2013 saw Noel release a dvd  called the cowboy rides again and a new cd called my guiding light
Noel's latest single   gonna have a party is out now
