Info

Vagabond Flag is releasing his new single 'Those Old Days' on December 15th. Having worked with John McLaughlin on the upcoming album, it shows off a reminiscent quality of 90's British rock.

The song addresses taking a retrospective look on your life – the benefits of being older and confident, whilst also growing more and more cynical. It speaks of the excitement and innocence of youth before it fades, and pleads with the listener not to forget the beauty of impeccability and naivety that we are all blessed with when we are young. The track has been perfectly mastered, with soaring guitar riffs and laid back vocals that possess a reminiscent quality of 90’s British rock music The entire album has been thoughtfully written – the music and the lyrics expressing a dark and melancholy vibe which epitomises his views on life, relationships and resolving pain and loss. Even the name ‘Vagabond Flag’ has been carefully chosen for a reason – it is a direct quote from the Shakespeare play ‘Anthony and Cleopatra’, in which Octavius Caeser criticises the fickleness and shallowness of the populace. Vagabond Flag’s choice to make it his artists name represents his realistic appraisal, and ultimately, suspicion of fame.

‘Those Old Days’ is due for release on December 15th, with the album being released on the 12th January

ALTREGO, aka Belgian-born/London-based mulch-instrumentalist/producer Jasper Erkens returns with a brand new single ‘Coming At You’via Bonka Circus. Debut single 'Miraculous Epiphanies’ received wide ranging radio support from Radio 1 (BBC Introducing), Eddy Temple-Morris on Xfm, Tom Robinson on BBC 6 Music & introduced ALTREGO to the world. The live shows went down a storm at this year's European festivals – including slots at Belgium's Pukkelpop & Rock Werchter, where ALTREGO was the only unsigned act on a bill that included Metallica, Arctic Monkeys & Pearl Jam. Musically, ALTREGO straddles the crossroads of dance funk and the dirtiest '80s beats and basslines, all augmented with effortlessly catchy pop hooks. ALTREGO plays The Barfly on 11 November. facebook.com/altregomusic  /   twitter.com/altregomusic

Releasing his new single ‘Hello’ this December, Azzedine invites you into his world through poignant lyrics and memorable songs.

Combining remarkable piano skills and great vocal qualities, Azzedine’s music is packed with soulful R&B flavours, rhythmic pop classics and thought provoking ballads.

To date, Azzedine has performed at the likes of Bush HallThe Troubadour, Union Chapel and Indigo2.

Influenced by Bruce Hornsby, Donny Hathaway, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and many more, Azzedine’s addictive melodies are only matched by sensual, yet subtle lyrical stylings.

Azzedine was born in Nice, France to Algerian parents. However his love for music encouraged him to relocate to London - here he took on a higher education music course at the London Centre of Contemporary Music in order to pursue a career as a solo artist, songwriter and performer.

Working in a range of jobs to support his music - including driving celebrities to the red carpet at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, as well as playing in a covers band on board a Cruise ship - it has been a long journey, but one that has produced a stunning EP of work. ‘Hello’ gives us just a taste of this…
