"Caught In The Act".
Essex based singer - songwriter Gaurika Hayer has released her new single "Caught In The Act" taken from her forthcoming album 'Rises Again'.
She began her love of music singing in the school choir, performing drama productions and talent shows.
Gaurika has worked with some of the most influential music industry producers including David Frangioni who has worked with Aerosmith, Santana, Sting, Ricky Martin, Sir Elton John and Rolling Stones just to name a few.
She has performed at Madame Jojo's, Roundhouse in Camden and Kensington Hotel.
Hit recording artist Jon Secada has recorded backing vocals on Gaurika's song called 'Stronger'.
The new single "Caught In The Act" will be released on iTunes in November.

North East singer - songwriter Samantha Durnan has released her new single 'Who Would Have Thought'.

Samantha has toured at venues across the United Kingdom, she has work lined up in Dubai, LA, Houston and Australia.
She was invited by the BBC to attend the prestigious Abbey Road Studios to receive a Musicians Masterclass alongside some talented singer - songwriters and established artists.

The New Southern Electrikk cannot be easily categorised. Drawing inspiration from Psychedelia, Krautrock and Post-Punk, the band craft dark, mesmerisingly beautiful melodies driven by grinding, sexy undertones. Monica Ward's versatile vocals can be as ethereal as they are deep and soulful; capturing her audience in the palm of her hand with a voice that is sinister yet alluring.
Zach Davies' flowing guitar shimmers over StevenTajti's gritty, throbbing basslines with Rikki Turner's keys and backing vocals providing a darker edge. Jim Correy's drumming is brooding and purposeful giving The New Southern Electrikk a solid base on which to build soundscapes that are visceral yet sultry.
The band enter the studio to record a double A side single at the end of the month, with work beginning on a debut album in the new year, but they're already receiving a huge amount of attention. Less than twenty-four hours after releasing their first demo online, a cover of The Gun Club's 'Mother of Earth', two of the UK's most respected producers have shown interest in working with The New Southern Electrikk, and Evan Dando of The Lemonheads has declared himself a fan.

Desert Ships release the video for Skyliner - accessed by clicking the EP cover art and scolling through.
Directed by Julian Hand, an experimental filmmaker and light show artist who's recently worked with TOY and The Oscillation, Skyliner is based on a true story of a fatal plane crash. It's sung from the perspective of one of the passengers, and how they quickly they come to terms with what is about to transpire, embracing their fate. The track is heavily cinematic; a haunting guitar loop and hypnotic groove allow the dream-like melodies to weave in and among each other, all the while propelling the listener along unwittingly to a massive crescendo and ending.
Mikey (vocals/guitar), Daniel (bass/vocals), and Claude (drums/vocals) formed DESERT SHIPS in 2012, releasing their debut album Doll Skin Flag in the same year. The album, produced by acclaimed musician and producer Mark Gardener (formerly of seminal shoegaze band Ride), was met with huge critical acclaim. Alan McGee, founder of Creation Records described the band as having some great fucking songs and Mark Gardener described his time working with Desert Ships as a total pleasure, a total trip.
The London based trip-tonic three-piece describe their sound as heavily cinematic. lead vocalist Mikey explains how their songwriting process works:
"The majority of the songs start from loops or scratch demos I make which are then played to Daniel and Claude. We go through an old school process of playing them over and over until the groove and beats sit just right. Afterwards we work diligently tweaking top lines and hooks. The lyrics can either come fully formed with the demo or I finish them off as we arrange the song. Some tracks will never work live but are perfect for an album. I don't mean filler. some are better listened to driving in the middle of the night, others should be heard live and loud in a club with your friends. We have a huge amount of songs that are to be recorded."
Comparisons have been drawn with the likes of Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Flaming Lips, Tame Impala, and at times even the rousing film scores of John Barry. Mikey describes the bands music as a reverb drenched apocalyptic experience.
Have played numerous festivals since the release of Doll Skin Flag, and toured with the likes of The Prodigy, Band of Skulls, Babyshambles and The Rifles, Desert Ships have had radio airplay from XFM's John Kennedy, BBC 6 Music's Steve Lamacq and BBC Radio London Calling's Gary Crowley. They consistently receive radio play on local stations in the UK, US, Europe and South America.
The Skyliner EP was also produced by Rides Mark Gardener. Written last year, it covers themes of mortality and escape through tales of heart surgery, plane crashes, bombings, and the motorway doldrums. Some of the lyrics were finished off on a night train from Hanoi to Saigon, before Mikey flew back to London to go straight to the studio and record. "I was listening to Steve Reich's 'Music For 18 Musicians' a lot during this period. I still do now. I think it's one of the most incredible pieces of music I've ever heard. Somebody recently called us a dream wave trio and I thought that was pretty apt"

The Jacques are the bastard teenage love child of cockney guitar pop and just about anything that came out of New York during the early ‘00s. Two sets of brothers, all 16-21, they charge with their Britpop bayonets against the modern view that rock and roll with clever lyrics is dying. Brought up on a diet of The Strokes, The Ramones, The Jam, The Lemonheads and Elvis Costello, they brought their own brand of noisy pop punk to festival stages across the summer, most recently at Hyde Park in London, where they supported The Libertines.
They will release their debut Pretty DJ EP (recorded in Rockfield Studios with Dan Swift) through 25 Hour Convenience Store on November 3rd. Gary Powell, Libertines drummer and label co-founder, signed the band on the spot after seeing them perform in Hyde Park.
Formed in January 2014, and based in Bristol, The Jacques are: Bonnie Jacques (voice/guitar), Elliot Jacques (drums), Oliver Jacques (bass/voice), Jake Jacques (guitar).
