Info

Jess Kenton is a singer / songwriter from Derbyshire. From an early age music has been a focal point of her life; to pursue her passion she taught herself the guitar so she could hit the local open mic nights, she is an enthusiastic and energetic drama queen who ensures she is always in the spotlight when singing. When you get to know Jess you will find she is a very unpredictable character, her routine will change daily depending on how she is feeling, one day she may feel like doing various sports and getting dressed up socialising with her friends and family, however on another day she will be fantasising about a zombie apocalypse, eating pepperoni pizza, whilst watching ‘The Walking Dead’.

Jess has many experiences for such a young career, she was the winner of ‘Bring It On UK’ in South Shields, a finalist of the Open Mic UK, where she performed at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), and the Semi-Finalist of ‘Teenstar’. Jess has travelled to many locations and performed at various events and festivals such as the renowned YNOT 2015. As well as this, radio stations up and down the country have recognised Jess’ achievements, by broadcasting her original music, and helping promote her work via interviews and live studio performances. If Jess is ever at an event near you, then she would love for you to visit and show your support.

Genre-mashing pop duo LewRey will release their massive new single Never on Friday 20th May on all major download & streaming platforms. The track follows the success of their debut What’s Up EP & last year’s dancefloor-filling single Somebody, which saw the boys play over 250 UK shows, win over festival crowds & pick up new fans every step of the way in 2015.
Never is a pop anthem that showcases Lewis Reynold’s talent for instantly memorable hooks & yearning vocals alongside Ian Walker’s pounding, tribal drums that power the track. LewRey’s combination of soul-pop melodies, club-ready choruses & indie dynamics has already led to airplay with BBC Introducing & live sessions on regional stations around the UK, and their growing fanbase on social media regularly share their inventive medley videos online. The boys’ impressive musicianship and energetic live show has also blown away crowds at support slots with Professor Green, Example, Pendulum, The Japanese House, MistaJam and Aquilo as well as audiences at The CoffeeHouse university tour & various major festivals last summer.
To coincide with the single, the boys have announced a UK tour including a huge hometown launch show at Leeds University where they’ll be joined by Wretch 32 and Tom Zanetti.
See LewRey live at the following shows -
13/05 - LONDON, The Century Club
14/05 - LANCASTER, University Union
21/05 - LEEDS, Leeds University
27/05 - CLECKHEATON, Live Room
29/05 - HUDDERSFIELD, Five Bar
31/05 - SHEFFIELD, West St Live
02/06 - BIRMINGHAM, Actress & Bishop
09/06 - NOTTINGHAM, The Maze

'The New World Order' is taken from 'Pathways'; the second EP from fast-rising Cabin Boy Jumped Ship, which was released last week. Having toured extensively last year, including a run with Eskimo Callboy, the band are kicking off their summer with a headline run with On Hollow Ground.

KILLATRIX

Raised on Manga, metal and the undeniable influence of the Essex dance scene, Killatrix like to push the boundaries of rock, lacing it with electronica to create a hybrid, electro-dirt noise. Citing influences from the deep grunt of Nu Metal, the vocal genius of Gwen Stefani and old school electro, their sound is a combination of hard hitting beats, massive bass, fat guitars and gnarly synths, topped with powerful vocals.

With the Essex music scene in good health but local venues in decline, the band decided to get out into the world, building up an impressive portfolio of shows which has seen them secure festival slots at the likes of Brownstock and V Festival, supporting reggae-metal outfit Sonic Boom Six as well as being asked to support one of the bands biggest influences, The Qemists, on their 2015 tour.

In 2015 they released their first single Overcome to some acclaim, dubbed as a future classic by BBC Essex Introducings Ollie Winiberg, and have since released the follow-up single Bad Language, which has seen the band make a name for themselves in and around Essex and London. With new singles and a debut album ready to go, the band will be playing a number of supporting shows around the UK with a few European shows in the pipeline.

SinDii reveals playing live is what we do best. Every time we step up onto any stage we give it all weve got, always. Chris agrees, We all love what we do and the music we make. There are so many ideas that we want try. Its exciting!.

JO COOPER RELEASES FEEL GOOD ELECTROPOP SINGLE ‘TOUCH THE SKY'

Having performed on Australia’s number 1 breakfast show ‘The Morning Show’ as well as performing for Rugby League team The South Sydney Rabbitohs during half-time, Sydney singer/songwriter Jo Cooper is now aiming to push her talents global with this feel good electro-pop single, ‘Touch The Sky’.

The fun party song features an explosively catchy chorus and energetic synth-driven instrumental, produced by Brisbane beat smith Stuart Stuart. Grammy Award winning engineer Bob Ludwig (Madonna, Daft Punk, Coldplay, Nirvana, Train, Mariah Carey, David Bowie) personally quoted the track as “Catchy as Hell”.

Australia may be exiting summer right now, but here in the Northern hemisphere it’s right on time!

A self-confessed workaholic, Jo has previously dealt with work stress that left her so ill she had to be rushed to hospital. Recording her debut album hasn’t been any less stressful for Jo, she had to deal with a difficult producer who overcharged her only to find out she needed to record the entire album again from scratch with another producer. ‘Touch the Sky’ sees the artist lyrically relinquishing all the stress in her life and focusing on the good.

‘It’s an uplifting song, about brushing off the day and going out and feeling good about life’, explains Jo Cooper.

This single follows the success of her 2013 song ‘Stupid Boy’, a track which gained international attention with its Ministry of Sound house remix Produced by London electronic duo Hoxton Whores, the remix climbed into the top 100 reaching 20 on UK’s Music Week Club Charts.

In 2014 Jo released her highly anticipated debut EP, Running Free, along with her empowering single ‘Don’t Turn Back’, skilfully tackling the heavy topic of domestic abuse.

‘You cannot help but fall in love with Jo, one of those personalities that makes you smile when she’s around. Jo’s voice is beautiful and full of energy and her talent is only that of a star in the making’ – Carmelo Pizzino (Dancing With The Stars)

Her debut album is now in the works, due for release mid 2016, with single 'Touch the Sky' out May 20th.
