The new single from Erika Kelly is Talking This Over - as featured on her new e.p.

Released Oct 27th

Isle of Man singer-songwriter and harpist Erika Kelly is delighted to announce the release of her eagerly-anticipated second single and EP, “Talking This Over”.

Described as “a shining young star in the making” who is “undoubtedly going places” by Macs London magazine, Erika has teamed up with guitarist Malcolm Stitt [Boys of the Lough, Kate Rusby] and London Producer Joshua Rumble [Proxies, Faro] to co-write three more songs after her successful debut single “Better I Try”.

Already well known for her unique spin on pop songs by the likes of Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran, Mumford & Sons and Florence & the Machine, Erika is rapidly making a name for herself online, particularly through her YouTube channel DasLoverly where she has nearly 4000 followers and has had over 500,000 views.

Talking about her loyal followers, Erika explains that “I have attained a beautiful fan-base, who are the ‘loverliest’, most encouraging people! They make me feel consistently determined to achieve!”

21 year old Erika’s musical beginnings stem from performing traditional music in the Isle of Man. Singing old Manx Gaelic songs and playing Celtic music on the harp have undoubtedly given a distinctive quality to her covers of contemporary pop songs, and now to her original songs.

Currently studying for a degree in Psychology, Erika is also a keen lover of race walking and last year won the Midnight 20-Mile Stroll!

“Talking This Over” will be available for pre-order from 13th October to download from iTunes.

Erika and the band plan to tour and perform at festivals in the UK next summer.

Ummagma-
Formed in Moscow in 2003, Canadian Shauna McLarnon and Ukrainian Alexx Kretov have been consistently writing and recording music whilst living between Ukraine and Canada. Shaunas delicate airy gossamer-like vocals hold glimmers of Cocteau Twins, Stereolab, The Sundays, Curve, Lush, and Slowdive.  Alexx's guitar, vocals, synths, beats and programming create cinematic soundscapes with elements of Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, Bill Nelson and Brian Eno, enabling the listener soar above the music.

Ummagma debuted with 2 simultaneous LPs ('Antigravity' and 'Ummagma') in 2012. Theyve built on the success of those records by collaborating with Moscows Sounds of Sputnik on their New Born LP, which will be released by UK label Ear to Ear Records on November 21st 2014.

In 2013, Ummagma won the Alternative Eurovision, hosted by Amazing Radio, from 21 countries and repeated the feat in 2014 on Pure FM. They received 2 awards at the 2013 Australian Independent Music Video Awards, often feature in The Scottish New Music Chart, and landed a full-spread feature in Rolling Stone Russia. Ummagma has also caught the attention of Robin Guthrie (Cocteau Twins) and Malcolm Holmes (OMD), who have remixed tracks for forthcoming release.

Despite heavy turmoil in Ukraine, Ummagma are showing a solid footing, looking forward to a brighter future for Eastern Europe. In Kiev, this Canadian-Ukrainian team celebrates their freedoms, exploring the root of todays problems to create beauty in the face of hostility.

Kiev is the capital of Ukraine and the epicenter of massive civil unrest this year, but with this release of the same name, Ummagma rise above the decay and mayhem encountered in that country to embrace diversity and beauty, while taking their music in new directions. Kiev is a essentially message of hope.

This release is an impressive package featuring the original track Kiev plus 9 remixes from 9 fantastic artists from nearly as many countries, celebrating the splendor of the original composition in their own unique styles.

Auxiliary tha Masterfader transforms the duos work into an Italoesque electro-disco-pop gem.  A Copycat's handclap-dream-pop version is tender as a peach skin with a retro summer groove factor.  Statickman's synths shoot like laser guns into the retro-synth future.  A Copy For Collapse goes for a more experimental, industrial approach, while David Garcet's trippy chillwave edit brings downtempo bliss. Mikael Fas dishes up a beautiful trance-imbued deep house version. Celebrated Japanese chillwave artist Haioka takes everything to the next level with sounds reminiscent of an angelic playground. Sounds of Sputnik presents a stripped-down 90s indie version laced with synth-guitar harmony. Brazilian electro-child Mind Movies delivers a fragmented, dubby and loud breakbeat adaptation that probably comes closest to the actual state of mankind if we could listen to its rhythm.

The outcome shows that what is the end for one person may be the start for another. Even more important, it shows that beauty can blossom even in the midst of ugliness.

Emerald & Doreen Recordings is a German boutique record label for futuristic indie, chill & dance music, curated by dedicated audiophile music makers and lovers who pride themselves on selecting the most exciting original material they can find, engaging the services of the most innovative remixers.  Emerald & Doreen Recordings released Ummagmas Rotation/Live and Let Die single in December 2013, followed by the 'Lama' extended EP in late May 2014.

Dust Bowl Jokies who are based in Sweden.

Dust Bowl Jokies return with their new single The Wicked.

After meeting during a bar fight in March 2011, Dust Bowl Jokies have since gone on to create a huge buzz around their music in their home country of Sweden and beyond.
After hooking up with renowned producer Beau Hill who has worked with the likes of Warrant, RATT and Alice Cooper to name but a few, the band recorded 2 tracks with him which were included on their debut album titled Cockaigne Vaudeville.
Described as being groovin’ occult rock n’ roll, you can find more information on Dust Bowl Jokies including forthcoming gig dates and details on how you can purchase their material by visiting their websites www.dustbowljokies.com and

The Willow Band who are based in Surrey, England.

Despite only forming 2 years ago, The Willow Band have quickly risen to local prominence through playing many of the South of England’s key gig locations and festivals.
The release of their EP Under The Willow Tree has resulted in a large number of radio stations playing their material helping raise their profile even further and contributing to them being approached by Singer Songwriter Charlie Dore who has written for the likes of Tina Turner, Celine Dion and Lisa Stansfield to support her.  In addition to this, one of their tracks titled You Bring Out The Best In Me which was written about children with Autism, has been picked up by the Autism TV Channel in the USA to help promote Autism awareness.
Details on how you can purchase The Willow Band’s material along with information on forthcoming gig dates can be found on their website www.willowband.co.uk or you can follow them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/willowbandofficial

The last three years have seen The Talks working relentlessly to bring us a smorgasbord of bouncy, big hitting singles with 'Can Stand The Rain' featuring Neville Staple and 'Friday Night' creating a huge buzz online, replicated by the response of the crowd when the band have performed live.  With main stage performances at globally renowned festivals such as This Is Ska (DE), Mighty Sounds (CZ) and the UKs Rebellion, tweets of appraisal and support from new wave big hitters Less Than Jake, glowing reviews and cover features from Big Cheese and Vive Le Rock Magazines - not to mention appearing in programmes on various UK TV networks - the bands reputation has surged from strength to strength.

2014s recent singles 'Don't Look Behind You' and 'Radio' have paved the way for The Talks' long highly anticipated new album 'Commoners, Peers, Drunks and Thieves', and these cheeky Yorkshire chaps are gaining widespread attention on an international level. The album offers an insight into the versatility of the bands sound.  Light Up is an up tempo and anti-love song whereas Ceasefire featuring Itch from The King Blues is a hard-edged call to arms, a fast paced and dazzling assault on the senses.

Following another busy summer of festivals across Europe, the band will be taking their new album on the road with an extensive European tour planned for October and November.

Of the album, lead singer Pat Pretorius says "Its really personal.  Our last album 'Live Now, Pay Later felt more like a catalogue of songs, but this time it feels like a real album, a journey. We agonised over this, and we'd like to think it'll bring our audience closer to us, help get the idea and vibe across more clearly."
