We are very proud to present to you a new band from our roster Dead Days and their debut album "Start Over Again" that is coming out next week on Nov 3rd!
Dead Days are an Alternative/Rock trio, comprising of brothers Travis Marc (drums/lead vocals) and DC (bass guitar/backing vocals), alongside their long-time friend James Mattocks (guitar/backing vocals).
The band formed in early 2016 citing their key musical influences as Billy Talent, Green Day, Foo Fighters, and Biffy Clyro.
Their electrifying approach to song-writing makes them an exciting new prospect and differentiating them from their contemporaries is their live set, which sees drummer Travis delivering spirited lead vocals.

Aaaaaaaand…… relax. No? Alright then. Because when Asylums aren’t playing, recording, or running Cool Thing Records, they’re at their day jobs. Rumour has it they sleep occasionally too. And not being the types to rest on their laurels, Asylums are back with a brand new previously unreleased track “Alternative Occupations”. Taking brief holidays from the aforementioned dayjobs, “Alternative Occupations” was written and recorded in the Summer after the post-album release frenzy, and in the aftermath of Brexit. It ruminates on harsh education and health service cuts, post-Brexit Britain, and the running battle of grafting at creative efforts vs. grafting to keep afloat.
And there’s more… Asylums aren’t alone. They’ve now been able to make good on their promise of using Cool Thing Records as a platform for underground regional talent. Appearing alongside “Alternative Occupations”on a lovely limited 12” slab of white vinyl are three bands, who like Asylums, all graft at the day jobs and work in their own creative communities.
The short, sharp, shock of Petty Phase picks up where X Ray Spex and The Slits left off; riot girls antidote to the millennial ennui, all buzzsaw guitars and screeching group vocals. Thrasher skate culture collides with the edge and tenacity of early Dischord records, in the shape of Steve Lamacq favourites The Horse Heads, emerging from the same fresh and exciting Chelmo uprising scene as Freak, and Ratboy. And last but never least, BAIT leave you with a bloody nose but you’ll see the funny side, as the static hum of an itching brain broods and snarls over visceral post-punk riffs and battering hypnotic rhythms.

JOOLZ DENBY & HENNING NUGEL RELEASE 'CROW' ALBUM
Attack Attack Records are proud to release 'Crow', a unique collaboration between UK poet Joolz Denby and German composer Henning Nugel.
Joolz Denby has been a true underground renaissance artist since the late 1970's. As a poet, she was one of the principle figures to emerge from the post-punk generation, publishing seven collections of work and giving readings all of the world in countless different settings. As a novelist, she has published six volumes, including 'Stone Baby' for which she received the New Crime -writer of the Year award in 2000 and 'Billie Morgan', which was short listed for the Orange Prize for Literature in 2006. Fans and followers of long-running post-punk outfit 'New Model Army' will be familiar with Joolz through her record covers and visuals she has designed for the band for 36 years.
Crow will be her seventh studio album, with past collaborators including Jah Wobble, members of New Model Army, Mik Davis (Monster Jaw/They Called Him Zone) and many others.
Henning Nugel was born in Dortmund, Germany. After years of playing various instruments in emerging bands, he joined creative forces with his brother 'Ingo' and together founded Nugel Bros. Music. Focusing on music composition and sound design for games, their portfolio soon included clients such as EA Games, Funatics and Blue Byte. Henning is also a member of the Dynamedion team of composers and has written music for many of their prestigious game projects and TV scores. As a multi instrumentalist Henning is a member of acoustic folk act 'An-Spiord' and works from his studio on the outskirts of Potsdam near Berlin. Henning's ability to create emotive string arrangements led him to become the hired hand on New Model Army's recent 'Winter' album release.

Signed in 2015 to PRMD Publishing by Owner and founder ASH POURNOURI ( AVICII:s Manager ), he has already co-written songs for several international artists. The last two years Anton has been working on a unique sound. The sound that will show the world who he truly is as an artist. With RAMI YACOUB’s guidance the last pieces fell into place and a number of songs are ready to be heard worldwide, his first release is DEVIL.

Psychedelic rockers The Vryll Society announce the release of their brand new single A Perfect Rhythm via Deltasonic Records (The Coral, The Zutons, The Dead 60s) ahead of their eagerly anticipated Levitation UK tour this autumn.
Following a busy summer which has seen their fierce live reputation enhanced through appearances on the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury, as well as Reading & Leeds and End Of The Road, the Merseyside quintet returned to the studio and delved into their psych-pop influences to produce, in frontman Mike Ellis’ words: “A full throttle cinematic, guitar-fuelled dance track that sails under lush European style melodies”.
With nods to the likes of Tame Impala and Beach House, as well as similarities to early influences such as The Verve and The Horrors, 'A Perfect Rhythm' proves an intriguing transition from 2015 debut EP Pangea which received widespread online support from tastemakers, as well as airplay from Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1), John Kennedy RADIO X, Janice Long (BBC Radio 2) and Tom Robinson (BBC 6 Music).
