The great news for rock fans, live music lovers and aspiring musicians in and around Tavistock, is that Chantel will be playing with her band at The Wharf on Friday 8 May; and put simply; this will be a night to remember and one show not to miss!

Emerging from the UK’s vibrant Blues-Rock scene, after 3 years of constant touring and festival appearances that followed the launch of her independent record label with the release of her debut album “Like No Other”, in recent months, Chantel has been very busy in the recording studio.  The new recordings are drawing comparisons with contemporary chart Rock artists and there is much excited anticipation for the forthcoming release.

Her growing musical stature is assured having been invited by Joe Bonamassa to jam with him on stage on two of his UK tour dates, performing on the same stage straight after Eric Clapton and featuring alongside the likes of Jeff Beck, Keith Richards and Albert Lee on a worldwide DVD celebrating 60 years of the Fender Telecaster!

You can see and have a listen to Chantelplaying “Help Me” a rocky number from her 1st album "Like No Other" at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbsbuyKPzNY or on a quieter note, enjoy a solo acoustic version of “Screams Everlasting”, another of Chantel’s original songs, at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vz97YJDFrg&feature=share

The Silverlining Ft. JMan - Smoked Out Remix 2015 | DJ PANDAMONIUM

Jodie Lea moves from number one trending topic on Twitter with Knickerbocker Glorys  BBC3 TV series Southside Story to the release of her debut single Dirty Face produced by Ian Lovatt!  (Released April 20th)

You can see the brilliant video at :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojFEER1M8Bo

Exposing a feisty sound with great vocals and some imaginative pop hooks, Dirty Face explores the theme of conflict and rebellion. The video that accompanies the track is based around a wasteland backdrop. The dancers enhance the dark element to the track with light bondage wear and of course some playing with fire. Not to be outdone, Jodie dons a number of outfits, demonstrating her distinctive and sexy style.

A track steeped in guitar from the outset and leading quickly into a very pacey club number with thumping beats and a fantastically choreographed dance troupe to boot. All of this is perfectly set against a backdrop of raw edgy landscape and a smoulderingly hot Jodie injecting a presence of determination into every crevice of rock.

Enrolling the producing talents of Benny V & Dfrnt Lvls from MC Stevie Hyper D's Camp and legendary label Dance Concept. (Club DNB), Garage Pioneer K - Warren who made some of the UKG biggest hits like Coming Home, Something In Your Eyes. (Garage Mix), Gaston Zani London's Ministry Of Sound & Head Kandi resident and DJ Producer (House Mix) and Alter Ego & Scoop under the wing of ex head of Sony BMG and Hollywood film consultant  publisher Mr Art Ford (DNB Commercial Mix). Dirty Face is set to storm the charts and the nation.

The track is one of angst and shows a rebellious spirit you would expect from a 23 year old trying to carve out a career in music. With a distinctive and seductive look and an attitude to match it's no wonder Jodie Lea is gaining support from the likes of BBC Radio 1 Xtra’s Sara Jane Crawford and industry names such as UKG revivalists Big Brovaz, Ortis Deeley and Myleene Klass.

As a former member of Kiss Off, the band that supported JLS and Jessie J, Jodie is no stranger to the public eye.  Rather than rely on these connections Jodie Lea is determined to do this on her own.  Writing and singing Dirty Face herself, Jodie is determined to inject her unique personality into every aspect of her music.

Jodie Lea takes it to another level with a blend of addictive sound, stunning visuals and sensational vocals.

So Jodie Lea has moved from Southside Story to Dirty Face and we’re sure she will build on this single and grow in to a hot act to mirror her hot image
