The Naked Choir’ Winners, The Sons of Pitches Announce 26‐date UK Tour
The Sons of Pitches is a multi-‐award winning British vocal group combining soaring solos, impeccable harmonies and sensational beatboxing to stunning effect. They were crowned winners of the BBC 2 TV series 'The Naked Choir' in October 2015.

With nearly two million YouTube hits and a growing international reputation, The Sons, as they are affectionately nicknamed, have “given a cappella a kick up the backside” (ThreeWeeks).

Since 2013, The Sons have captivated audiences with highly creative vocal gymnastics and a programme of inventive pop covers, original numbers and entertaining improvised songs.

The Sons' recently had their cover of Skrillex’s 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites' selected for Sing 12, the Contemporary A Cappella Society Association's prestigious compilation CD.

Other recent highlights include tours across the UK, USA and Asia with performances at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella final in New York, the Hong Kong International A Cappella Festival and a sell-‐out debut run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Poynte is a group based in Atlanta, Georgia, comprised of sincere musicians that still take pride in lyrical content and musical movement. With every single note planned to support the emotion of the song, the band delivers on their uncompromising vision. From the syncopated drum and bass lines, to the layers of guitars that support the vocal melodies, Poynte is a well-oiled emotion machine that leaves audiences of all ages captivated and wanting more.
The band’s vision has always been clear, and that is to write heartfelt music while retaining their commercial viability. Through a relentless and sometimes tumultuous pursuit, the solidified lineup has finally been carved into stone. These five musicians have completely embraced that shared vision, and the musicianship to make Poynte complete is now in place. This incarnation is what Poynte has needed to be to take the band to the next level.

Bradford's (UK) experimental/electro act 'They Called Him Zone' offers his debut album creation as an entirely free download. Self-produced in a psychedelic studio basement in West Yorkshire, TCHZ produces cinematic sound-scapes incorporating a fusion of dark electronica and acoustic instruments wrapped up with lo-fi integrity and electro -pop overtones.

Championed by influential radio show BBC Introducing, They Called Him Zone is a fresh and enigmatic artist emerging upon the underground of the British electro scene.

Featuring singles 'Taxi', 'Driving In Miami, In The Eighties' and 'Everyday' - 'Reflections LP' is available download for free from the artists soundcloud page.

 Got Your Tongue? Video

Tall Poppies are fronted by identical twin sister songstresses Susan and Catherine Hay on vocals, bass and guitar with Diarmuid Nugent pulling at heart strings on violin and Doug Fink injecting the energy and danceability on drums. The new track 'Cat Got Your Tongue?' is an upbeat blast of guitar pop inspired by a Jane Austen novel and a night out in

Lost Embers is the solo project of songwriter and musician Johnny Boon.

Lost Embers specialises in a thoughtful brand of lo-fi pop-folk. Characterised by mature and cultured song writing, the Wales based artist is now gearing up for the release of new single 'There's Only Love', and it’s a fine introduction for the uninitiated.

Any new fans this single wins over will find themselves in good company, with Lost Embers counting a number of top music industry names and tastemakers among his fans. JD Fortune (former lead singer of INXS), Shane Lynch (Boyzone) and producer Danny Saber (Michael Hutchence) all recommend the song writer, as do Wales Online Editor David Owens.

Legendary R&B artist Bassman is set to release ‘Don’t Judge Me’, his stellar follow up to hit ‘Jamaican Grind’. Although it carries on the dance tangent it is very much a personal ode.

Inspired by hardship and medical trauma Bassman felt the best way to convey his emotions was through the medium of music. After an allergic reaction to penicillin and the concept of death very much a reality Bassman decided it was time to write about his experiences. Music saved him and he is now intent on sharing his artistry with as many people as he can.

Inspired by the music and dancing of Michael Jackson but with a more modern urban sound, Bassman is already turning heads with major urban tastemakers such as The Source Magazine and Hip-Hop Weekly. And now, with new music garnering comparisons with Flo Rida, Pit Bull and Rick Ross, he’s set for his latest assault on the music industry.
Bassman filmed ‘Don’t Judge Me’ in Las Vegas and his ability to perfectly compliment music with visuals enables him to be a forerunner in the business. The video is a brilliant amalgamation of everything Bassman is and perfect representation of his life so far.

‘Don’t Judge Me (Fast Life)’ is  just the latest in a string of great, fun ideas from the artistic entrepreneur, who also works in other creative industries including clothing design, graphics design and jewellery. Music is just a part of the package, but a very impressive package it is.
Stellar new track ‘Don’t Judge Me (Fast Life) is out January 29th

dam Stafford returns with his first album in nearly three years following the widely acclaimed Imaginary Walls Collapse in 2013.

Format: 12" vinyl (with download), CD and digital
Lead Tracks: Atheist Money, Phantom Billions
Label/cat number: Song, by Toad Records SbTR-A-049

Taser Revelations was recorded at The Happiness Hotel, Song by Toad's newly aquired warehouse recording space. Utilising the warehouse's natural room reverb to great effect, the album features producer and multi-instrumentalist Robbie Lesiuk performing a variety of instruments including steel drums, organ and piano. Greggor Douglas plays the Roland Juno/omnichord and ex-Maple Leaves Anna Miles provides harmony vocals.

Continuing Stafford's trajectory into electrified alternative pop, Taser Revelations begins with some of the most melodically catchy songs he has ever written, before taking a swerve down a dark alley midway through the album, venturing into industrial syncopation, samurai-guitar attacks and some unsettling, vivid imagery.

The band’s debut album “Shaken’ Not Stirred” (12 songs), explores complex areas in people life and hard experiences what you been going trough, without any musical prejudice and without music industry pressures. The musical abandonment is present in all stages in the making of this album: composition, production, and especially in the vocal and instrumental performance. They are all truly genuine expressions of the feelings that inspired these songs
