Info

ustralian The Voice Finalist 2014 Elly Oh is set to release her debut single “Real Men Cry”.  The inspiration behind this song was when Elly saw her Dad cry for the first time when she moved to Australia. It explains how real men should not be afraid to show their emotions even when they are sad but also when they are happy.

Born in South Korea in the city of Incheon, Elly Oh has been in the music industry for over 10 years. She first discovered her passion for music when she was 18 years old after volunteering to sing to an old patient at the hospital where the nurse thought Elly had an amazing voice. She later studied opera from the local opera teacher in Incheon, after her parents suggested it to her as a means of providing Elly with a foundation for singing.

After studying Bachelor of Opera at the University of Hanyang in South Korea, Elly moved to Italy to pursue her opera career and complete a diploma of Opera.

Elly has performed at various Opera events including places in Italy, Korea and also in Sydney. She has won various awards for her Opera abilities including first prize in the McDonalds Opera competition (World Song).

After moving to Sydney, Australia Elly has changed her vocal style to pop as she enjoyed the upbeat music. She is currently teaching students to sing in a private studio based on her Opera techniques as well as performing the occasional special event.

In May 2014, Elly appeared on the Voice Australia 2014 where she blew away 4 coaches within 5 secs of her blind audition with her powerful rendition of Jessie J's "Mama Knows Best". She continued to wow Australia and the world alongside her mentor and coach Ricky Martin with her Opera voice in the battle rounds and was clearly the early favourite to win the Voice Australia 2014.

Moving to Sydney only 5 years ago, knowing very little english, Elly found the courage and motivation to audition on national television for The Voice Australia 2014, placing her in the Top 12 out of 8000 plus auditionees and is now considered one of Australia's most loved artists.

Elly has also performed for many celebrities including His Excellency General The Hon. Sir Peter John Cosgrove, The Melbourne Storm, Ms. Margie Abbott and Ms. Sophia Loren to name a few and has acted alongside Jack Thompson and Brendan Cowell in the iconic Australian film, Ruben Guthrie. Elly is set to release her worldwide debut single "Real Men Cry" on 15th April 2016.

he more I listen to Station by SLTP (Summer Loving Torture Party), the more I like it. It’s a song that makes me think of bands like Shopping– which is not bad at all. In fact that makes it VERY good indeed!

This single comes out on April 29th via iTunes. It has been mixed and mastered to perfection – every little note is transparent – it’s gorgeous! I really appreciate the quality and hard work the band put into this passionate work, and I’m more than sure it’ll pay off. If you like it, order the single, follow them on Soundcloud and mark them as “must-see” at The Great Escape Festival this Spring: put May 19th-21st in your calendar! - FRESH ON THE NET

Luke Chable has been described as one of the best Progressive House producers, topping dance charts all over the world, and championed by the world’s elite DJ’s: Deep Dish, Tiesto, Sasha, John Digweed, Eric Prydz, Dave Seaman, Danny Howells, and many more. Earlier in 2015, his “COMET” EP instantly climbed into BEATPORT Top 5, now nearing 1million plays on Spotify, and prompted EDM act Above & Beyond to propose him a guest mix spot on their massively famous “Group Therapy” radio show.

Luke follows up with his own take on indie pop cult classic “Opium” from The New Division, retaining the 2012 track original vocal and delivering a hypnotic and modern progressive house number.

For No Reason" was originally a charity single for CyberSmile cybersmile.org  who are committed to tackling all forms of digital abuse and bullying online. Now re-recorded and remastered for their forthcoming album due for release in September.

A young Liverpool-based rock band named Matchstickmen appears ready, willing, and more-than-able to add another exciting chapter to their home town’s noble rock history book.

Matchstickmen fully appreciate each others  talents and fully hit their musical stride, it didn’t take long for the labels to take notice. It was in 2011 that MainLine Records and Code7 Music / Plastic Head Distribution Ltd sealed the deals, giving the band the opportunity to turn their rock ‘n’ roll dreams into reality. Plastic Head is one of the leading music distributors in the UK, especially where rock/metal music is concerned and have charted artists including Anthrax, Gaslight Anthem, Green Day and grunge legends The Screaming Trees in the Independent and National Charts. April 2015 they signed to Holier Than Thou Records.

new single from Scottish Rock band Banshee. Their EP 'Say My Name' is out on 25th March and their title track single is available for radioplay now. It's absolutely killer!
Formerly known as 'Life on Standby', Alternative Electronic Rock 4 piece BANSHEE have relaunched for 2016 and are ready to take the world by an electric storm. After a successful performance at Download Festival facilitated by Redbull Studios and their affiliated label Redbull Records, and follow-up performances with the likes of Fearless Vampire Killers and Marmozets, BANSHEE decided that they wanted to start 2016 with a new name and some killer new music. Just as the title of their forthcoming EP tells- 'Say My Name' is representative of what they want their fans to do. So let's hear it for BANSHEE from Scotland, who will be releasing their rockin' EP on Friday 25th March 2016.

MassMatiks and their explosive debut single 'GUNNING FOR YOU', which is set to be released on the 25th March, 2016.

Currently on their headline tour around the UK, MassMatiks are bringing a fresh brand of in yer face riffs, melodic hooks and social commentary to the UK Music Scene. Plus, it’s not everyday you come across a band with a front man who is a British Kickboxing Champion. This band are awesome and 'Gunning for You' is the first indicator of the great things to come for MassMatiks in 2016.

The single has hit the ground running since launching little over a week ago. Support has come from BBC Radio 1's Phil Taggart sitting in for Huw Stephens, BBC Introducing in the South, John Kennedy at Radio X, Kerrang Radio's Alex Baker and Johnny Doom, Amazing Radio and more.

For fans of Slaves, Royal Blood, Rage Against The Machine and Bring Me The Horizon.

Previously known as Underground Fly where they released 2 studio albums, the band later changed to UFly upon the release of their album Love Smugglers.
Having supported the likes of Alicia Keys, Slade, Budgie and Kensington to name but a few, as well as receiving radio play around the world, UFly now return with their new single Get It Now.
Details on this along with further information on UFly can be found on their website www.ufly.eu or you can follow them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/uflyofficial

Eden Royals are dynamic young band that have been shaking up Essex’ music scene with their new single ‘Close To The Sun’, which has been supported by BBC Introducing Essex. Having shared a stage with bands like Bastille, Rudimental and The Cribs at Liverpool Sound City, the four-piece is on a steady climb upwards. Luke Traynor from the Liverpool Echo tweeted that Eden Royals put on the “best set of Sound City Sunday” and were named one of The Daily Mirror’s top bands for the festival in 2015.

The Posies.

With SOLID STATES (out 29th April), The Posies mark dramatic changes in the lives, the music and the evolution of the band. Full details attached below.

The band are giving out a free download of awesome album track ‘Squirrel vs Snake’: https://soundcloud.com/theposies/squirrel-vs-snake
Squirrel vs Snake" is a state of the 'disunion' in the USA and beyond... the disharmony, the threats to intellectual freedom, and the cynicism and lies we take for granted now in the age of doublespeak. It has an awesome big sentimental chorus.

Uncle Tan
The new single is called Youniversum. It will be self-released as a digisingle on 23rd of March. Available on Spotify, Deezer, iTunes, Amazon etc
