Info

The Hotspur Press are four childhood friends who have been making waves in the North West of England with their brand of massive-sounding indie rock, and now they want to make waves elsewhere too.
They are hoping they’ll be able to do that with their new single, ‘ALL YOU KNOW’ - a melody driven anthem that soars with a youthful exuberance tinged with nostalgic longing. With moving melodies, intricate and well thought-out guitar work, pounding drum rhythms and most importantly, an awe-inspiringly huge chorus, it’s got all the credentials for arena-filling greatness.
Recorded with Tim Grey at Big Tone Recordings, producer of releases by Peter Hook (of Joy Division fame) and ska-rockers Sonic Boom Six, this track has more than been done justice in the studio.
‘All You Know’ is the first single to be taken from the forthcoming EP which is due to arrive in Summer
2016.
To support this release, the band are lining up some high-profile gigs across the UK, starting with an early-April single launch in their home city of Manchester. To bolster their efforts, a stylish and well-produced music video will be released to accompany this single.
All they are hoping for now is some credible exposure to get the word out.

Coates' new single Throw Me Down and play it on the show. The energetic 3 minute track is equal parts Britpop and rollicking indie-folk and is a great example of the London singer-songwriter's restless suburban disenchantment and ear for melody.
