Against the backdrop of an almost unlimited supply of music that is easier to get access to than ever before, cutting through the noise to find the bands truly worth listening to can be difficult. Surrey rockers Cavalier are one such band.

Following a storming tour, which saw the four piece blasting their way up and down the country, Cavalier have released brand new track 'Come Home'.
Check out 'Come Home' below-
 Cavalier    Come Home YouTube
Cavalier formed in January 2014, having met whilst studying at university. Since then the Surrey rockers have been playing shows relentlessly. Following the 2015 release of their debut EP 'Belief' (which was recorded with Chris Coulter - Arcane Roots, Jamie Lenman) Cavalier have continued to tour the UK and record relentlessly with their highly anticipated next single “Come Home” set to be released in July.

They personally describe themselves as 'boybandpunx', and their catchy, massive sounding pop/rock songs sit pleasingly alongside a high energy mentality and punky live show. In addition they have supported a range of prestigious acts such as Nothing but Thieves, The Pigeon Detectives, Twin Wild and The Carnabys.

Your next chance to catch Cavalier in the flesh will be on Saturday the 10th of September when they play the 10th anniversary of Butserfest alongside Mallory Knox, Young Guns, Moose Blood, Ashestoangels and many more.

If you're heading to Butserfest, make sure you check out this fantastic young band, because they're going all the way to the top!

Cavalier are:
Jamie Coupe - Vocals
Tom Macdonald Grute - Guitar/Vocals
Jack Onslow - Bass
Peter Callaghan - Drums

NEW YORK ROCKERS 'THE SO SO GLOS' RETURN WITH A CALL TO ACTION!

‘DANCING INDUSTRY’ SINGLE TO BE RELEASED JULY 22nd, FOLLOWED BY NEW ALBUM ‘KAMIKAZE’ SEPTEMBER 2016 VIA VOTIV MUSIC

The So So Glos are a rare breed. A band fighting apathy, a band intent on distracting and inspiring a generation away from their phones and their screens, dragging them out onto the street, dancing, fucking and fighting for a future. Are you ready to testify?
Set to return to the fray this coming July 22nd with the release of their new single ‘Dancing Industry’, followed by new album ‘Kamikaze’ on September 9th through Votiv Music, the tracks were recorded with John Reis (Drive Like Jehu, Hot Snakes) and mixed by Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, Rilo Kiley, Cursive), and features some of the Glos’ rawest song-writing yet. ‘Dancing Industry’ marks their comeback like a starter pistol fired at a high-adrenalin race. A rapid-fire snare roll signals the start of the song as the band jolt into a strutting punk rock call to arms that is both vital and alive.

“Dancing Industry’ is a call to action,” states vocalist and bassist Levi Zara Aleksander. “Calling kids of all ages, come out, come out wherever you are. Come from behind your screens, from out of the cupboard and onto the dance floor. Let’s take the humanity back and build a new army of empathic, peace seeking individuals. Let’s churn out this feeling in an assembly line like fashion. This ain’t a party we’re starting; it’s a movement that we’re blowing up.”

Being surrounded by the apathetic, plastic, too-cool attitude that permeated New York City’s underground of the early 2000’s changed the Glos bros’ (who are actually brothers) approach to punk rock forever. They were inspired not only to dive head-first into Brooklyn’s ethos-first scene of DIY all-ages spaces, but to write charged-up fight songs by prying open big questions about the society around them, and to write anti-establishment calls-to-action.
“That concept of self-awareness, acknowledging it in order to combat the problems you see in yourself and the world, is a theme that runs through a lot of our music and our message,” Aleksander continues, reflecting on the path to ‘Kamikaze’ — a path that has made the album all the more embedded with meaning.

On the forthcoming album, the follow-up to The So So Glos’ critically acclaimed ‘Blowout’ from 2013, the darks are darker, the lights are lighter, the loud louder and the quiet quieter. ‘Kamikaze’ is an album that finds the band narrowing its focus, kicking harder and faster, all serving to punctuate their subversive merging of sarcasm with sincerity, and spirituality with social awareness. “Kamikaze is about using our self-imposed weapon,” says Levi Zaru (Aleksander). “Which is music, which is art, which is freedom of expression, which is respect for the individual… all that is a weapon.”
As always, though, the members of The So So Glos – Levi Zaru (Aleksander, lead vocals, bass), Ryan Zaru Levi (guitar, backing vocals), Matt Lasser-Elkin (guitar), Zach Assa-el Staggers (drums) – have made a perfect party soundtrack, if your idea of partying involves screaming against the world of distractions and psychic destruction that surrounds us.

This year Evil Scarecrow are returning to the Main Stage at Bloodstock on Friday, theyve also got a brand new single which they will perform live for the very first time during their set and have partnered with Bloodstock to bring it to you as soon as its released. Dr Hell has this to say:

We really wanted to do something special for Bloodstock this year so weve fast tracked some music genius (*coughs*) from our upcoming album especially for the BOA fans, which will be available for free through the Bloodstock website! So, it should give you time to learn all of the ropey latin chanting that we crowbarred in-between some thunderstorm samples. Writing music is easy. Its another massive Scarecrow hit and we expect to see you all spinning on the spot for Hurricanado. Bloodstock will be the first time we have ever played the song live, so the dizzier you are the less obvious our mistakes will be."

Upcoming shows:
Friday 12th August, BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR FESTIVAL, Derby
29th October, Corporation, Sheffield
26th November, Midlands Metal Crusade, Slade Rooms, Wolverhampton
23rd-26th March 2017, HRH United, Wales

Speed Autobahn's Fresh off the Press Thrilling New Single 'Live it Up'
A fresh, fast-paced and high-energy fusion of Electronica dance and Hip Hop reminiscent of artists Pitbull, Florida and Lupe Fiasco perfectly describes the fantastic new single by Speed Autobahn.

After the death of a close friend he was moved to create a song in his honour, taking inspiration from his friend's popular saying 'live everyday like it's your last' he named the track 'Live it Up'.

“To hear him say, “I don’t do music for the hood, I do music for the world,” had me hype and if you know me you know I don’t need extra energy, but that’s what you feel through his music, energized!!!”

- Shelneka Adams, empire radio magazine

“ I never thought he could combine the styles of EDM and Hip Hop and Take it somewhere past were Pitbull has taken it, no disrespect to Pitbull, but a younger and newer wave”

-  Jay “the Great” Gatsby, The Royal Takeover Radio Show

Currently living in Manhattan, Speed Autobahn has been driving audiences so wild that both men and women have ripped their shirts off as they danced and raved. Performing in some of New York's most famous venues such as Harlem Shrine, Santos House Party, Brooklyn's Paperbox and also Fame Festival in Atlanta, he was introduced to the rapper Fat Joe earlier this year who encouraged him to aim for the skies with his art, saying “your friends and family are not your fans, focus on creating music that people from all over can appreciate and love”. He is close friends with punk rock band Danny Switchblade, who produced some of his material as well going on tour with him.

In addition to this, he has been featured on the award winning YouTube web series "Ghetto Nerd Girl". Speed Autobahn seems set to tear his way up through the music industry.

Upcoming events:

1) E.N.S album release party, July10th  2016

2) Fresh Crew Music concert:  New York, NY

August 2016 date and Venue TBA
