Info

Well, it's been an amazing journey for ASYLUMS over the past 2 years. From DIY outsiders to being one of Annie Mac's 'NEW NAMES' on BBC Radio 1.... and now it's nearly time for their Debut Album 'KILLER BRAIN WAVES' which is being released on July 29th via COOL THING RECORDS.

To lead us to the debut album, here we have the brand new single 'SECOND CLASS SEX' for your listening pleasure... and it's a perfect 2 minute rocking number!

singer/songwriter Lewis Murphy. His brand new EP ‘Lighthouse’ features his magnificent new single 'Caught Up With You'.

Nottingham band ‘For The Girl’.

The guys are about to go on tour and the single release, ‘Where Did Time Go’ is at the end of July. The video is a great pop visual!

Marylise’ is Charlyn’s promising first single from her upcoming debut EP. The Swiss singer/songwriter who is now based in London portrays an eclectic mix of Indie Pop and 80’s elements with this first effort. Charlyn perfectly complements the rising popularity of female electro-pop vocals, in a similar vein to Chvrches or Brighton’s Fickle Friends.

When interviewed about the single, Charlyn described it as “a summery pop song, telling the story of a woman pretending to have ‘the perfect life’, however wanting to escape and live the life of someone else.”

Although Charlyn is a solo musician, the chemistry between the singer and her band (Robin, George and Thomas) is undeniably audible; having met her co-performers whilst studying at the British & Irish Modern Music Institute in 2012. The upcoming EP- recorded in London- explores intimate subjects, such as love and human stories, all set to rhythmic and spacious 80s-pop beats.

After having graced the stages of renowned London venues such as Bush Hall, Under the Bridge and 02 Academy Islington, as well playing shows in Paris and Switzerland, Charlyn is now set to take Western Europe by storm over the summer; with four performances in London and appearances in Switzerland already confirmed!

The EP release show will take place on the 15th of June at The Half Moon in Putney, London – 8pm.
