The Senton Bombs are a punk rock & roll band from Blackpool, regulars on the live-circuit, the band has amassed numerous admirers of their high octane live shows, explosive recordings and distinct rock sound. Imagine the melodic energy of ‘Aerosmith’ combined with the sneering audacity of ‘ The Clash’ to get an idea of this band.

We are delighted to announce that The Senton Bombs signed with German record label 7hard for the release of our new album. The deal will help to bring in more distribution partners, including Sony and Universal. HTT will continue to manage the UK single releases.

Hip hop marvel Kay Kumar is one of the most exciting artists on the scene at the moment.

His latest single ‘SVDS’ is a stunning bilingual power beat that was recorded in both French and English. The video was shot in the paradisiacal landscape of Morocco which Kay found to be the perfect “cinematographic, crazy, wild, fun and adventurous” environment for it. Music website Streets Talkin summed up the result: “The video is breathtaking, his talent obvious, and the combination of English and French worth the listen.”

Kay has been compared to musicians such as Kendrick Lamar, Eminem or French Montana although his unique take on the mixture of not only languages but also genres demonstrates a great portion of originality. Being keen on keeping his sound as diverse as possible Kay is using  elements from hip hop to dance, R’n’B, techno/EDM  and rock in his upcoming album which he is currently recording in collaboration with artist Zak Le Ninja, who is also featured on ‘SVDS’. He describes the album as “playful, fun and commercial”.

Born in Gwalior, India and raised in Birmingham, British/Indian Kay Kumar has had a multicultural upbringing which he now impeccably translates into his musical open mindedness. He likes to challenge himself and dive into adventures. After describing his first journey to Morocco as an experience which allowed him to witness “some of the most beautiful and some of the most horrific things” he has ever seen in his life, he is now planning on returning to the country for the video shoot of his second single ‘Belly Shake’.

Kay’s aspirations have led to TV appearances, numerous shows and his songs being played on mainstream radio stations in various countries. He is keen on continuing his international approach and work with different artists all over the world. His work ethic and talent suggest bigger things to come and it probably won’t be long until we hear of Kay Kumar’s nomination for a music award as best new artist.
The single ‘SVDS’ is out on 26th February 2016

Mellor Release New EP 'Damage/Joy'

Lead Track: Dolly Daydream

Describing themselves as making indie pop-smack, Mellor are a four piece from Reading whose sound and image has been compared to that of The Libertines, Arctic Monkeys and Miles Kane

Gary, Josh and Evert met at school and the line up was completed when Sam was introduced to them through a mutual friend. Laying the foundations of their songs through Gary's guitar parts and lyric ideas, the band work collectively to create the sound they're looking for. Their latest EP 'Damage/Joy' was produced by Mo Hausler (Babyshambles, Everything Everything) and the band feel this is their strongest release to date.

Since forming in 2011 Mellor have released three singles and an EP, all of which have gained national radio play courtesy of Absolute Radio and BBC 6 Music. The band have earned glowing reviews from magazines such as NME and Artrocker and have a large and ever growing fanbase earned through a year of intensive touring and support slots for The Milk, Carl Barat and The Kooks.

  Your Illuminations
Hey Scarlet
14 February 2016
Your Illuminations, an English trio who produce anthemic rock, release their hard-hitting debut single 'Hey Scarlet'.

Your Illuminations have progessed from playing their small local scene to embarking on full UK tours and shows with major acts. This progression is 'Hey Scarlet' - a track that premiered in front of 14,000 people, amassed close to 1000 views a month on YouTube, and has boosted Your Illuminations from a small town band to a UK underground sensation. Your Illuminations are now looking to take their music and high octane live show to places they've never been. Not content with sold out headline shows and independent festivals in the North of England, the boys have their sights firmly set on UK and international scene. With a highly anticipated UK tour in February and new music slated for a mid-2016 release, Your Illuminations show no signs of slowing down yet.

ormed in Liverpool in 2014, Indie Pop/Rock band Seprona practice in an abandoned pub on the outskirts of Liverpool city centre where they have locked themselves away, writing profically. Each band member brings their own influences to Seprona's sound, but the band agree that the likes of Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, Interpol and Radiohead are their common demoninators.

The band's development deal with Rooftop Records, a label owned by Parr Street Recording Studio's Chris Taylor, gives Seprona access to recording time as well as valuable mentoring. Their large following in their home city is thanks to storming appearances at Sound City (May 2015) alongside The Flaming Lips, The Vaccines, and Belle & Sebastian, and FestEVOL (August 2015) alongside Serpent Power and Dave McCabe & the Ramifications.

The Band:
Daniel Badger (Lead Vocals, Guitar)
Sammy Issa (Guitar)
Tom Larkin (Bass)
Joe Grove (Drums)

"Seprona haunt the scene with their bottomless melodies and roaring beats. Playing this years Sound City, Seprona seem to be making more waves in Liverpool like never before, recently releasing track, Street Lights to commemorate their involvement within the dockland super-event. Watch out for their honest instrumental and subdued genius, you'll be captivated on the spot."
The Music Manual FestEVOL Part 1

"Simplistic yet powerfully effective with their simple yet refreshingly off-beat song structures and raw riffage, teamed with vocals reminiscent of those of The Zutons' Dave McCabe. The chilled indie-quartet are sure to put on a fantastic show and are well worth seeing to kick off your Threshold festival."

Peace v War is the brand new album from Electro pop pioneer Karel Fialka.

Recorded with the Racecar project (aka Kevin McGowan and Richard Rogers) in Gozo, the album is only available as a 12" vinyl LP or by download and features the iconic cover artwork of Grammy Design Award nominee Mike Ross.
Recording in a time of huge world events including the Ebola outbreak, the annexation of Crimea, and the disappearance of Air Malaysia MH370. DAESH had not even been heard of let alone being as now a de facto military force of potentially global proportions and the migrants now flooding Europe were just a trickle.

A musically startling, lyrically angry yet eternally hopeful commentary on our modern world, the album deals with the major themes of our time…war, hunger, inequality, political chicanery, media manipulation - passionately whilst never preachy.

His first taste of success was with “Armband” b/w “Ghosts, The Subway Strummer”, released on the indie Red Shift label in 1979 and played by John Peel, it had underground success in Europe. Charlie Gillett liked what Karel was doing and then signed him to Oval Records for a short time before Karel moved to the Blueprint label where he recorded and released “Still Life”, his first album which gained excellent reviews. The single “The Eyes Have It” was taken from “Still Life” and had chart success, but Blueprint folded suddenly just as the album was being distributed.

His self-recorded song, “Hey Matthew” was heard by Miles Copeland who signed Karel to IRS Records and the single became a UK Top 5 hit in 1987 and also charted in Europe. In the following years other albums under Karel’s name include a deconstruction of songs by The Doors called “Morrison Café” and also “Subterranean”, an album of songs by Bob Dylan which were treated in the same way. These mostly went to friends and fans and have become collectors’ items.

2009 saw the release of “Film Noir”, a limited edition album of 500 signed and numbered copies on a black CD. Featured guest artists include Tilda Swinton and Paul Roberts (Sniff  n the Tears). Karel has worked with and written for a wide range of artists and fellow travellers  including Nick Magnus, Jona Lewi, Paul Roberts, Colin Blunstone, Martin Stephenson, Cliff Richard etc as well as taking production duties for various projects.
Karel still performs live regularly.

Famed for his eighties recordings on Charlie Gillett's Oval Records and, later, Miles Copeland's influential IRS imprint, with hits such as 'The Eyes Have It' and 'Hey Matthew', singer-songwriter Karel Fialka is back with his most striking work yet on “Peace v War”.

Cockney John

How many times

Re-released January 2016

During the mid-1970s you could find yourself packed shoulder to shoulder with like-minded music-loving strangers in sweaty London clubs watching and listening to Punk and new wave music.

In 2013, we have Cockney John who is an enigma, a throwback from the life and music of that period but 100% fun.

This album is a musical cocktail of anything that was 70’s punk and new wave with a twist of today. That genre of music mixed with the original tunes from songsmith Vic Malcolm means that once you hear them you will not get them out of your head.

Cockney John is already a success, so much so that he needs his minder Geordie Jack at his side 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

Their first single “How Many Times” due for release on 22 May 2103 is already picking up airplay around Europe and we hope that you will give it a listen and play on your show.

“Music in 2016 will never be the same…”

“Every party should have a copy of this CD…”

Cockney John’s album “How many times” is available from Tabitha Records http:/www.tabitharecords.webs.com and on download from iTunes and Amazon.

Skaciety (pronounced the way you'd pronounce society) formed three years ago when Aiden Lamb (Bass/Lead Vocals), Benjamin Davison (Trombone/Backing Vocals), Harry Whatrup (Trumpet/Backing Vocals) Logan Haddrell (Guitar) and Will Freed (Drums) met at school in Sittingbourne, Kent.

Despite the fact the band are all still at school and college, they have played numerous gigs and festivals across the UK including appearances for the last two years at Blackpool's Rebellion Festival where songwriter and lead vocalist Aiden celebrated both his sixteenth and seventeenth birthdays.

Having all been victims of bullying in the past, the band chose to speak out about the issue by supporting anti-bullying organisation The Sophie Lancaster Foundation. They raised over £1000 for the charity during their appearances at summer festivals this year. Skaciety are also proud members of the local Kent Punk community and actively promote an initiative called Up The Kent which raises the profile of Kent's Punk scene.

New Single 'Step Back (Take a Look Around)' features none other than Laila K from Ska superstars Sonic Boom 6. The band start work on their second album in December when they will be working with producer Dave Chang (Capdown, Lightyear, 4ft Fingers).

Eleven tracks of Skate Punk-infused, Ska-driven and brass-laden Punk-Rock music that will make you wonder why the hell you havent listened to Skaciety yet...

God knows how young this ridiculously fun and energetic ska-punk outfit from Kent are, but they cracked out the brass for an amazing set that had everyone skankin their muddy boots off."

These five young lads took the stage by storm raising the energy levels to overload.
Midlands Metal Heads

Skaciety, young SKA/Punk sensations from Kent, produced an amazing performance. Definitely ones to watch they left the stage to an amazing send off from the crowd who loved every minute of it and from the amount of Skaciety T-Shirts on show on the Sunday made themselves a whole load of new fans.
