"A singer, composer and lyricist with an innately soulful vocal and an instinctive ability for story telling, Dani Sylvia makes for an enthralling listen”

London based singer/Songwriter Dani Sylvia releases her debut single “Free”, a beautifully constructed song with great hooks, melodies and vocals!   Taken from her EP “Monologues”.

After graduating from the Guildhall School of  Music and Drama, Dani has worked tirelessly on her songwriting and performing skills, which at only 25, has led her to perform with an array of artists at some of the UK’s more prestigious events including, Paloma Faith at The Proms, Labyrinth at the BAFTAS, Tom Jones at the BBC Music Awards; The Who,  Gary Barlow and Diversity on their UK tour.

Dani has also just recently toured the UK with her 7 piece band supporting The Feeling, she also performed alongside the band at the O2 Arena last month where they supported ELO!    She also performs and writes for London based Urban Voices Collective which has led to appearances with Diversity on their TV show (as lead vocalist), The Olympics closing ceremony, Muse, The Proms etc.   She will also be performing gigs at The Bedford, Metropolis Studios, The Leeds Cancer Research Charity event and the upcoming Time Out Rising Starts show at 229.

Coupled with stunning soulful vocals Dani is a brilliant songwriter, with her story telling lyrics that tug at every known emotion, “Free" is a captivating taste of what to expect from her first album “Tall Tales”, planned for release later this year.

The title track - State of Emergency is very much inspired by the present political situation in their native Sweden, as it closed it’s borders last autumn and declared state of emergency. The same goes for Sound of Guns, written after a gang related shooting killing eight people.

Matt Dee: State of Emergency is honest old skool punk-rock’n’roll, warts and all. I grew up with glam, pop and punk. This EP is a mix of all that music.

The Bronco was formed in 2010 but the band got roots all the way back to 1978 with Matt (Mats Drougge). As a 16 year old he started one of swedens most legendary punk bands Liket Lever (Living Corpses) with icon to be Freddie Wadling. They had both been in local group Straitjacket (also the breeding ground for the The Leathernun).

State of Emergency is available for streaming and download from Itunes/Spotify etc and as four track CD.

Release date: OUT NOW!

Sound of the Summer is the brand new single from Jamie Porter. A soundtrack taken straight out of a Florida Turnpike trip to Daytona Beach.

Following on from his early 2016 release Can’t Stop Loving You which made the main playlist on Nevis Radio and also received plays on K107 FM, Radio Tircoed, Get Ready to Rock, Starship Overflow, Colne Radio, Radio Woking, Sunday Alternative, Bishop FM, Sound Machine Radio, Irvine Beat, Wolfman Radio, BC FM, Riviera FM, Vixen 101, Dapper FM, Twisted Mixtape show, Canalside, Radio Alternative, Dunoon Rock Show, Tameside Radio and many more.

Jamie Porter has covered most of the UK in his quest to follow his love of music influences by the likes Gary Moore, Ritchie Sambora, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Black Crowes, Thunder, Dan Baird, The Eagles and many more and plays the following dates this year :

Friday March 11th- Rebellion Club ManchesterGuests of Blue Nation on Tour
Saturday April 30th  NE Diversity Festival Connah’s Quay
Festival Opening Act Outdoor Stage

“…reminded of Tom Petty, before it moved more towards being a potentially anthemic number”
Rock Generation

“…superb heartfelt passion and sensational overall musicianship class” Forkster

2014 also saw Jamie look for musicians to take his songs out live.  Jamie was joined by experienced drummer/musician Geraint Vernon early in 2014 and rehearsals followed soon after.  They were joined by Jamie’s son Dan on bass and shortly after Paul Harrison on guitar and b/vocals.   A couple of short warmup shows were done by the band over 2014 at Conwy Beer Festival and Conwy’s Prom Xtra Festival in August.  Late 2014/ early 2015 has seen the band joined by a new bass player Darren Sidell and Dan has now moved over to keyboard duties.

2015 saw the release of a single called ‘Save Me’ which has had airplay on independent radio stations across the UK.  A number of live shows at local music festivals and charity events then followed over the course of the year with Jamie writing and recording material for a new album made up of songs already in the live set and brand new material. A new album is on the horizon this year and the continued development/promotion of the band in the live music scene throughout the UK and beyond.

Sporting a fantastic hook and a bubbly electropop beat, the track has all the ingredients of a catchy pop song, made all the more engaging by its positive and life-affirming lyrics. Challan Carmichael is Fresh, Original and Inspiring.

‘I love good wholesome music and am very aware of how music can help you to motivate and uplift,’ explains the singer.  ‘In the current climate with so much negativity in the world it is very easy to be bombarded with negative images and messages continuously. Sometimes it is good to focus on the positive side and also positive messages so that we can remember it is not all doom and gloom.’

A devout Christian, Challan invited 10 local children from his church to sing on the track’s chorus. Ideals of humanity and philanthropy play a major part in his lyrics, themes that are applicable not just to his own faith but to people from all walks of life.

Challan takes influence from artists such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston and Billy Ocean. As well as singing, he has long had a keen interest in dance, self-teaching himself as a child from watching Michael Jackson videos and streetdance. In 1988, he was lucky enough to get front row tickets to King of Pop’s BAD concert, a surprise gift from his au-pair.

Unafraid to challenge himself, Challan joined the Territorial army in his twenties, having a desire to push himself both physically and mentally. Around the same time he also got involved with artist tour management.

Having worked behind the scenes in the music industry for many years supporting artists such as KC Da Rookee and Ben from Phats and Smalls, Challan is now ready to carve a music career of his own.

The artist has worked with multiple producers including notable names such as Blaze Billions, Paul Nza, Lars Mellow and Klimper Boy. He is currently performing at schools across the UK as part of his Step by Step UK nationwide Schools Tour.

The Nottingham Post has described him as ‘Nottingham’s next MC Hammer’.

An album has been recorded in Germany and will be out soon.
