Heaven’s gain is the debut album by Downfall.
It was recorded, mixed and mastered by Josiah Manning at Momentum Studios and features nine original tracks.
Artwork is by Andy Pilkington of Very Metal Art
The album is dedicated to the memory of Jamie Fleming, (a friend of the band and Karl’s best friend)
There are two videos that go with the album, “Lost My Mind”, which was videoed and produced by Dan Rose of Off the Planet TV and “With You” which was videoed and produced by Ben Harrap of Benjamin Harrap Productions.
The album can be downloaded from all major online stores including Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby etc.
Heaven’s Gain was an album that was in excess of 12 months in the creation and this is shown be the transition in styles across the album.
The first track recorded was “Chin Up”. The style and make up of this song differs greatly from the later recordings of The Darkness and The Tenant.

The Dreamer Within have a new single called ‘Purge’, The track combines their love of Electronic Dance Music (EDM) with blistering guitar riffs, ruthless breakdowns and catchy vocal melodies

These guys are releasing their EP ’This Is Not Our Home’ on September 30th

“A band beginning to lure very potent attention with their compelling metalcore bred sound. Young as an outfit, they have already shown themselves a fresh presence and roar on the British metal scene with a stage presence that has audiences swinging”
– The RingMaster Review

Black Water a female fronted four piece original rock band formed in 2015 by female front lady June originating from the Celtic valleys of Scotland, Mike the axe attacker from Southampton, Paul the keeper of the beat from Derby and Chris the 5 string bass  grinder from Devon. Black Water play varies venues in the South West of England where the band generate from.

The bands first album was released in April 2016 named Fragmented.  The debut album “Fragmented” shows the diversity of the band and the heights they can reach. The band are so inspired and dedicated that they have enough material to produce 6 further albums. Main song writer and lyricist June has been busy writing new material and some songs see the first stages of June and Mike co-writing.

Black Water having gigged locally is becoming an established band, their music is being recognised by local and further afield radio stations and air play is proving to be an ongoing cycle. Live interviews are forming and the band is forever moving forward!

Vocalist June a Scottish Singer/Songwriter began playing acoustic guitar at a very early age but didn’t attempt song writing until 2006. Gigging countless times over the years with varies bands as a singer, performing covers and originals. Parallel projects were running where she drummed in both a symphonic covers and a blues cover band, she also had a side project running simultaneously with her original band called Logic Effect where she played drums. She also found time to gig acoustically with her original material around Aberdeen.

Other passed projects included DJing and interviewing national and international rock/metal bands, such as Gun, Firewind, Tykettos Danny Vaughn to name a few. She also performed in theatres in Aberdeen and was involved in La Traviata in His Majesties Theatre. Her involvement in music continued with workshops with the Scottish BBC Symphonic Orchestra when they performed in Aberdeen and was a vocal coach at Peterhead Rock School. June still gets involved in varies projects and is a member of two Cornish Opera Society and is a principle. She is the driving force behind her band Black Water.

Guitarist & producer Mike has been playing guitar for 40 years and has an extremely eclectic taste from Abba to Zappa, experiencing a wide spectrum of musical input, coupled with a love of recording technology and production this has honed both live and studio skills. Playing in bands since the early age of 16, some covers and some originals and enjoyed both sides of the fence. He was once in a profession outfit having attained an actual recording contract and supporting slots for The Ozric Tentacles, Hawkwind, Gong and some festivals. Now with Black Water he has found his home to utilise all his skills and experience and is the technical wizard behind the live sound and the
production of Black Water’s recordings.

Bassist and keyboardist Chris started playing in 1983 on classical guitar but always wanted to play bass, which emerged the following year; joining his first band in 1984 they parted company and formed another band with the keyboard player called Burning Ambition which lasted 4 years.

After playing in a number of different bands, mostly rock or metal, a former professional singer called Wendy Jamieson and Chris formed a 70s cover band called Devilgate. They played with the likes of Slade and Bucks Fizz, and gigged in Europe, Chris doubled up on keyboards too. After this he played in numerous bands up to the present day, then he met June and Tony where they put together a Symphonic Metal band and the rest is as they say history.

Drummer Paul has been drumming for many years in both original bands and covers. He has been involved in album work and gigged countless times with bands.
