Info -

Bruise who are based in London, England.
Bruise now return with their new single Jennifer taken from their third studio album Little Victories.
Described as being Britain’s best kept secret, the duo have been cutting a maverick swathe through the industry over the years which has seen them perform thousands of gigs across the UK, Europe and US including the first ever Deuce Night, as well as receiving worldwide radio play.  In addition to this, they have worked with some of the top acts in the music industry such as songwriter and guitar virtuoso Mark Knopfler, Space Rock royalty Hawkwind, and Country phenomenon Leanne Rhymes to name but a small few.
Little Victories and their new single Jennifer are both now available to purchase through all major download stores.  Details on this as well as recently announced gig dates across the UK throughout the year can be found on their website www.bruiseuk.com and www.facebook.com/bruiseuk

One Vista who are based in Norwich, England.
One Vista could be located more easily on Internet search engines and to coincide with their new album titled Changing Spaces which is scheduled for release in June 2013.
Having already performed at a number of top venues in London including supporting Dyko which features ex Kratwerk member Wolfgang Flur, the attention One Vista have been receiving has also not gone unnoticed on their local scene of Norwich where they are receiving regular radio play and very favourable reviews.
Quoted as being tonkingly good electro pop with that most rare quality – a decent tune, One Vista have now released their new single White Horses which is available to purchase through all major download stores.  Details on this as well as information on forthcoming gig dates can be found on their websites www.onevista.co.uk and www.facebook.com/onevista

Ryker Sear who are based in Buckinghamshire, England.

Taking the first half of their name ‘Ryker’ after a character from Star Trek Next Generation because of the coolness of the name, Ryker Sear have since been moving from strength to strength since their formation.
Having already received radio play on a large number of stations including the BBC, the exposure they have been receiving has already resulted in the band being approved by a well known Rock magazine, and has also seen them chart in the Amazon Rock Charts.
Ryker Sear have recently released their new single To The Ending which is available for FREE along with the opportunity to win a selection of band merchandise too.  Details on this along with information on forthcoming gig dates can be found on their websites www.rykersear.com and www.facebook.com/rykersear

Billy Vincent release their stunning new single And It Fights in May and play a UK tour.
One part Bill, one part Vincent, three parts raggle taggle maverick vagabond troubadour - a cocktail to grace any happy hour inspired adventure.

Billy Barratt and David Vincent’s inspired tales from the front line of life delve deep into a narrative so resonant it beggars belief that two south Londoners, so young, can draw on such a deep seam of emotion with such engaging empathy. They deliver evocative stories – if indeed that is what they are (my god I hope these guys haven’t lived all this!) - of life’s bittersweet chapters that past masters of the art, Cave, Davies, Morrisey & Stipe have taken years to hone.

"This Debut, recorded at Ray Davies's Konk Studios, follows up on the promise of a brace of EPs (King Island Coyote and Once On The Grand Union) and proves their fine-tuning has paid dividends. London's seedy underbelly hasn't been chronicled this vividly since The Libertines' debut."
       Q Magazine

"A band who've hit their stride in an assured and superb manner"
Artrocker Magazine

‘Number 1 in ‘Best new acts coming to the festival circuit this summer’
The Evening Standard

For every Americana or folk inflection there, is an edge to Billy Vincent that suggests they share a kinship with The Faces or The Libertines as much as anybody else: this is a gang you’d like to hang with as much as eulogise.

The band embark on a UK tour in April and you can see them live on the following dates :

16/4 - The Bees Mouth, Brighton, 17/4 - Bunters Bar, Truro Cornwall, 19/4 - The Joiners, Southampton, 20/4 - Cherry Cola @ Purple Turtle, Camden London, 21/4 - Wedgewood Rooms, Portsmouth, 24/4 - The Central, Gateshead, 25/4 - Communion @ Nice and Sleazy, Glasgow, 26/4 - The Green Room, Stockton on tees

HODA MOHAJERANI

In the throes of the Iranian revolution of 1979, Hoda and her family fled the country just before the government shut its airports. They lived in exile, in Paris at first, where a young Hoda would put on records and monster headphones to silence the constant boom of political banter in her home.

An absinthe of garage, rock, indie-pop, blues-punk and the distinct timbre and vulnerability of Hoda’s voice, at times reminiscent of Hazel O’Connor and Lene Lovich.

Raging Waves is like a musical storm set to become an anthem for all who have been engulfed by hopelessness, doubt and fear and who have through love, dedication and above all courage, arisen victorious. A warrior, a rocker and a woman of heart, Hoda has charted a unique course through the tides of her cultural and religious background. Her new single Raging Waves gives us an absolute bearing with which to chart our own.

“Hoda is definitely one to watch…” FINK

“A great song!” NICK LAUNAY (Yeah Yeah Yeah’s/ Nick Cave)

“I love the emotion and commitment in the vocals” CHRIS POTTER (Verve/Rolling Stones)

“Poised between songwriting a la Joni Mitchell, Rock and Brit-Pop Beautiful and sharp” KURIER

“It seems like this woman is ready to take over the music industry.” MRU

A bitch’s brew of Iranian-British singer, songwriter and guitarist, Hoda Mohajerani has her debut EP “Arrivals” tucked in her back pocket whilst pouring the alt-rock world the first shot from her forthcoming full-length album “Miracle Inc.”

In the throes of the Iranian revolution of 1979, Hoda and her family fled the country just before the government shut its airports. They lived in exile, in Paris at first, where a young Hoda would put on records and monster headphones to silence the constant boom of political banter in her home. Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Ricki Lee Jones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Supertramp, The Doors, Neil Young, Jimi Hendrix, Patti Smith, The Clash- these were some of the artists that showed the young political immigrant how music transcends borders.

A warrior, a rocker and a woman of heart, Hoda has charted a unique course through the tides of her cultural and religious background to get here, and it looks like she’s going to stay.

LANRE

Lánre has spent the past couple of years playing her songs in cafés, bars and various charity events all over London.

Growing up in Nigeria meant music was a hobby to Lánre. Passing her Maths, English and Sciences with flying colours became priority. Lanre picked up my love for writing and music again in year 2002 when she joined the award winning UK collective GK REAL and that musical journey took me around the world singing and performing with amazing singers, writers and producers.

One of the eleven UK singers and songwriters selected to be part of the Prezzo live tour; performing at various UK restaurants of the Italian chain. Her music can be best described as acoustic soul with influences from her Nigerian heritage of storytelling and folk music along with her background in gospel music.

Lánre has taken her Singing for Change acoustic tour to various venues and events like the Greenbelt Festival, Edinburgh Fringe, Bath Music Festival, Brighton Fringe, Toronto Canada and Paris.

Her debut solo album Pen Voyage Chapter One: Singing for Change was officially released this autumn. The single Má Gbàgbé was selected to be on the Lufthansa Airline’s playlist “Sounds of Africa”. The track was also included in the BBC Introducing playlist on BBC 6

Rikky James who is based in Manchester, England.

Rikky James now returns with his new tracks Dream, and Number & Name both featuring Tom Vernon and Steelo 1, and taken from his forthcoming album.
Despite being born blind, Rikky James has not prevented this from pursuing his music career.  Having managed to pick up some success with his debut EP which involved Mikey Shine from The Happy Mondays, with higher aspirations Rikky James recorded a charity single for PAPYRUS Prevention Of Young Suicide, titled Take It Away which was produced by Tom Vernon who has worked with the likes of Jessie J and George Michael to name but a few.
Details on how you can purchase his old and new material along with further information on Rikky James can be found on his websites www.rikkyjames.com and www.facebook.com/rikkyjamesofficial
