Supported by John Kennedy XFM, Huw Stephens and Phil Taggart at BBC radio 1, Jake Thompson at Kerrang Radio, Jo Good XFM and more.

Following on from the success of their MOM JEANS EP and debut UK tour, South Carolina’s HEYROCCO return with ELSEWHERE, a slice of angular guitar pop from their forthcoming album TEENAGE MOVIE SOUNDTRACK.

HEYROCCO wowed audiences with their explosive live shows on their winter UK tour, including a Sold Out Headline slot to 1400 people for Club NME @ KOKO.

With their Soundcloud hitting over 250k plays over the last six months, it’s clear that their brand of 90’s-inspired ‘disney-grunge’ is connecting with a whole new generation of fans.

With 4 weeks to go until ‘Elsewhere’ is officially released, the single has had early support from Jo Good and John Kennedy at XFM and Phil Taggart at BBC’s Radio 1.

Nate Merli (vocals and guitar), Christopher Cool (bass and yes, that’s his real name), and Taco Cooper (drums) first plugged in their parent’s garage five years ago. This South Carolina-bred trio may be known for their dark, nostalgic pop tunes, but their compelling image and onstage persona is in-your-face rock and roll.

Nadine

‘This Isn’t Love’

Release date: March 9th, 2015

Moving from Switzerland to London to build her career in music, NADINE has performed regularly in venues across the UK. Collaboraing and co-writting with established Swiss and UK artists, Nadine is finally set for her independent release Exile.

Originally a Graphic Designer, Nadine's love for music continued to pull her away from her day job and lead to the release of her debut EP Spring Will Come, which caught the attention of BBC Introducing And various bloggers around the UK. After the positive response of her first EP, Nadine returned to the studio with producer JJ Mitchell to start work on Exile.

As the title reflects, Exile is a collection of tracks that explores the deeper experiences and eventual strengths that comes from isolation.

Although personal in content Exile is the product of a strong collaberation between Mitchell and Nadine. Taking inspiration from the likes of BroodsKwabs & Kye, Kye the Ep combines experimental production with traditional songwriting, breathing life into this emotive body of work.

The lead track and first single This Isn’t Love will pull at your heart strings as you gear up to take Nadine's journey in Exile.

Tri City Villains

Jona Overground are the serendipitous pairing, whose debut album On The Outsidehas blazed a trail of widespread plaudits following its release via IRL Records this summer, ‘sublime’, ‘soulful’ and ‘eloquent’ to name a few. The second single from the album is a potential radio classic entitled Let's Pretend.

Anna's voice is like a more soulful Sarah Cracknell” - The Quietus

“…sublime timeless pop that they have the ability to seemingly create with little effort”

Louder Than War

“…majestic melodic curves from the startreminding of Burt Bacharach composed musical shadows” Ringmaster Revue

“This is pop with soul, an elegant soundwith an eloquent voice that references the iconic singers of yesteryear and brings the sound bang up to date.” - Dancing About Architecture

The duo started writing songs together after meeting at Goldsmiths and discovering a shared love of classic songwriting. They began recording in 2012 as well as playing some acoustic gigs to gauge audience response. The London live circuit was immediately smitten by the new duo, and live fans wanted to know when the debut album would arrive. It already had…Jona Overground just needed the right label to work with. Step in Label owner David Jaymes (IRL Records) after meeting in an underground bar in Soho in late 2013. The connection made, Jona's performance was about to go overground with an official release in 2014.

Since their album release the band have performed their first single live on weekend BBC Radio, as well as  featuring on numerous other stations around the UK. In addition they have been busy performing songs from On The Outside in local venues and festivals, supported by their dedicated and ever growing live fan base. Having recorded a French version of Let's Pretend (included on their EP) the duo reveal themselves to be cosmopolitans, broadening their performance horizons, as they look forward to introducing their music to audiences in Europe and beyond.

Anna's in-demand talents have provided regular support to the likes of Kylie, Erasure and Lionel Richie, with TV appearances on shows such as TFI Friday and Graham Norton. Jon’s a man with more instruments to his name than 6 weeks in the studio could exhaust. A self taught guitarist and classically trained pianist his writing credits include music for the BBC, Channel 4 and ESPN.

It's released on Feb 23rd and is taken from their current album "Fools, Mules and Baggage".

They're a quirky indie-pop band and we hope you enjoy them.  If you can support them, please drop me a line and we'll spread the word!

Gretchen Peters

Hall of Famer Gretchen Peters Releases 'Blackbirds' on 9thFeb 2015 / Proper Records

Also single When All You Got Is A Hammer

Nashville Songwriters Hall Of Famer Collaborates With Jerry Douglas, Jason Isbell, Jimmy Lafave And More

Fresh off her induction into the prestigious Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, Gretchen Peters has confirmed the 9th February release of her new album 'Blackbirds.' Co-produced with Doug Lancio and Barry Walsh and recorded in Nashville, the album features a who's who of modern American roots music: Jerry Douglas, Jason Isbell, Jimmy LaFave, Will Kimbrough, Kim Richey, Suzy Bogguss and more. But it's not the guests that make 'Blackbirds' the most poignant and moving album of the GRAMMY-nominee's storied career; it’s the impeccable craftsmanship, her ability to capture the kind of complex, conflicting, and overwhelming emotional moments we might otherwise try to hide and instead shine a light of truth and understanding onto them.

The eleven tracks on 'Blackbirds' face down death with a dark grit and delicate beauty. "During the summer of 2013 when I began writing songs for 'Blackbirds,' there was one week when I went to three memorial services and a wedding," remembers Peters. "It dawned on me that this is the way it goes as you get older - the memorial services start coming with alarming frequency and the weddings are infrequent and thus somehow more moving."

She found herself drawn to artists courageous enough to face their own aging and mortality in their work (Leonard Cohen, Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Nick Lowe), but noticed all the material was coming from a male perspective. "As brave an artistic risk as it may be for a man, it’s much riskier for a woman to speak about it," says Peters, whose incredible catalogue of songs—including "Independence Day" and "On A Bus To St. Cloud"—have been recorded by everyone from Martina McBride and Neil Diamond to Etta James and Trisha Yearwood. "Aging seems to be a taboo subject for female singer-songwriters, in part because our value has depended so much on our youth and sexuality. I want to write about that stuff because it’s real, it’s there, and so few women seem to be talking about it."

In an atypical and unexpectedly rewarding move, Peters teamed with frequent tour-mate Ben Glover to co-write several tunes on the new album, which evokes the kind of 1970's folk rock of Neil Young, David Crosby, and Joni Mitchell that Peters grew up on, albeit with a more haunted, country-noir vibe simmering just below the surface.

Geographically, the album leaps around the country, with particularly heartrending stops in southern Louisiana at the scene of a crime ("Blackbirds"), Pelham, New York, where Peters probes the hidden darkness of the leafy suburbia in which she grew up ("The House On Auburn Street"), and the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, where a fisherman lays his wife to rest after losing everything in the BP oil spill ("Black Ribbons"). "When All You Got Is A Hammer" is the story of a veteran struggling to adjust to life at home after fighting overseas, while "The Cure For The Pain" takes place in the waning days of illness in a hospital, and "Nashville" brings us back to Peters' adopted hometown.

Despite the varied locations, the songs on 'Blackbirds' are all inextricably tied together through their characters, whom Peters paints with extraordinary empathy and vivid detail.

'Blackbirds' follows Peters' 2012 album 'Hello Cruel World,' which NPR called "the album of her career" and Uncut said "establishes her as the natural successor to Lucinda Williams." If anything, though, 'Blackbirds' truly establishes Peters as a one-of-a-kind singer and songwriter, one in possession of a fearless and endlessly creative voice.

Multi-talented artist unveils new track before it goes on sale Feb 9th 2015

A multi-talented London based musician offering more than meets the eye, Chris D’Lima is an artist whose catchy guitar riffs match with layered vocals to give him a sound all of his own.

His new song, ‘Decisions’, is written about having to make a decision which you would rather run from, but being forced to choose anyway. In your mind there might be a simple solution, but when the time comes to make the decision it’s not as straightforward as you thought. It’s a situation anyone can relate to, captured brilliantly in delicate, heartfelt lyrics which are complimented by a solid funk groove – quite an achievement for his very first single release.

Produced by Resonant Music, a company who have been linked with Emeli Sande’s management team, it’s a single that the multi-skilled songwriter hopes will open new doors in the music industry. And those doors might just already be wedged open already.

Having completed a Mathematics and Statistics Degree at The University of Leeds, as well as growing up learning the cello, Chris D’Lima’s music is written with the details in mind. With an ear for classical compositions, and an eye for formulas that work to create more than the sum of their parts, his background gives D’Lima a slightly unusual perspective on song writing as a process.

His writing is also heavily influenced by his time as a teenager, playing in funk rock bands since the age of fourteen, which may go some way to explaining why his sound already sounds mature on this debut single.

He doesn’t write to fashion, to fit in with what’s popular right now – he writes music he wants to hear. And it’s clearly something that others like too.

He’s performed 150 gigs in past two-and-a-half years, with venues including the London Astoria, Clapham Grand and Islington O2 Academy. In addition, his YouTube channel of cover songs has over 500,000 views to date. It’s success that has brought the attention of scouts from X-Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, but he has turned them down more than 10 times in the past 3 years, preferring to make his own way.

Instead he mixes work as a maths tutor (the maths degree put to good use) with work as a freelance model. As we said before – a multi-talented London based musician offering more than meets the eye.

It’s said hard work and dedication is what it takes to make it as an artist in the music industry. If that’s the case, Chris D’Lima is already on his way.

I'm Feel It In Your Heart the last track of Frank D’Angelo's album Just Give Me One More Moment. A sensitive song about true love and staying true to those you are closest to you!

After the fantastic success of Frank’s last track Now in the US, we are looking to bring some of the love over to our side of the pond with this fantastic track.

Frank’s musical career began in the 80’s as the frontman of the band Toronto, bringing audiences to their feet with R&B hits as they played to packed houses across North America.

Recently he has been singing the same smooth RnB hits but in front of a 15-piece ensemble with a complete brass section –this a musical medley comprised of some of Canada’s top musicians covering a broad range of musical styles.

The music from Frank's latest album is also featured in his hit film Real Gangsters which has gained cult status among fans of gangster films as one of the hidden gems of the genre.

In the past Frank has opened for the likes of Tom Cochrane, Peter Frampton, Burton Cummings, LoverBoy, Gino Vanelli, The Temptations,

When D’Angelo hits the stage it’s an unexpected and welcome blast of energy.

Multi-Platinum selling UK artist OWS releases his debut solo single ‘Waterline’ on March 29th following performances in the US at SXSW and his first solo headline show in the UK.

Waterline was first leaked into the U.S on Jay Z’s blog Life + Times in September last year and stated:  “The combination of the alluring rasp of the UK crooner’s vocals and Pusha’s signature flow, “Waterline” proves to be a smart move artistically for this debut OWS single”.

With no marketing and very little social media the mysterious OWS gained interest from some of the biggest names in the music industry including Jay Z, Pusha T and Kanye West.

G.O.O.D Music rapper, Pusha T said: “When I first met OWS we connected, he is an incredibly talented artist, it was a no brainer to join him on his album!  He is about to blow up in the US and I’m thrilled to have been there from the beginning.”  PUSHA T

“To have a rapper with a number one US hip hop album feature on my first single Waterline was a blessing, to also have King Push in the music video is truly unbelievable.

Working with Pusha T along with the backing of Kanye and G.O.O.D Music is incredible and demonstrates their belief in me as an artist.” OWS

SXSW, Austin, Texas, US              16th - 22nd March 2015.
