Songwriter Big Lenny B ready to release single ‘In a Minute’

Track taken from upcoming album ‘…& Friends’, both released Feb 2015

A bass playing singer songwriter from the South East UK, Big Lenny B is a 20 year veteran of the industry in both original bands and as a session musician. His session career has seen him sharing stages with many top acts such as Feeder, Razorlight, The Feeling, Noah and the Whale, as well as supporting the likes of Foxes and Scouting for Girls.

These experiences have given him a great inside look into the workings of the music industry, and he’s now gearing up for his first solo release in 2015, along with a live show in which he plans to ‘show the youngsters how it’s done’. It all starts with the excellent debut single ‘In A Minute’ which is due for release on February 16th.

Written about that first moment of mutual attraction you feel when spotting someone for the first time as they smile back, it’s a brilliantly uplifting single - rhythmically dynamic and high in energy, it sums up Big Lenny B’s love for song writing perfectly:

The single is taken from the album ‘…& Friends’ out  February 23rd –was produced by Martin Smith and Mastered by Jon Astley, and there are obvious influences from the classic likes of Roger Waters, The Who, Elbow, Genesis, Pink Floyd, plus a few contemporary touches for good measure. His unusual production approach saw him bring in layers and lines from many remote contributors, splicing them all together to create the full tracks as they appear on the album.

The method gave rise to the album title, and this layering of different musicians, sometimes with multiple players on each instrument, makes for a unique sound.

Lyrically, the album is an observational one, taking cues from the everyday life and experiences of Big Lenny B. It makes for a collection of uniquely personal insights and thoughts from a musician who has enjoyed a varied life both on stage and off.

Following the unveiling of their debut track ‘Bridges’ in November, Black Country 5-piece EofE, continue to leave their mark with the release of the band’s first official single, ‘Stars In Hollywood’, due March 9th.

With their ever-growing army of devoted supporters, ‘Stars In Hollywood’ is a second helping of scintillating pop rock from EofE, sending out a real statement of intent. The song lyrically explores the theme of determination and hope, with aspirations of eventually leaving their hometown, moving on to bigger things and rising to the top.

The release will come after the band hit the road once again in February in support of UK metallers Glamour Of The Kill.  The band’s previous outing was a successful 11-date headline run in November, which included raucous landmark sold-out shows at the Borderline, London and their hometown Birmingham Institute.

The upcoming 12-date tour will be another opportunity to catch the explosive young talents at the top of their game. After spending the last year playing gigs wherever they could, the band have racked up a massively impressive 20,000 Facebook fans and 23,000 Twitterfollowers.

Introducing Manchester band 'KAZO'...another great band I seem to have the knack of finding from the great North West!

Kazo burst onto the scene in 2012, and have since notched up some pretty high profile gigs, including the Highlander Festival in Stockport, a pre-footy Man City match at the Ethiad Stadium and even Noel Gallagher'safter show party in Liverpool.
Legendary Dan Broad prob best sums up the band well ..."They have what it takes to survive the music industry, in my opinion. Their songs stand by themselves. They're dynamic and unequivocally unique. On top of that the lads have an infectious magnetism, with their strong bond of friendship playing out well on stage."

They also have a great band website for easy access to essential info!

UK vocalist Shaun Escoffery, whose classic hits “Space Rider” and “Days Like This” are enjoyed by club goers worldwide, is back with a stunning new single “Nobody Knows” released on 9thMarch on Dome Records.

From his first recording with D-Influence at the tender age of 17, Shaun Escoffery has been one of the UK’s finest vocal talents - a singer with a glorious Isleys/Curtis Mayfield falsetto.  Along the way he has enjoyed support from Elton John - who has hailed Shaun as one of his favourite new artists - and a lifelong friend actor Idris Elba.

Jackson, Clint Eastwood and Halle Berry.

But he now returns to his own solo recording career with what many critics consider to be his finest album yet, “In The Red Room”, recorded with producer Gil Cang, whose past credits include writing “Whatever Happens”, recorded by Michael Jackson on his “Invincible” album.

Following his UK Airplay chart successes with “Nature’s Call” and “People”, Shaun Escoffery is back with a powerful mid-tempo song “Nobody Knows”.

His heartfelt, emotional delivery on this re-recorded version of the track from his album “In The Red Room” will confirm his status as one of the UK’s most soulful male vocalists.
