With national radio play already behind him in the UK which has resulted in invitations to perform at a number of famous London venues as well as a 5 date college tour across the US, the future is looking increasingly bright for Ikes.
Following on from his number one US College Hip Hop Radio Charts single, Ikes now returns with his new track and video Pray For Me which was produced by One Black Russian; with additional production and arrangement from Grammy award winning engineer Edward Nixon and Ikes himself.

Lead Tracks: 'Calma, Calma', 'On and On'

"It's as if Simple Minds had a baby with Depeche Mode and Placebo!"
Pamela Chelin (Rolling Stone, Spin, LA Weekly, LA Times)

Hailing from Montreal, Canada, Icicle's second album 'Theorems' is released on September 15, 2015.

This follow-up solo record consists of twelve very strong and personal compositions created during an exceptionally intense period for the artist. It bounces between rock and pop, accessible and innovative yet open and defiant.

As Icicle, Krassy Halatchev has charmed Canadian and international audiences for over two decades following his defection from communist Bulgaria with the band The Clouds.

From 1996 to 2012, he was a core member of the Montreal-based band Chiwawa, a group that had some success touring as well as collaborating on various film and video projects.

While 'Theorems' marks his second solo release, Halatchev's team spirit has closely tied him together with Florida based poet Joel Jenkins who wrote lyrics for some of the songs. The merging of the cultural and expressive styles has brought forward a work that is both unique yet familiar. On and On, the albums second single, is a perfect example for their remarkable collaboration.

Fans can pre-order 'Theorem's on BandCamp starting August 1st, 2015 It will also be available starting September 15th from every major online retailer.

Orange Vision
Dark Around the Eyes
31 August 2015
'Dark Around the Eyes' is the latest release from Orange Vision, a band firmly in the ascendant having already enjoyed support from Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1 and Steve Lamacq on BBC 6 Music as well as earning coveted support slots for Superfood and Honeyblood on the NME New Breed Tour.

The four-piece from Oxford, influenced by post punk, glam and shoegaze, produce reverb drenched, melodic pop anthems with a new wave edge.

Formed two years ago when Ed and Matthew bonded over a love of clothes, music and a generally delinquent approach to their depressing surroundings and sapped music scene, they were later joined by Daniel and Jake. The band became a primary focus and what started as a driving growling rock and roll sneer has blossomed into a post punk psychedelic new wave dream.

Edmund Quigley - Lead Vocals/Guitar
Jacob Mott - Backing Vocals/Drums
Matthew Holford - Lead Guitar
Daniel Jones - Bass Guitar

We were bowled over by their soundcloud track How You Feel, which combines new wave guitars with a nifty spoken-word interlude featuring a lost Marc Bolan interview
Matt Wilkinson, NME

They have the look and feel of a great 90s bands like Pulp and Kula Shaker, but with galloping doses of The Horrors and The Cure
Nightshift Magazine

Coffeepot Drive are a blues-fuelled rock offering who have toured with the likes of Status QuoUriah Heep, Goo Goo Dolls and even REO Speedwagon on an individual basis, before joining forces. Set to release their first full length LP on August 31st, an amalgamation of driving low ends and exquisite vocals. “Edge of Town” was produced by Andy Brook (triple nomination by Music Producers Guild for UK Producer of the Year, Breakthrough Producer & Breakthrough Engineer of 2013) and recorded at the legendary ARSIS Studiosowned and lent to the band by Status Quofront man Francis Rossi.

No Sky’ is the second track taken from Merky ACE’s ‘Peak Levels EP’, released by Dirtee Stank Recordings and it is BIG! After the success of 'Cuss Match', Merky gained the support of DJs at 1Xtra, Kiss and Rinse FM and he is rapidly establishing his name as one of the most authentic grime MC’s around. Spitting cold verses coupled with a devastating hook, Merky gives us a masterclass in flow, lyrical dexterity and energy.

It has already been a great year for Merky, with performances in Norway, Czech Republic, France, Croatia (Outlook) & Finland as well as numerous sets in the UK, Merky ACE has recently found himself glossing the pages of US mag, Rollacoaster and UK Vogue after performing at London Fashion Week with Red Bull & Topshop x Nasir Mahzar.

The final release off the 3 track EP will be ‘Late Night Vibes’ featuring fellow Family Tree member, TKO and up and coming East London MC, Cadell. So make sure you look out for that, plus the video to 'No Sky', which is dropping this week via SBTV.

The Selecter release Walk The Walk - the 2nd single from their recent, exceptionally well received album Subculture - on 14th August.

Would you please formally accept this email as a submission to you for airplay?

Walk The Walk is extremely radio friendly, and this single version has been completely re-mixed and re-mastered specifically for radioplay by Pete Craigie and Diane Young at DAYtime and Metropolis Studios.

Walk The Walk already has strong producer support at 6Music and Radio 2, and is being taken into both playlist meetings next week. The preceeding single, Box Fresh received over 20 national radio plays.

SKETCHMAN

‘PARAMOUNT'

 Impact Date: 28/08/2

TAKEN FROM THE FORTHCOMING ALBUM NOTHING IS ENOUGH

26 year old South London grime artist Sketchman, aka Charles Hazell, has announced the release of Paramount the first single from his debut album Nothing Is Enough

Released, on Sketchman’s own Uncle Albert RecordsParamount comes after his previous efforts achieved nationwide radio airplay – namely a week-long playlisting, backed by BBC Introducing on Radio 1Xtra. While interview by DJ Target, Sketchman described the new album to be “more story telling… real life experience”, elaborating that it would document his journey as an independent artist in the music industry.

Paramount sees Sketchman deliver multisyllabic rhyming, over his signature blend of live instruments and electronic drum patterns. Aside from lead vocal and production from Sketchman, the album features additional vocals and 12-sting acoustic guitar from singer/songwriter Chloe Ray. It also features bass guitar from Sam NSQ and has been mixed and mastered by veteran sound engineer Danny C.

Paramount is largely about the escape to be had through creative lyric writing, and exploring one’s imagination. It serves as an apt introduction to Nothing Is Enough, where more of the same can be expected.

Since the release of his mixtape 'Winnaz Therapy' earlier this year, Fuzay has become one of the most talked about emerging artists of late and now he is back with another banger! Fuzay's flow goes hard over the heavy beat produced by super duo Z Dot & Krunchie , as he describes his hunger for success.

His last project saw him gaining support from the likes of Wretch 32, Link Up TV, GRM Daily, Gigslutz and footy fanatics favourite Soccer AM and there’s no sign of stopping with his new track.

Enjoy x

four-piece band from London called The King’s Parade. We are releasing our first single ‘Bunched Up Letters’ out now
Debut single 'Bunched Up Letters' sits somewhere between The Black Keys and The Kinks, Bill Withers and Leon Bridges - soaked in bourbon, the vocal delivery is matched to a strident, muscular arrangement." - CLASH

Mez Mariye who is based in Toronto, Canada.

After grabbing the attention of Norm Sabourin from Aqua Sound Entertaiment, Mez Mariye has not looked back since and is currently creating quite a stir on the worldwide music scene through his own unique blend of talent.
After travelling to Tokyo to record the video for his new single of the same name, Mez Mariye has begun gaining fans in Japan, and with his sights firmly set on the US and Europe, it is likely you will be hearing a lot more from him in the near future.

Miel de Botton releases her new single, ‘Magnetic’, August 14th 2015

Miel de Botton is set to release her second single, the title track ‘Magnetic’ from her debut album. Remixed by Ash Howes (Kylie Minogue, Ellie Goulding), with remixes by Manhattan Clique (Emeli Sandé , Katy Perry), the single offers a delicate, sweet and intimate insight to Miel, showcasing her vocal talent and ability to write lyrics that are spiritual and meaningful to her, giving a real sense of connection for the listener. The song was written almost as mission statement to attract love to her and to bring joy and integrity to her life, as Miel explains

Miel is proof that that it is never too late to dream, and that those dreams can come true. The mother of two and former psychologist has embarked on a music career that has already seen her perform at the Aldwych Theatre and at the Southbank Centre’s Purcell Room (“a truly memorable evening”), as well as joining John Barrowman earlier this year as a special guest on his “You Raise Me Up” national UK tour, including a date at the London Palladium.

“Miel was a dream to have on tour, her unique healing sound was a delight to the audience and me every night” - John Barrowman

Shake Hands With Danger os the debut release from London based producer/musician Rikardus, aka Rich Drury.  It combines driving drums, dancehall stabs, guitars and retro-synths to create a hard-hitting and infectious three and a half minutes , punctuated by a vocal sample you won't get out of your head!

Drury has previously produced and written for a number of UK/US/Jamaican artists, from Mighty Diamonds to Estelle, FYA to Bounty Killer, and whilst the Rikardus project is very much his own thing, expect to hear some featured vocalists along the way and an eclectic album a little further down the line.

In the meantime get ready to shake hands….
