The amazing Ange Hardy played a live session on tonight's show . Great to chat to as well .  You all seemed to love it here's a few of my fav comments re the show

I have to say I think that was the best interview I have heard you give yet. The sound quality was perfect and despite you having a slightly husky voice you sang all three songs so well.  I also think Jackson Cooper is the best DJ / interviewer you have been in a radio studio with. He asked very sensible questions and didn't delve too much into your  early life but let you say as much about it as you wanted to say without being semi pressured into saying more.  Also it wasn't a rushed interview as it took approx 35 - 40 mins so well done.

@robswan: Listening to @AngeHardyMusic being interviewed by @jacksoncooper3… utterly, utterly captivating.

@RandomOrderband: .@jacksoncooper3 gr8t show! Thx for playing "Living On A Deadline"

The new single from 4th Street Traffic.
Bitter Sweet - impact date October 6th 2014.
Formed in 2001, 4th Street Traffic has had a true apprenticeship in the unsigned music industry, where most bands have long lost the belief in their dream, 4th street slogged it out and the hunger has grown stronger.
The release of the Début album “Wake Up Call” sold a massive 3000 hard copies to a fan base that grew overnight, with this support and overwhelming reaction the path was set for a great future, following the release the band set a 15 date uk tour and were creating a buzz.
Local radio station Red Dragon FM (Now Capital FM) saw something exciting and invited the band to perform “Party In The Park” 2005 in front of a crowd of 25,000.
After a string of EP releases they created a second Album titled “Kick the habit” at Long Wave Studios, with producer Romesh Dodangoda, who had produced for Manic Street Preachers, Kids in Glass houses, Funeral for a Friend, Twin Atlantic among many other great bands.
It was the game changer, this album was picked up by Kelly Jones and Richard Jones of Stereophonics which lead to the band being invited to open up the Summer In The City concert in Cardiff City Stadium to a sell out of 30,000.
Kick the Habit went on to sell well in excess of 6000 copies in hard copies and online downloads, it continues to sell strong to this day and the success of this year alone shot the bands profile up dramatically.
With an incredible foundation in place the bands status grew and they became more popular with promoters across the board making the call work with them, the support slots came rolling in with some fantastic headliners such as Electric Six, Toploader, The Darkness, Mike and the Mechanics, The Stranglers, 10CC, Dodgy, We Are Scientists, The Enemy and list goes on.
Late 2013/2014 after literally a year of solid grind to fund studio time the band went back to Long Wave Studio to finish off the tracks for the 3rd Album “Claim To Fame”.
The months following have been totally dedicated to touring, hitting the festival circuit and promoting as much as physically possible.
There has always been a steady stream of artists ready to emerge from the hills and valleys capable of being world beaters. 4th Street Traffic are one of those bands right now!
Their music is packed with ripe with hooks and a crowd-bouncing dose of pop-rock energy capable of getting any crowd going with their simple and melodic approach allowing for total enjoyment.
Make no mistake 4th Street are one of the hardest working and most dedicated bands out there, with a work ethic to rival the biggest names on the planet, passionate, persistent but patient, they will never give up.
Could this single be the start of their "13 year overnight success story"? We think so. It's an absolute belter.

Dmitry Nechaev single ‘Memory (Unstaged)’

Set for release Oct 29th

http://we.tl/44MCd9Bh3K

Flamboyant songwriter, Dmitry Nechaev is not the kind of artist who comes along every day. Born in Russia, his vocal is reminiscent of Savage Garden’s Darren Hayes, only with a deeper soul to the sound.

His latest single, due on October 29th, gives you a glimpse of what's to come

Listen to 'Memory (Unstaged)’ here: https://soundcloud.com/dmitrynechaev/memory-unstaged

The single, recorded ‘as live’, is part of a larger collaborative project, stringing together a host of ‘Unstaged’ music videos to create a tightly woven plot. It’s an unusual way to release a single, but Dmitry has never done things the ordinary way.

Having toured the world while working as a model, his journey into the music industry started proper in 2008 when he won ‘Best Vocalist of the Year’ in a contest held between the leading music colleges and institutes of Moscow followed by debut album Ignis Fatuus released in. For a time, he continued to work as a model, but has recently decided to make the transition to full time musician and songwriter.

Following it’s worldwide radio premiere on both Austin Kramer’s show (Sirius) and Danny Howard (Radio 1), Michael Woods presents his debut release on Spinnin' Records with ‘In Your Arms featuring Lauren Dyson,’
‘In Your Arms’ had its debut spin at Pacha’s No Pants Party in New York back in March this year, after Michael had finished the track en-route to the gig. And it connected immediately - with Tiesto demanding a copy when he heard it in the booth no less. The demand from djs and clubbers for this one has been overwhelming, and, with a significant promo plan in place this is set to be one of Michael’s most prominent releases in recent times. The package serves up a funky and electric remix from internationally renowned duo Plastik Funk as well as an extended club mix from Michael himself.
Rolling into the summer season with tour dates from Ibiza to Toronto and a residency at Hakkasan (Las Vegas) in the midst of it all, Michael’s tour diary is as strong as ever as he prepares to release more material plus launch his newly revamped and soon to be weekly podcast. How does he fit it all in?

KITTY BRUCKNELL
‘GLITTER IN THE SKY’
RELEASED: 19TH OCTOBER 2014
“Kitty's departure was most notable for signalling something else: the instant that this year's The X Factor stopped being fun.”
– The Guardian
Mention Kitty to anyone and they will instantly know you are talking about, the irresistibly controversial Kitty Brucknell, who wowed 14.8million viewers as a finalist on the eighth season of the X-Factor, alongside Frankie Cocozza and Little Mix.
Kitty captivated the audiences and judges alike with her soaring vocals and outlandish theatrical performances, which saw her entering the stage on a giant Catherine wheel and stomping on silverware as Alice in Wonderland for her cover of ‘Oh So Quiet’ by the equally quirky Bjork.
During the show, Kitty not only found a fan in eccentric pop queen Lady Gaga, she also received messages of support from Kylie Minogue, Brian May and Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton who even invited her as ‘Guest of Honour’ to his 36th birthday bash.
Since the X-Factor, Kitty has embarked on several critically acclaimed international tours, headlined National Pride Day and released a series of underground recordings including ‘Chains’ which not only attracted attention from the likes of Cosmopolitan, the Mirror and Digital Spy, but Queen’s Brian May also tweeted the track as his ‘Hot tip of the week.’
THIS OCTOBER will see the return of Kitty with her debut single ‘Glitter In The Sky’ taken from her forthcoming album ‘Glamour & Damage,’ with this sing along quirky, indie/pop song, she’ll be exploding back onto the scene in her inimitable style which see’s her jumping out of a plane at 15,000ft up for her brand new video.
This Kitty has found her claws and is ready to take back her crown as
QUEEN DIVA!

Vocalist Joe James on the meaning behind 'Perfect' - 'I am a perfectionist. To a fault. It's a tiring pursuit. I was trying to write a song about this particular subject and predictably I was never quite happy with any of the lyrics. Shocking. I decided that the only way to do it was to beat my compulsion at its own game and write the song whilst tracking it in the vocal booth. So this song was written on the spot and in the moment and it's probably one of my favourites on the album.'
You can watch the brilliant new video for 'Perfect' here:
