The Marivaux launch their new single with a gig at Rebellion, Manchester ~ Fri 6 Nov
The Marivaux neatly tie in the release of their new single, Birds and the Bees with a launch date/gig at Rebellion, Manchester on Friday November 6th.
The video for Birds and the Bees is directed by Sean Ward ~ aka Coronation Street's deceased bad boy, Callum Logan. It features actor Jack Johnson and also Sean's former on-screen colleague Georgia May Foote, who is now one of the favourites to win in Strictly Come Dancing.
Mixed by Grammy Award-winning Ian Dowling (Adele, Catfish & the Bottlemen)and mastered by Ed Woods (The Who, Manic Street Preachers, The Virgin Marys), Birds and the Bees is The Marivaux's first record since they embarked on their 2 European tours earlier this year.
The band have just performed a series of live dates, to coincide with the release of Birds and the Bees. They'll also be playing Proud, Camden on Friday 30th October, ahead of their Manchester launch party date on Friday November 6th.

Multinational melodic metal band Eden's Curse are close to completing the writing phase on their as-yet-untitled fifth studio album, which will be released Autumn 2016 by German label AFM Records.
The follow up to 2013's critically acclaimed 'Symphony Of Sin' album will once again see the band's long term mixing engineer Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69, Unisonic) behind the controls.
"With every new album we take a step forward and the fifth album is no different" declares bassist Paul Logue. "The band are very excited by the new song ideas and this record definitely has it's own personality with our most progressive collection of songs yet. As always, it's 100% Eden's Curse" he adds.
The studio recordings will be the first to feature the band's new drummer John Clelland (Code Of Silence, The Crows) and will include song titles such as 'Jericho', 'Find My Way', 'Rome's On Fire', 'This Is Our Moment' & 'Messiah Complex' to name but a few.
Eden's Curse are delighted to learn that the video for the lead single from the 'Symphony Of Sin' album 'Evil & Divine' has exceeded 100,000 plays on You Tube.
To celebrate the milestone the band's label AFM Records has released a live video of the song, recorded during the 'Live With The Curse' album recording show at The Classic Grand in Glasgow last year.

Formed in 2006, multinational melodic metal band Eden's Curse have risen from their humble beginnings as an internet studio project to a fully blown touring outfit with four studio releases and a double live album behind them.
